Mövenpick Hotel Hobart

The room was spacious. I chose the accessible 35 sqm room, and the bathroom was also very large. Breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays starts at 7 AM and includes an à la carte option, which you can see in the first picture – it was pretty good. It's very close to a nearby park to see platypuses, only 700 meters away, but I didn't spot any. Salamanca Market isn't far either, less than a kilometer away, and you can try the seafood there; the portions are really generous. Elizabeth Pier is right there too, and I even saw seals! Near the hotel, there's a Woolworths, as well as Nepalese, Chinese, and Thai restaurants, all worth trying. If you're taking an Uber from or to the airport, make sure to tell the driver to drop you off at the front door, otherwise, it might pinpoint the back door, and you'd have to go down stairs to get to the hotel. Just something to keep in mind. Overall, it was a good stay, and the hotel front desk staff were helpful.

The toilet had a bit of a smell when flushed. The room size was decent, but there was no water in the room itself; I had to go to the gym to get some. I'm not sure if this is common in Australia. Google Maps guided me to the back entrance when I was driving there, and I thought I had gone to the wrong place.

So glad my friends and I chose this hotel for our two-night stay. The king-size bed in the room was incredibly comfortable, and the bedding was clean and soft, ensuring a great night's sleep. The overall hygiene was excellent, and the facilities were very well-equipped.
