Excellent private beachfront resort, clean shoreline, perfect for snorkeling and lots of sunbeds to relax. Large pool and have 3 restaurants inside the resort. Has free shuttle service going to D’mall. Cleanliness of the resort including restrooms near the pool is excellent. Buffet breakfast is good with lots of choices to choose from. My daughter love the chocolate hour too. Excellent service from airport pickup until checkout. All staffs are friendly. Thank you Mövenpick for the wonderful stay!
Overall a disappointing stay with Crimson. It started off bad and really never improved sadly.
Our flight into Caticlan was delayed 5 hours, arriving at 19:30. I was in communication with Crimson throughout the delay updating them on our progress and estimated arrival time. They had warned me that they don’t organise transfers after 8pm. However, upon arrival they had left us to transit to the hotel via a third party provider. This provider was fine, and did their job, but it was a transfer that involved stopping at 3 other hotels - very much not the private 5 star experience we had been promised, taking 1 hour and a half. The fact they did not wait until 8pm, when other resorts were prepared and waiting, was a big disappointment. The transfer was eventually provided for free after our experience - which to be honest is the bare minimum. It’s insane I even had to pay for the transfer considering most 5 star hotels would provide this for free.
Whilst the rooms were fine, the service was extremely disappointing throughout. Check-in took ages, and for some reason there is no aircon in anywhere outside the restaurants and rooms, so we were stuck sweating after an 8 hour journey whilst waiting the 30 minutes to check in. Additionally, every single request we made was either ignored or took ages. I had requested decorations in the room to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday, but received nothing. I managed to get things organised whilst there, but after requesting matches to light a candle, these never arrived. Add on the fact we would have to request water multiple times before any showed up and it was all just very frustrating.
We had booked a sea view room, but were unable to fully enjoy it as it was located directly in front of the infinity pool, with guests able to see directly into the privacy of our bedroom due to the lack of any noticeable tinting on the windows. The rooms were also not soundproofed, and we had to wake up early every day to the sounds of screaming children using the pool in front of our room.
No amenities were on offer - no access to water bottles without requesting or paying, no access to coffee without paying, no welcome or departure drinks, no free water on the beach (which is seriously just dangerous).
Crimson certainly has a 5 star beach and sea. The access to the beach is superb and the sand and sea were typically excellent, but it’s not as if Crimson has control over these things. In fact despite the environmental fee, I regularly saw some litter in the sea and on the beach.
It felt very budget in the way they treat you. There are shuttles to the centre but these run almost every 3 hours and are often packed, offered on a first come first serve basis. Every little thing is charged too. For a check out at 12pm instead of 11am, it’s 2000PHP. There’s no way to charge anything to rooms to pay upon check out (like every other hotel) if you do not have a credit card. Debit cards are no good for the deposit apparently.
We just stayed at Piece Lio in El Nido, which was far far far superior.
It’s a real shame because Crimson does not do service to a terrific sea and stunning location. It may be the most modern 5 star hotel on the island but honestly just pay the extra and go to the Shangri-La.
It’s almost as if they knew how bad it was. We weren’t even asked how our stay was upon checking out, as if they were dreading the answer. It felt like an American diner leaving, where they just wanted us out the room as quickly as possible to make space for their next cash cow. We even arrived at the airport 3 hours early for a domestic flight for some reason.
Location’s a bit far from white beach but the hotel’s shuttle is super accessible. It’s walking distance to puka, diniwid, and balinghai beach for those who want adventure. Also a short tric ride away from the famous keyhole. Everyone’s really accommodating and nice, the place is super peaceful, and the food is great (big servings for a reasonable price). Would highly recommend the hotel for anyone who wants some privacy. Really enjoyed our trip!

A wonderful villa, excellent view of Boracay south sea.. woke up daily to see the sunrise 🌅 with wonderful view of the islands across the sea… the service was excellent, especially Ms Arlene who was assigned to our Villa.. she made our stay a more than just pleasant one 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
The location may not be very accessible.. please book a Trike to bring both yourself + luggages to their main gate.. else you may need to carry them across many high and lows slopes.. my luggage broke 2 wheels due to this lack of knowledge 👌🏼.. but don’t let this affect the wonderful experience in store at One Hagden Villa 👍🏼👍🏼
My stay at The Orient Beach Boracay was quite pleasant overall. The staff here are exceptionally friendly and approachable, which made the experience enjoyable. The amenities provided were also quite good. However, the main drawback is the distance from the Boracay stations. Although they offer a free shuttle service, it's limited to assigned times for pick-up and drop-off. This might not be ideal for those who enjoy late-night parties every night, as transportation within the island can be pricey. Overall, a great stay with some considerations to keep in mind.

Excessive use, no overnight, fairly clean, industrial style, tatami feel, is a double bed and a single bed, the price is better, but the surrounding are to be built, or under construction, this is the Philippines There is a hotel in the ruins, which is very magical. The sound of an electric drill in the afternoon is a bit annoying. ? Sound insulation is also worrying ... Excessive, not recommended for continuous living

Wow! What a place. Had the most incredible time here over almost two weeks. The staff were incredible helpful. The manager Ricky was a top lad and always went to try and make your experience that little bit better. The girls working on the front desks alongside all those in the kitchen really helped. Shoutout to the security guy on being welcoming too. Great facilities but it would be better with the info being better but I guess it’s a tiny island so you only have to work with what you’ve got. A lot of special nights were out on like Chinese New Year and Australia Day celebrations. It’s right next door to mad monkey if you want to have a few beers at chill out then head there a little later is what I’d recommend rather than going to MM early and being in your bed before sunset. Met the most crazy and caring people there and it was a really friendly environment. Would totally recommend and as for the cost then it was very reasonable. Would like to see them introduce a credit system at the bar so you can keep a tab of what you’ve spent but also makes it easier than having a inch of small coins in your pocket. Beautiful place with great people. Would 100% go back .

Stayed there for 5 days and 4 night . The staff we're great . If you love to meet new people specially foreign one this would be a good choice. Though I am not , but I pretty have a great stay there so a big thumps up. They also activities everynight/everyday. I absolutely love the Karaoke night, It's Monday by the way ( yehey!!!) , I guess this is the only night on the hotel that I had contribution to the noise pollution ( a little bit kidding ) 😅😅😅. Though the foods is a but pricey but quiet very good . Oh a big thank you to Haze and Kai ( I am not sure if I spell it out right ). Thank you for assisting and I guess for listening to our after hour request . Always stay cool and friendly. Will definitely recommend this and will definitely want to stay there again .

The location is perfect. Close to White Beach and in the heart of it all. The rooms are very clean and modern. Breakfast isn’t buffet style and you pre order the night before what you want which we found a bit odd. Lots of house rules do’s and don’ts and silly extra charges for beach towels/ replacement clean beach towels. But staff were very helpful and polite and made us feel welcome
