Beifei Garden - Majestic Great Wall View Exclusive Hot Spring Resort Hotels near The Ming Tombs
Yanqing Resort Area | 17.93km from The Ming Tombs
I came from Shenzhen to visit the Great Wall. I chose many hotels and B&Bs, and chose this newly opened B&B. I brought my children to stay there, and the children liked it very much. The facilities are very new and odorless, the room is basically intelligently controlled, and the constant temperature of the hot spring pool is very nice. There is an infinity pool and an open-air cinema on the second floor, which is suitable for summer gatherings with friends and you can see the Water Gate Great Wall. It's a 10-minute walk to Badaling and a few hundred meters walk to Shuiguan Great Wall. It's more cost-effective than staying in a B&B hotel in Badaling. The boss is very enthusiastic. I prefer to drink coffee, and I was surprised that there is a coffee machine in the lobby for free coffee. I am very satisfied with my holiday stay.

This hotel is a small germ if you consider your stay at Beijing. Yes, it is a bit outside of the main city but the traffic connections towards the inner parts of Beijing is still reasonable. It is a rather quiet place to have a couple of days with the focus on relaxing when you have only a few things to do in Beijing. The set-up with a kind of traditional house structure - only two floors, square shaped outlying of the building, provides a rather friendly and easy to go feeling. The facilities are well maintained and the fountains in the central yard provide a nice addition together with the hot spring tubes. The surrounding of the artificial lake provides a nice atmosphere. Some visitors may regret that the area surrounding the hotel does not offer much. The stuff are well trained and carry out their tasks with the friendliness expected from a hotel at this level. I summary, I do not hesitate to recommend this hotel for a couple of relaxing days if you have to stay in Beijing and do not have a busy schedule at the same time.

TThe Bit SpaceHighly recommended to experience the taste of Courtyard 民宅四合院. Very convenient location, right at Qianmen. No need to worry about food and drinks, as you are just seconds away from DaShiLan street. The subway is also nearby as well as major attractions such as Tiananmen Square and the Palace Museum. The staff are friendly and attentive, always greeting you when you enter and exit the lobby, and even offering warm drinks during this cold winter.

GGuest UserThe hotel has warm service, clean and tidy, and a superior location, which makes it very convenient to go to the Old Summer Palace and the Summer Palace. The hotel staff is warm and helpful, and the room price is very affordable, with high cost performance! You can also write the word ”Fu” when you check in on the first day of the Chinese New Year, and paste it on the door yourself, which makes you feel the New Year's atmosphere when you are away from home

AAnonymous UserWe had a very pleasant stay at Citigo Hotel Sanyuanqiao. The room was clean and well-maintained, with a practical layout—although not very spacious, it comfortably fits two 28” suitcases. If you're traveling with more luggage, space might feel a bit tight. I appreciated the separate toilet and shower, which is convenient when sharing the room. The housekeeping staff were very friendly—especially the cleaning lady on our floor who always greeted us with a warm smile. The hotel also offers some excellent amenities: free laundry service on the ground floor, a gym, snooker table, and even a game station. I also liked that the hotel was completely non-smoking, as I didn’t notice any cigarette smell throughout the premises. A big bonus was the nightly supper provided at 10 PM for guests, which was a thoughtful touch. Breakfast had a good variety of options, though the dining area can get quite crowded before 9 AM. The lady at the noodle station was particularly friendly and welcoming. The location is also a major plus—just a short walk to the MRT station, making it easy to reach the airport and explore the city. However, do note that getting to major tourist attractions usually requires at least one line change. There are two 24-hour convenience stores nearby (Lawson and 7-11), and a five-story shopping mall within walking distance, which made grabbing food or other necessities super convenient. Overall, this hotel offers great value with thoughtful services and a convenient location. I’d definitely consider staying here again when visiting Beijing.

TTinaMFantastic location if you're about to catch a train via the Beijing West Railway Station. The hotel is just across the station, one can walk through the parking lot and arrive in 2 minutes. If you're arriving via taxi for the first time, it might be a bit confusing when you arrive, as station staff sometimes close off the parking area so vehicles cannot go inside from the main road - just look for the hotel's name though (it's in English and Chinese, both) and you're set. The hotel's reception area is quite small, more than 1-3 people can't really sit in the lobby if waiting for someone/taxi etc. The room I stayed in was large and I was so pleasantly surprised to see how well equipped it was - there was an air purifier, humidifier, water heater etc. The bed was also very, very comfortable. There was hot water 24/7 and the bathroom was clean, though there was a lot of lint accumulated in the hair dryer and it didn't heat properly (this wasn't a huge issue for me so I didn't request for a replacement). There is an absolutely gorgeous teaset in the room too, and brewing my morning tea was such a delight. The ac can both cool and warm the room, which I thought was great. The housekeeping staff were absolutely lovely. Initially they were baffled when I said I don't need fresh towels and slippers everyday and kept insisting on giving me more water bottles haha, they were so kind and warm. Thank you to them for putting a smile on my face everytime I walked by. The reception staff however were notably less warm, although they did try to help me whenever I asked for aid with directions, breakfast timings etc. If you're a foreigner and don't speak any Chinese, you're probably considering staying here because it's a Radisson property and therefore one assumes that reception staff will speak English - my advice is, if this is your first time in China / you haven't yet figured out how to use translation apps, reconsider staying here, as none of the reception staff can speak English and it may be difficult for foreign guests. If you know a little basic Chinese though or can use translation apps, I do recommend staying here, mainly for the location. If you're worried about the Beijing West railway station being a bit unsafe (which it can be), there is always a security guard posted inside the hotel premises. He was kind and it was always reassuring to see him, even when I stepped out at 3 am for some convenience store noodles! I will say though that the reception staff were oddly cold at times -- for example, I had unfortunately missed my early morning train due to a communication issue. I explained this to the ladies at reception, apologising for any inconvenience and asking if I could please leave my luggage with them for a few hours after I check out at 2:00 pm. They responded saying ”you can leave your luggage here but you cannot stay overnight” - it was presented to me as if I was begging/asking for favours. There was no question of my staying overnight as I had explained that I would check out before their checkout time, and would take the next train out of Beijing. Little things like this do spoil an otherwise pleasant experience. I did not try the breakfast buffet so can't comment on that. I will say though that ordering takeaway was always a treat, because a cute robot comes to deliver the parcel at your door. This is normal in Chinese hotels, but this particular bot was very cute :)

JJulia CLWe got confused after we checked in and noticed that there wasn't a door into the bathroom. Called the housekeeping, and they informed that the door was removed because it was spoilt. I think its rather irresponsible to not inform beforehand. The room was changed after complaining. The new room, not sure if it's because it's winter, it's like a sauna in the room! Even the corridor is cooler than the room! There is nothing we can do to adjust the temperature and with the direct sunlight shining in, it just makes it worse. During checking in, I enquired about some day tours but the front office staff couldn't give much information. Generally, the staff are not very enthusiastic and friendly. The plus point is the location. It is about 5 mins walk from Xidan metro station. Lots of food and shopping around the hotel.

WWarren de MoorI recently had the pleasure of staying at Yiting Zhenshe Hotel (Beijing Qianmen Pedestrian Street), and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and professionalism that set the tone for my entire stay. The hotel's location is ideal, offering convenient access to restuarants, stores and 230meter walk from Zhushikou metro station, making it perfect for both leisure and business travelers. The premises are beautifully maintained, with elegant decor of Old Shanghai style reminiscing the 1930s that creates an inviting and luxurious atmosphere. My room was a bit small but comfortable. It was clean with modern amenities such as kettle and bar fridge. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The service at Yiting Zhenshe Hotel (Beijing Qianmen Pedestrian Street) was outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect, always attentive and willing to assist with any request. Their friendly demeanor and attention to detail truly made a difference and enhanced my overall experience. Overall, my experience at Yiting Zhenshe Hotel (Beijing Qianmen Pedestrian Street) exceeded all expectations. The combination of lovely accommodation, outstanding service, and prime location makes it a top choice for anyone visiting the area. I highly recommend and look forward to returning on my next visit.

VvictorngwlThe amenities are fantastic, with a washing machine in the apartment itself, quite useful for long travels. There is also a very well equipped gym and a large swimming pool. The apartment is furnished luxuriously and there is also a kitchen. There are many restaurants and eateries just adjacent to the hotel, along with supermarkets. The nearest metro station is however about 5 to 8 minutes walk away. The staff here are all helpful and polite. Special thanks to Cherry, who made my check-in process pleasant and is very helpful. Also many thanks to the cleaner Miao Hongyan who is meticulous and thoughtful when attending to our needs. Will definitely stay there again!

DDr. Julio BernalWe love this hotel for the location and the size of the room. The place is very luxurious but one thing that can be improved is the temperature for the rooms. They over used the heater and we had to ask to lower it. It still felt too warm. We asked them to open the room window but still it was too hot. The breakfast was very good with some room for improvement. The buffet looked cramped in an area of the restaurant. The location of some of the items wasn’t the most strategically. For instance, to grab some fruit you have to be practically on top of other items of the salad bar. People could literally breath on top of the food. Overall this hotel is great but it needs a major upgrade in the rooms and the wet area of the gym/pool. The showers there need some work. The steam room wasn’t working. Only the dry sauna worked. It need better cleaning as well
