Shops or restaurant aren't that available in the proximity of the hotel. The bathhouse facilities comprises of hot baths (2 for men, 1 for women), a sauna for both and in the communal area you can get free fruits and that's about it. For the price a good option.

Breakfast best reflects the location advantage. Since it is a single-family house, the food here is fried with gas, and there is no pre-prepared food. The taste is just good. I saw that the buns were freshly made in the morning, unlike many hotels in the city that can only use electricity to make pre-prepared dishes. In the morning, I took a taxi to Xishan Forest Park quickly, and in the afternoon, I took a bus from the hotel entrance to the Summer Palace (West Gate). It was a perfect autumn trip.
