Toba Hotels with Breakfast

Our stay at Sun Urashima Yuki no Sato was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and impeccable hospitality that made us feel truly special. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered breathtaking views of Toba Bay. Waking up to the peaceful ocean scenery each morning was incredibly relaxing. The onsen was equally impressive—immaculately maintained, soothing, and the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. The kaiseki dinner and breakfast were exceptional. Every dish showcased the freshness of the local seafood and seasonal ingredients, with each course thoughtfully presented. Dining here wasn’t just a meal—it was an experience. What stood out most was the attention to detail. Every staff member went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable, from the seamless check-in to the thoughtful service throughout our visit. You can genuinely feel the pride they take in providing outstanding hospitality. If you’re looking for an authentic luxury ryokan experience with amazing food, stunning views, and unforgettable service, Sun Urashima Yuki no Sato is absolutely worth the visit. We left feeling refreshed and already looking forward to returning someday.

The hotel is very overpriced for an old facility.  We booked an oceanview room but the windows are blocked with bars and can barely be opened.  Our room on the second floor could barely see the ocean.  Furniture and decoration scream OLD.   Most front desk workers are not Japanese.  They claim to have an ”international crew” but the problem is they don't know much about Japan.  When we asked the doorman about taking trains, he didn't have a crew because he just got to Japan from another Asian country.  On the other hand, the restaurants only have Japanese workers and no one speaks English.  We booked an 8-course dinner.  The chef was going around to explain the dishes to guests but just left us when he found out we don't speak Japanese.  The menu is in Japanese only.   This hotel also charged us at 135:1 foreign exchange rate while all other hotels charged 142-144:1 JPY-USD.  It's not a foreigner friendly hotel and way overpriced for what it is.

Although it's newly renovated and clean, the air freshener sprayed in the hallway was so strong it was toxic. I had to cover my nose every time I walked through. The buffet offered a variety of dishes to enjoy. There was plenty of seafood, but the quality was rather low. The cakes tasted very much like frozen cakes, and I wish there were more varieties of fruit. The staff who spoke excellent Japanese were very friendly and pleasant! The guy at the front desk needs to try harder. The amenities were plentiful, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches like the welcome tea.

This is a hotel only five minutes from Tokuba Station. Tokuba Station has Kintetsu and JR at the same time, and there is a pier to Dolphin Island. The hotel is five minutes in the other direction of the aquarium and Zhenzhu Island. The other direction is 5 minutes, which is the main recommended restaurants on the Internet. The boss is very good. Although breakfast is not included, the boss will prepare two rice balls per person for passengers to eat on the way every morning. There are small dried fish, meat foam, dried plum, dried plum and other flavors. Every day lunch is solved by this rice ball. The room helped me upgrade all to a room with a separate bathroom. There is a bath on the top floor. Except for weekends, I am the only one who is soaking, it is simply a private soup.

There are so many kinds of dishes that I can't eat. and it was a wonderful dish that looked beautiful. The staff 々 was all feeling good and crisp The bath was both open-air and indoor, and the skin was smooth, and even when I returned to the room, my body was always warm. The room was calm as HP and the view from the window was good

The room was very clean, the staff were very friendly, and the dinner was very rich and delicious. The room faces the sea and has a beautiful view.

Although it was deep in the mountains, there was a bus from the station so it was easy to access. Because it's on top of a mountain, the views are amazing and you can see beautiful sunsets and sunrises!

It was a really grateful inn because it was near the tourist spots I wanted to go to such as Ise Jingu shrine and Yokoyama Observatory, and I could stay with my family with my dog! Also, I was very grateful to the inn 々 for being kind to us, of course, and to the dog!

The service is really not that good! No one took the luggage when entering. There was no one at the counter during dinner time, so I had to wait for a long time. The two waiters at breakfast saw our family of three waiting at the door and refused to take our seats. Asking where I can do it was extremely perfunctory! This kind of service is definitely the worst in Japan! I was really lucky to stay for just one night!

the food is nice and presentable...unique style..but i'm with my son so i hope they wil also think if the food will suit to my son..and the page is a scam.. sorry..no sauna and karaoke
