Our stay at Sun Urashima Yuki no Sato was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and impeccable hospitality that made us feel truly special. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered breathtaking views of Toba Bay. Waking up to the peaceful ocean scenery each morning was incredibly relaxing. The onsen was equally impressive—immaculately maintained, soothing, and the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. The kaiseki dinner and breakfast were exceptional. Every dish showcased the freshness of the local seafood and seasonal ingredients, with each course thoughtfully presented. Dining here wasn’t just a meal—it was an experience. What stood out most was the attention to detail. Every staff member went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable, from the seamless check-in to the thoughtful service throughout our visit. You can genuinely feel the pride they take in providing outstanding hospitality. If you’re looking for an authentic luxury ryokan experience with amazing food, stunning views, and unforgettable service, Sun Urashima Yuki no Sato is absolutely worth the visit. We left feeling refreshed and already looking forward to returning someday.

The hotel is very overpriced for an old facility.  We booked an oceanview room but the windows are blocked with bars and can barely be opened.  Our room on the second floor could barely see the ocean.  Furniture and decoration scream OLD.   Most front desk workers are not Japanese.  They claim to have an ”international crew” but the problem is they don't know much about Japan.  When we asked the doorman about taking trains, he didn't have a crew because he just got to Japan from another Asian country.  On the other hand, the restaurants only have Japanese workers and no one speaks English.  We booked an 8-course dinner.  The chef was going around to explain the dishes to guests but just left us when he found out we don't speak Japanese.  The menu is in Japanese only.   This hotel also charged us at 135:1 foreign exchange rate while all other hotels charged 142-144:1 JPY-USD.  It's not a foreigner friendly hotel and way overpriced for what it is.

Although it's newly renovated and clean, the air freshener sprayed in the hallway was so strong it was toxic. I had to cover my nose every time I walked through. The buffet offered a variety of dishes to enjoy. There was plenty of seafood, but the quality was rather low. The cakes tasted very much like frozen cakes, and I wish there were more varieties of fruit. The staff who spoke excellent Japanese were very friendly and pleasant! The guy at the front desk needs to try harder. The amenities were plentiful, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches like the welcome tea.

The information provided by the trip platform was wrong. I originally booked a room with a private style. When I checked-in, I was told that we didn’t book this room. It was said that the platform was wrong. Because the hotel is remote, there is no restaurant nearby. The convenience store is more than ten kilometers away. If you don't like his private style, I believe you will not consider this hotel. The hotel itself is no problem, it should be that the platform information of the trip is wrong, the picture does not match, disappointed.

The view from the bath was great. The breakfast was also substantial and delicious. Compared to other luxury inns, it is reasonably priced, but the service and facilities were satisfactory enough to make me wonder how low the score on Google Maps was. I would like to stay again if I have another chance.

Because the reservation is close and it is a weekend, the price is high. Therefore there are not many options. But it is better than I thought. Good service staff The room is ok, clean, good view, convenient parking. The onsen is good, both indoor and outdoor, but the floor is very slippery. Both in the pond and the walkway to take a bath. In the morning, there are alternate rooms, which is bigger and more comfortable.

There are so many kinds of dishes that I can't eat. and it was a wonderful dish that looked beautiful. The staff 々 was all feeling good and crisp The bath was both open-air and indoor, and the skin was smooth, and even when I returned to the room, my body was always warm. The room was calm as HP and the view from the window was good

The room was comfortable, the dinner was very plentiful, and the staff were very welcoming. I was very satisfied with my stay. The only downside was the slightly remote location, but that wasn't a big problem for those driving.

Silver scale is a magical cuisine homestay. I have been tangling whether to write his evaluation. I am afraid that there will be too many tourists behind, and now there are Japanese guests. Basically no foreign tourists. This famous hotel knows that it is a cuisine-based homestay. The room is very traditional Japanese style, and there are seven rooms in the homestay. Although the equipment is not new, it is very clean. The mattress on the tatami is particularly good to sleep, and the quilt is also very warm. There is also an outdoor bathing pool in the homestay, and there is also a bathtub in the room to take a bath. Everything is needed, the homestay includes breakfast and dinner (not including drinks). We stayed for two dinners and basically did not repeat. Every meal has surprises. Let alone the taste is very good, the freshness of the ingredients is enough to cover all the deliciousness. Especially his roasted salmon head. That seasoning is really a must, delicious, sashimi, carbon grilled shell snails, crayfish, abalone, delicious taste, with iced beer, or today's sake 🍶, it is simply an enjoyable gout meal, really a big enjoyment. After eating, go for a soup. After soaking back to the room, the mattress was also laid. You can sleep beautifully. The boss is 81 years old. It is a enthusiastic boss with a silver hair. I am also willing to communicate with the guests very enthusiastically. The proprietress does not speak English, so you can use more hands and feet to talk to the proprietress.
