What a gem! Loved our stay in this 4 room courtyard hotel. Excellent service, good location (small streets make for slow going for taxis), great breakfast, and a very spacious and comfortable room.

This is an outstanding place to stay. I have been to Beijing many times and this has to be the best experience and the best hotel.
He had the large suite for 4 nights in late October 2024.
Four key things:
1- this is a hotel with only 4 rooms smack on the Longtangs. That, alone, is extraordinary,
2- It is in the architecture of an ancient courtyard -- which is a rarity in Beijing for a hotel.
3- This is a high end room with a really nice breakfast.
4- The staff it really helpful.
I don't think there is anything better in Beijing in the old courtyard style.

This boutique hotel has only four rooms! Nestled in a bustling city center, it offers a tranquil escape within a hutong courtyard, a world of its own. Entering the courtyard, the elegant decor, paintings, and plantings reflect the hotel's refined taste. The rooms are naturally well-appointed, but even more remarkable is the décor and color palette that seamlessly complements the hotel's ambiance. The bathroom is spacious, but the only drawback is the water pressure, which is a bit lacking, barely sufficient for a basic shower, wasting the included TOTO NEOREST three-function showerhead.

We booked a stay at the South Courtyard, which was fantastic overall. It's a top-tier private luxury resort hotel, unlike those luxury chain hotels. You can tell the owner has plenty of money and exquisite taste, and isn't in it just to make money, but to provide cultural enjoyment for discerning people. The courtyard is square in shape, and they've invested heavily in the renovation, decoration, and scenery. The rooms are also above five-star standards, and the beds and pillows are the most comfortable I've ever slept on. Of course, the rooms are decorated with some vintage items that clearly don't belong to this era, which adds a lot of charm. This heritage-level courtyard is a must-stay and cherish.

A very interesting courtyard with only four guest rooms. The courtyard is filled with the sound of birds and flowers, and bees collecting honey.
