I was so happy with the drink bar in the lobby, which included alcoholic beverages, and the all-you-can-eat snacks!
I also enjoyed playing table tennis, billiards, and other games!
I think this is the perfect place to check in early and relax.

TravelbugXOur stay at Sun Urashima Yuki no Sato was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and impeccable hospitality that made us feel truly special.
The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered breathtaking views of Toba Bay. Waking up to the peaceful ocean scenery each morning was incredibly relaxing. The onsen was equally impressive—immaculately maintained, soothing, and the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring.
The kaiseki dinner and breakfast were exceptional. Every dish showcased the freshness of the local seafood and seasonal ingredients, with each course thoughtfully presented. Dining here wasn’t just a meal—it was an experience.
What stood out most was the attention to detail. Every staff member went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable, from the seamless check-in to the thoughtful service throughout our visit. You can genuinely feel the pride they take in providing outstanding hospitality.
If you’re looking for an authentic luxury ryokan experience with amazing food, stunning views, and unforgettable service, Sun Urashima Yuki no Sato is absolutely worth the visit. We left feeling refreshed and already looking forward to returning someday.

All the staff except for the front desk staff were foreigners, but they all spoke excellent Japanese and provided friendly and polite service.
After dinner, I went to the bath. The hot water in the washing area gradually cooled down as I used it, and eventually stopped flowing altogether, so I quickly warmed up in the bathtub. There was no hot water for rinsing off when I got out, which made me quite cold.
In the washing area, another guest asked me, ”There's no hot water, is there? The bath in my room doesn't have hot water either, and when I contacted the front desk, they told me to use the public bath...” So, I wonder if it's a problem with the facilities? Incidentally, my husband, who bathed before dinner, said the men's bath was fine.

This is a hotel only five minutes from Tokuba Station. Tokuba Station has Kintetsu and JR at the same time, and there is a pier to Dolphin Island. The hotel is five minutes in the other direction of the aquarium and Zhenzhu Island. The other direction is 5 minutes, which is the main recommended restaurants on the Internet. The boss is very good. Although breakfast is not included, the boss will prepare two rice balls per person for passengers to eat on the way every morning. There are small dried fish, meat foam, dried plum, dried plum and other flavors. Every day lunch is solved by this rice ball. The room helped me upgrade all to a room with a separate bathroom. There is a bath on the top floor. Except for weekends, I am the only one who is soaking, it is simply a private soup.

MeiyaBecause I was traveling alone, I booked a single executive suite. The hotel facilities were relatively old and there were basically no services, but the old-fashioned open-air baths and large public baths had the flavor of the Showa period. I must try the bath on the 7th floor to offset the fatigue of the trip. The most gratifying thing was that the hotel breakfast was very good. The sea bream sashimi and rice were very solid, the butter-fried baguettes were also very soft, and the coffee was very delicious. I suggest you try breakfast if you come. The hotel is within walking distance of the surrounding attractions and restaurants. Although the road to the hotel is more than 1 kilometer, the scenery is great and you can reach it leisurely by walking.

JINGKintetsu Toba Station has an exit that is specially used for pick-up from various hotels. It is very convenient. There were several Chinese-speaking waiters in the hotel, the communication was smooth, the Japanese waiters were very enthusiastic, and I also helped print the ticket reservations I needed. Children like Japanese-style rooms, can see the sea view, dinner is a set of meals, different prices, things are different. The location of the room in Ctrip is relatively poor.

Guest UserThe service is really not that good! No one took the luggage when entering. There was no one at the counter during dinner time, so I had to wait for a long time. The two waiters at breakfast saw our family of three waiting at the door and refused to take our seats. Asking where I can do it was extremely perfunctory! This kind of service is definitely the worst in Japan! I was really lucky to stay for just one night!
