Hotel located between Bogota and Cota in the heart of a large industrial area and the facts are indicated for those who travel to Bogota for work and not for tourism because because of traffic it is very challenging in terms of time to reach the center. The hotel is ideally located in the heart of the city, and is very comfortable and comfortable. The hotel is a little noisy and for this, I advise the high floors. I was the second floor and asked to be moved to the 5th floor. There is nothing in the area but a small shop and to move it is compulsory to use taxis that are not always easy to get.

The hotel Andes Plaza is a really great hotel. The friendly customer service was excellent. All at reception were very friendly. Briteman gave that extra special attention and service. He constantly checked on me making sure everything was good. He helped set up my covid test. I also received friendly service in the hotel restaurant. Everyone was so friendly giving great service. The breakfast every morning was outstanding. This was my second time to stay in Hotel Andea Plaza and plan to return there again someday soon. I highly recommend Hotel Andes Plaza. The hotel is safe hotel and at a great location.

We loved this hotel experience and even got to go back a second time during our time in Colombia. The hotel is up to date and the beds are very comfortable. The staff are friendly (Chris the bell hop is very caring) and polite. You can tell they take pride in ensuring your comfort. Service is quick either maintenance or in room dining. The nails salon is outdated and not what you would expect from the hotel, we did manicures and pedicures but the ladies were super nice and caring. The breakfast buffet is busy after 9am and hard to get served by wait staff...best to go around 7:30am-8am for the best experience. We booked transport through the hotel to go Ziper and was quoted 171,000 pesos or $44 usd, when we got back to the hotel the driver charged us $69usd because of the 3 hours ($24,000 pesos per extra hour) extra that we were stuck in traffic. Your best bet is to use Uber to travel around and rappi for food. We were surprised that we had to purchase swim caps for the pool which was mandatory. All in all I would definitely recommend staying here.

Some of the staff was very professional and friendly. Unfortunately, other staff was quite rude. For example, when I asked the gentleman at the front desk to copy my vaccine cards, he practically snatched them out of my hands without saying a word. After handing me my copies, he began to walk away while my cards were still sitting in the copy machine. I politely asked for ”mis tarjetas, por favor.” He walked back over, still silent, and I said simply, ”Esos son importantes.” He chuckled under his breath but still said nothing as he handed the cards back. It was as if he simply had no interest in bothering with them unless I asked. Then, after I paid for the copies, he went to look for my change (1,000 pesos). He then told me in an irritated tone that they didn't have any change. I simply said, ”No es importante.” Throughout the whole interaction, he acted very rushed and inconvenienced, as if I was imposing on him, and he never offered the slightest apology for forgetting my vaccine cards or not having any change. (They were not busy at the time; there were two people working behind the counter and no other guests in line. At least the other fellow was professional, unlike his colleague.) I'm aware that my Spanish is still at an intermediate level; however, if you're going to work in the hotel industry (down the street from the airport, in a capital city, no less), the least you could do is show some courtesy to your guests. (We don't have to speak Spanish to pick up on your passive aggressiveness.) Also, when I arrived there were no towels in the room. It took three requests over about 35-40 minutes to get some. Everyone I talked to seemed very professional and intent on taking care of it, but somehow no one delivered until the third attempt. It was surprising, actually, because the room was immaculate and perfectly made up, except for having no towels of any kind. I enjoyed my dinner a lot, and the lady who waited on me was gracious and patient when conversing with me in Spanish. The restaurant took a few minutes to find, as there are two buildings, each with their own lobby, and the fellow at reception who checked me in didn't mention anything about the restaurant.

This hotel and staff were the most kind, courteous, helpful, clean and family oriented - I mean they make you feel like family! I have spent many nights in hotels because of my line of business in real estate and I have NEVER loved a hotel experience like my ten days at this hotel. I never write reviews, good or bad. You cannot go wrong here. Tourists will understand when I say that feeling safe is a must, especially in another country. In the room there was a personalized safe to keep your valuables secure and the staff NEVER enter your room unless directed by guests. The rooms are spotless and fresh smelling, the staff is the hardest working, going beyond with every request - completely and always. This hotel was also the cleanest and best stocked with any amenity needed. My partner and I enjoyed the sanitized saunas, jacuzzis and gym - permitting us to create special long lasting memories! Come to Bogota and stay at this hotel; you will thank me. ＜3 We hope to stay here again, very soon. This is a great place for a basic stay. The breakfast is good. There is plenty of hot water, which you need in a chilly place like BOG. There is a little table with a couple of stools if you want to eat in your room. The bed is fine and so is the bathroom. The cleaning staff works hard. There is a TV that had CNN in Spanish, which I enjoyed. The area is good, near Chapinero. There is no safe in the room, but there are cameras in the hallway, and the reception will store your valuables. I don't know why anyone would ever complain about this place. Yes, the rooms are small, but it is a budget hotel. Perfect for sleeping, showering, and resting. It is clean and quiet too. It is by a hospital so no loud bars at night. I stayed in room 926 which was great. It was on a high floor room, and on the side of the building with an incredible view of the city, as the hotel is perched on a hill. AMAZING VIEW. The front desk is hardworking and friendly. The only downsides. I think there is central climate control. No thermostat in the room and no A/C in the room. No phone in the room so you need to personally go downstairs for anything. Also, the internet sometimes cut out. So someone coming to see me was trying to call me and the internet had cut out. Also, the internet would cut out and I would have to reconnect on my own when going from my room to the lobby. I knew it was a budget hotel with a small room so I knew there would be no fridge.

The room is big, the bathroom is big, the view outside the window is great, the breakfast is good, there are many Chinese people living here, it should be a good choice...

Good •Good breakfast. They made us a vegan breakfast, even when they don't normally offer vegan options; but it was the same every day. •Cleaning and daily amenities. (Although in the ”cons” I detail the issue of cleaning) •Excellent service. All the staff are more than helpful and resolutive. •The Internet connection is good and stable. We were working 8 hours a day and we had no problems. ATTENTION HERE because we asked to change a room with a better view and when they changed us, there was no internet, so we had to go back to where we were before. So, keep in mind that there are apartments with no Wi-Fi. •24h reception •Very quiet. There's no noise. This gave us a lot of quality of life and more coming from the noise hell that there was in the accommodation in Playa del Carmen. •Spacious. Enough space for storage and put the suitcases. •Good workspace. (desk and confortable chair) •Spa. However, there are restrictions to use the spa Bad: •The kitchen has less than the basics and that is a problem if you expect to cook during your stay because, even if you complain, they will not be able to bring you everything you need. In my case, for example, I needed a pasta strainer, bowls and a good knife and they said they didn't have them. •The gym is small and does not have much. •The apartments are cold and don’t have heating. The only way they solve it is by giving you a blanket. •Regarding cleanliness: I do not like that the floor of the room is covered by a carpet; also, the carpet was completely disgusting. In addition, the utensils they used to clean were more dirty than clean. The surfaces and the bathroom were always very clean, but the floors were not. It is very important to take care of cleaning, disinfection and vacuuming very well, especially when the accommodation accepts pets and considering that we are still living in a pandemic. In conclusion, we had a good stay although perhaps I would recommend it more for a short stay. By the end I was already a bit upset by the carpet and the little glitches. But for the offer that there is and the quality / price ratio that you can find, it is not bad. What is certain is that the hotel would gain a lot of potential if it remodeled the apartments (I think it needs urgent restoration).

We arrived at this hotel in the early hours of the morning (4am) after a long haul flight from the U.K. We were obviously very tired and check in was done very quickly and without any stress. We were taken up to our room which, on the face of it seemed spacious and nice, if a little tired, and went straight to bed. I can't fault the customer service, everyone was very professional, polite and welcoming. Disliked · As I showered the following morning, I noticed a dripping coming from the ceiling above the toilet and the ceiling was bowing. We agreed that once we were ready we would report this to reception. I was just drying my hair and there was a big whoosh and part of the ceiling came down! Luckily, no one was hurt but I am surprised that the housekeeping service had not picked up on the leak previously, as this had obviously been building up for some time! I called a lady from housekeeping who was along the corridor from us and she came and had a look and we were swiftly moved to another (not so nice) room that had a ceiling but we guessed had not been used for a while as smelt musty and when we ran the tap the water initially came out brown! It was the first day of our holiday and for the sake of one night didn't want to make a fuss! From our experience, the rooms badly need a refurb but the customer service we received was good.
