The internet connection in the room was broken and I couldn't watch TV programs. The hotel didn't apologize at all. Disadvantages: The stairs from the underground parking lot to the hotel lobby are narrow and it is inconvenient to carry luggage. There is no elevator on the first floor to reach the lobby. The hotel is close to the train station and is close to the airport. The sound of landing planes and train noise is a bit noisy.

The hardware facilities in the room are OK, and the location is good. There are many restaurants around, but the management and maintenance are too poor. One of the toothbrushes was opened, I don't know if it was used by the previous guest. There was only a little toothpaste, which was gone after one use. The toilet was noisy, and you had to flush it manually. The front door could not be locked. The most important thing is that there are too few parking spaces, which are full as soon as the hotel guests occupy them. The security guard at the door asked me to find a parking space on the roadside outside. Finally, I would like to remind you again that if you book a room with check-in after 10 pm, you must pay the price difference if you want to check in earlier than 10 pm.

I decided to take this hotel in the first high school entrance examination. It is very close to the first high school. It can be reached in 10 minutes on foot. The price has not soared, and it is very suitable. The hotel also provides a breakfast and lunch order service very intimately. Dinner can also be eaten in the restaurant on the first floor. IIGreat location, quiet neighborhood but not far from the center. The room is clean , comfortable and has the atmosphere of an old traditional home. It is the service that needs significant improvement to warrant the current four star rating. The price was for two people and yet, there was one tea bag per person, a very small roll of toilet paper and the facial tissue bixes were almost empty. The breakfast was no better: ine boiled egg, a small bun, a bowl of sweet porridge and a tiny slice (about one tenth) of a sweet potato and a root vegetable, with a tiny portion of pickled cabbage. For a mainland B&B well below standard. What’s more, the old nan who was on duty in the morning would pick up dirt from the floor while handling food with bare hands and had trouble finding toilet paper in the storage room while I waited outside in freezing weather. The host is friendly and helped with orientation and organizing transfers to the railway station, so with little improvement in service this could be a good choice for Pingyao.

We only had one and half days to tour pingyao and the hotel staff were very helpful in recommending a half day guided tour with buggy transport to various sites in Pingyao Guchen. They also helped us to link up with a tour agency to book a day tour to Wang Jia Da Yuan and Hukou waterfall. The staff helped us to book tickets to the show，又见平遥， and shuttled us to the venue after the half day tour. Because of their excellent recommendations and service, we managed to enjoy the sights and culture of Pingyao within one and half days.
The hotel is in a beautiful traditional courtyard. Newly renovated. The room is very clean with modern amenities. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast is hearty.
We also love the free transfer from high speed rail station to hotel and return. Highly recommended!

The hotel is housed in a thoughtfully renovated ancient college with a beautiful courtyard for chatting, eating, and chilling. The rooms are large, clean, and quiet. I really enjoyed the traditional mat style bed.
The hotel is a short walk away from the bustling Main Street. It was very convenient to walk to most attractions inside the walled City. The hotel owner also arranged free transport to take me to the high speed rail station.
The service was wonderful. No complaints!
If you’re staying here, I recommend checking out not just the ancient walled city but also the ancient temples in the area.
I would stay here again without hesitation.

RRinMMReally love the hotel’s a**osphere. It is cool both scenery and weather. There aren’t much noice and people around the hotel, a little walk and you will reach some of the tourist’s attraction. Some employees can speak english or if not, wechat is the best help. They also booked taxi and drop us off by the taxi, the service was wonderful. Will stay here again if there’s a chance of visiting.

The weather changed on the day we came, about minus 15 degrees. The hotel owner picked us up from the parking lot outside the city in a tricycle and sent us there when we left. The flower rolls are steamed by yourself, which are delicious and filling. Pingyao Ancient City is an ancient city that was developed earlier. It is famous, but disappointing. The management of the entire ancient city is relatively chaotic, the hygiene is not optimistic, and most of the houses are shabby, and some are even dangerous. It is very unreasonable to set the light show at 9 o'clock in the evening, and the South City Gate is closed. If you want to watch it, you need to go around a long circle in the cold wind.
