CCharsiubaoooThe location is on the edge of the city center and it's extremely clean. The balcony offers views of the Tasman Bridge, and it was a pleasant surprise to find daily housekeeping services. We arrived late at night and appreciated the self check-in option. The only downsides were having just one bathroom, located on the second floor, which made going up and down a bit inconvenient. The kitchen facilities were limited to a microwave and an induction hob, with no oven or dishwasher. Also, finding parking after watching the sunset in the evening was a bit of a struggle. However, overall, we were very satisfied with our stay.

GGuest UserThis hotel is really great value for money. Location is excellent. The popular pigeon whole baker and The Still whisky bar are just a few steps away. There is also a Woolsworth within a few mins walk. The hotel and room are modern and have a great vibe. Some rooms have a nice harbour view n we were lucky to have one. Service is also responsive and friendly. Do note that the parking offered is around 270m from the hotel and costs A$35 per day.

GGuest UserWhile it’s located a bit far away from the CBD (~15 mins walk, with slope), the amenities were sufficient, just like a small apartment. Quiet environment, good for resting and sleep. Easy access to a supermarket nearby. The bed was a bit too soft for me. Housekeeping every day. However, there were lots of ants around the bathtub and a spider hanging on the ceiling of the bathroom in an early morning! I informed the reception staff to remark and clean my bathroom asap when they are open (the front desk not open for 24 hours but receptionist reachable by room intercom call). They have dealt with the issue for me and responded quickly. The staff there were helpful and friendly. They helped me to book a local taxi to the airport at early morning (cheaper than uber).

GGuest UserThe facilities were clean and tidy. The only downside was that I had completed the check-in process in the morning, but when I returned in the evening, it hadn't been done. At the previous hotel (Grand Chancellor Hobart), they even brought our luggage to the room with a similar process. Also, due to other cars in front of the hotel, the parking lot was very difficult to access. I couldn't figure out how to adjust the room's air conditioning, so it got cold in the early morning. Additionally, there weren't many TV services (which I wanted for the kids). I think this would be a very comfortable hotel for a regular trip.

UuyoacSince other room types were fully booked, I ended up reserving a motel-style room in the annex building. The annex doesn't have an elevator and you have to walk down, which initially felt a bit eerie. However, I later found out the room had a window facing a courtyard, so it turned out to be okay. The facilities are quite basic and dated, but the water pressure is good and the price is relatively cheap. The best part is the free parking (parking on the second level is the most convenient).

One of the highlights of our mornings was breakfast at Peppina, the hotel's on-site restaurant. The breakfast menu featured a delightful array of options, from freshly baked pastries to hearty, made-to-order dishes. Each meal was prepared with care and presented beautifully, making it a pleasure to start our day. The atmosphere at Peppina was equally inviting, with a charming decor that complemented the delicious food, creating a perfect setting for a leisurely breakfast.
In the evenings, we enjoyed drinks at Mary Mary, another fantastic venue within the hotel. The bar had a vibrant yet relaxed ambiance, making it an ideal spot to unwind after a day of exploring. The cocktail menu was impressive, featuring both classic favorites and innovative creations crafted by skilled mixologists. Each drink we ordered was expertly made and beautifully garnished, adding to the overall experience.
Overall, our stay at the Tasman Luxury Hotel was a true testament to hospitality at its finest. The combination of exceptional service from Tayla and Ebony, along with delightful dining experiences at Peppina and Mary Mary, created a memorable getaway that we will cherish for a long time. We left feeling rejuvenated and grateful for the outstanding care we received throughout our visit.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location is excellent, right in the city center. The room is spacious, perfect for families. However, the shower area in the bathroom isn't properly enclosed, causing water to spill out. At night, there was extremely loud music that seriously disturbed our rest, only stopping around 1 AM. On the bright side, the view from the hotel window is beautiful.

YYuyijintianyekaixinlemaLocation-wise, it's super convenient. You can walk to most of the downtown sightseeing spots for a city walk, and there are bus stops nearby. It's also easy to get to the pick-up points for various day tours.
As for facilities, the rooms are generally clean and tidy. There's a coin-operated washer and dryer available. A little tip: if you're coming from overseas, bring your own laundry detergent, as it costs two dollars per wash here. Washing is four dollars, and drying is also four dollars. Inside the room, you'll find a microwave, hot water kettle, and a fridge. The gym is a bit small but sufficient for a quick workout. Breakfast is pretty standard Western fare.
One thing to note: the beds are particularly soft. If you're sharing a king-size room with someone, make sure to emphasize that you need two duvets, otherwise, you'll have to get an extra blanket from the front desk.
The staff are mostly friendly and communicate primarily in English.
Overall, I'd still recommend it.

MMattyFThe bed was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was very large too. It was all clean. Most guest rooms are in annexes, with reception and dining in the old building (old for Oz, anyway) which boasts a bit of style. Breakfast was quite good but items such as bacon and scrambled eggs did not stay very hot about the buffet. I liked the sourdough. Reception was prompt and professional. Now the minor dislikes: it’s a good 30 minute walk from the CBD / waterfront, up a bit of hill all the way. (There is an area with plenty of bars etc about half way). I walked several times a day and it was OK. Most guests will have cars though. The living area in the room needed a TV. If there can only be one TV per room, it would be better there than in front of the bed in my opinion. Finally, one of the two wardrobes is locked up, presumably to store linen etc. The other only has hanging space so there was no shelving. I felt a little cheated that half of “my” potential wardrobe space was denied to me! On balance, I would consider staying again, even though it is a little way out of town. Overall it is large, clean, comfortable and manages a little style.
