Zhenyuan County Hotels with Breakfast

Traveling by car, the front desk staff helped me park it for free. I didn't even have to touch my luggage; the front desk brought it all to my room. The room was super clean, with all smart facilities, and a really comfortable balcony overlooking the river. In the evening, I enjoyed the river breeze, had a cigarette, and savored the unique charm of the ancient town. The room also had a hot spring bath, so I bought a bath bomb and had a really relaxing soak. The bed was incredibly comfortable, especially the pillows! It's clear the owner is very thoughtful and genuinely cares about their guests. In the morning, the owner invited us to tea and explained the history and attractions of the ancient town. The owner is clearly very passionate about their hometown and a perfectionist. It felt like I was treated like an old friend here. Highly recommend!

On our travels, we always hope to find a place that's not just a stopover, but a temporary 'home' for the soul. And this time, I truly found it. Pushing open that door was like stepping into another world. Every corner showed thoughtful care, with no excessive, flashy decorations, but rather a clean, comfortable quality. Time here seemed to slow down. Even more important was the moment I opened the window – that view instantly made me forget the fatigue of travel. Distant mountains were like painted eyebrows, and nearby waters hazy with mist. Whether it was dawn or dusk, the window frame was like a natural picture frame, and every glance was healing. But what truly made it hard to leave was the 'human touch' here. Every staff member was attentive and warm, and the service was absolutely top-notch. A greeting, a reminder – each made a warm wave ripple through my heart. I'll definitely be back.

This has become my favorite hotel! I've always loved these grand courtyard estates, but I've never truly experienced one as a 'host,' taking my time to savor and enjoy it up close. When I first saw photos of the hotel, I thought it looked small, but that was just the angle. First off, the rooms are huge, and they even come with a balcony – perfect for enjoying tea and just unwinding. It's absolutely wonderful! As for the courtyard, the one you see in pictures is just one of them; in reality, it's a 'three-entry, three-exit' courtyard complex! Each section is unique and incredibly picturesque. I later found out from a staff member that this is actually a century-old historical residence, now managed by the county's culture and tourism bureau and transformed into the area's finest courtyard-style guesthouse. If you love this kind of style, you absolutely have to check it out!

The views are fantastic, and the environment is lovely. They even have a service chat group that provides travel tips. The young woman at the front desk was very helpful, always assisting with check-ins and outs, and even carrying my luggage. The only minor downside is that the toilet faces directly towards the building opposite. Other than that, everything else was great.

The room is quite large, right by the Wuyang River. It's very pleasant to watch the night view of Zhenyuan Ancient Town from the balcony. I saw the unique ”evil ways” of Zhenyuan. The proprietress is very kind and recommended restaurants for locals at affordable prices. She also gave us some fruit when we checked in and was able to help us with any needs. The proprietress also paid for parking after we checked in. Although the fee was not much, it was very heartwarming. I recommend staying here.

Our entire stay was a five-star experience! The guesthouse's decor created a wonderful atmosphere, exuding elegance and charm at every turn. The rooms were spacious, and the hot water supply in the bathroom was consistent, making daily routines very convenient. Having an elevator meant no effort was needed to get around, and the free parking was a huge relief. You can go fishing for fun or relax and catch up on shows in the audio-visual room. The staff were friendly and even patiently shared local travel tips. The value for money far exceeded our expectations, and we'll definitely choose this place again next time.

This guesthouse is fantastic! The floor-to-ceiling windows offer amazing views, making it so relaxing and comfortable. The bedding is also very comfortable and super clean. The toiletries are good too; I even used the body lotion as hand cream, which was a nice touch. The 6th-floor observation deck provides panoramic views – absolutely stunning! 👏🏻😁 There's an elevator, which is a huge plus for those traveling with a lot of luggage. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but it's very refined and offers a perfect start to the day. Highly recommend – excellent value for money!(*´・ｖ・)

The owner was incredibly warm and insisted on treating us to dinner and drinks on New Year's Eve! The room was clean and tidy, and the air conditioning worked perfectly! The cats and dogs downstairs were super friendly and clingy; as soon as we sat down, we were surrounded by them! Breakfast was absolutely delicious! We'll definitely be back next summer!

We have a wonderful stay after a long ride from Guiyang. Received by a sweet and helpful young girl who help us with our itinerary before we start going around the old town. Her reply to our WeChat queries is always immediate whenever we have issue. We are so thankful to the young boss who upgrade our stay and he shared with us about ZhenYuan. He also help us to book our ride to Kaili. Will visit ZhenYuan again for the next Dragon Boat Festival.

The Owner is Kind, Beautiful, and Provides Top-Notch Service: 1) The owner called in advance to inquire about my arrival time and provided helpful tips. 2) Because I was unfamiliar with local traffic regulations, the owner patiently called to guide me throughout my stay, even using their electric scooter to help me park and charge my devices. 3) During my stay, I also experienced attentive service, with the owner patiently explaining the best travel routes and points to note. This is my first heartfelt review on this platform. The owner's exceptional service motivated me to write this review, as I hope such a kind person will be seen by more people. Highly recommended!
