LLobbAs expected from a hotel with such history and tradition, it's truly wonderful. The service is, of course, excellent, and the French dinner was superb. Breakfast is a buffet, and it can feel a bit rushed due to the crowds, but there's plenty to enjoy. The onsen (bath) is a bit of a walk, but it's very good. I was surprised by how many foreigners there were, and it was interesting to see them all wearing yukata and seemingly accustomed to the onsen experience. The photo is of Toba Bay, visible from my room.

The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered breathtaking views of Toba Bay. Waking up to the peaceful ocean scenery each morning was incredibly relaxing. The onsen was equally impressive—immaculately maintained, soothing, and the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring.
The kaiseki dinner and breakfast were exceptional. Every dish showcased the freshness of the local seafood and seasonal ingredients, with each course thoughtfully presented. Dining here wasn’t just a meal—it was an experience.
What stood out most was the attention to detail. Every staff member went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable, from the seamless check-in to the thoughtful service throughout our visit. You can genuinely feel the pride they take in providing outstanding hospitality.
If you’re looking for an authentic luxury ryokan experience with amazing food, stunning views, and unforgettable service, Sun Urashima Yuki no Sato is absolutely worth the visit. We left feeling refreshed and already looking forward to returning someday.

It was said that the platform was wrong. Because the hotel is remote, there is no restaurant nearby. The convenience store is more than ten kilometers away. If you don't like his private style, I believe you will not consider this hotel. The hotel itself is no problem, it should be that the platform information of the trip is wrong, the picture does not match, disappointed.

Fflying98This is a hotel only five minutes from Tokuba Station. Tokuba Station has Kintetsu and JR at the same time, and there is a pier to Dolphin Island. The hotel is five minutes in the other direction of the aquarium and Zhenzhu Island. The other direction is 5 minutes, which is the main recommended restaurants on the Internet. The boss is very good. Although breakfast is not included, the boss will prepare two rice balls per person for passengers to eat on the way every morning. There are small dried fish, meat foam, dried plum, dried plum and other flavors. Every day lunch is solved by this rice ball. The room helped me upgrade all to a room with a separate bathroom. There is a bath on the top floor. Except for weekends, I am the only one who is soaking, it is simply a private soup.

Good service staff The room is ok, clean, good view, convenient parking. The onsen is good, both indoor and outdoor, but the floor is very slippery. Both in the pond and the walkway to take a bath. In the morning, there are alternate rooms, which is bigger and more comfortable.

I was a little bothered by the conversations people were making in the hallway that were getting into my room!
The food selection is wide, but I wish it was of high quality.
I'm not happy with cheap and bad food anymore.
The bath water was lukewarm. I'd like a sink and bubbles.
Overall it was good!

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a very good location, close to the bus stop, and only a few steps to the beach. They have free shuttle bus from the hotel to Toba station at 9.00 and 10 a.m. The staff are accommodating and some speak some English.
The area is very beautiful and peaceful but very local. If you are planning a trip here make sure you stock up snacks from the convenient stores because there are no 7-11, Lawson, or any Family Mart within walking distance. If you would like to have breakfast and dinner at a hotel please inform them when you make booking or a few days in advance. People are very nice but language can be a barrier.

JJunichiBecause it is an old inn, about half of the beach in front of you is the area of this inn. I was able to fish as it was from the room on the first floor, had a fishing raft for myself, and there was a root of Yakusugi that said that there was only one in Japan. The building itself is old, so it smelled like the Showa era, but it would be good for those who like such an inn. The meal was very rich in seafood and I was satisfied.
