Guest UserThe hotel front desk staff were friendly, and there was a Chinese-speaking attendant, so language wasn't an issue. The room was spacious, clean, bright, and luxurious! They even provided beautiful complimentary refreshments! The view from the window was especially good, with the clouds in the mountains below us. It's a shame the weather wasn't great during our stay, as it was very foggy.

joanyeeThe room was clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and it wasn't noisy, so I slept really well. I'd definitely stay here again. There's plenty of food downstairs, and it gets lively at night with Malaysian food stalls and rickshaws, plus a McDonald's. If you're looking for Bak Kut Teh, there's a great and affordable place downstairs. I will definitely stay here again.

This is my third time staying here.
When I come to Genting, I only stay at this hotel. The air is good, it's cool, and the hotel is grand. Breakfast is decent; I always load up on the salad bar. The only downside is that the activities are a bit pricey. I saw they're fixing the elevators, so I guess next time I come, I'll be able to go straight to the outlets via elevator!
In the evening, sitting by the pool with a fresh juice is just delightful.

Guest UserThe room was great, very new, clean, no strange odors, and the bedding was comfortable. They even provided body lotion.
Breakfast was semi-buffet style with limited choices. I forgot that breakfast was included with the room and thought it was an extra charge, so I skipped it the second day, which felt like a bit of a waste.
The surrounding area is a mixed bag. The view from the window was nice, with high-rise buildings visible on the mountain top. However, there's a lot of construction going on nearby, and passing cars can kick up a lot of dust in some areas. Our room didn't overlook much of the construction, but it was quite noisy in the mornings with the sounds of building work.
Getting around wasn't very convenient, especially going to the top of the Highland mountain. It was hard to get a taxi back. We walked from Casio down Avenue Bridge to Antara, which was easy and didn't take long. But trying to get a taxi from Antara back to the hotel was really difficult. The price was doubled, and we waited over half an hour before finally getting a car.
The hotel service was alright, nothing particularly special.

JingWen 1015We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel has a beautiful design, and both the morning views and the night scenery were amazing. It’s a great place for a family trip or a gathering with friends.
One area that could be improved is the cleanliness and smell of the bathroom. Since the hotel is located in the highlands, the humidity is quite high, and there was some moss-like buildup on the floor as well as a slightly musty smell. It would be great if some dehumidifying products could be placed in the bathroom to help with this.
One thing we really loved was the washing machine. Having a washer and dryer in one was extremely convenient, especially for a longer stay! Overall, we had a pleasant stay and really enjoyed the atmosphere and design of the hotel.

I booked 3d2n for family events, and the place was fully booked as it was school holiday and PH at the same time.
Service staff were really nice and friendly, we felt immediately welcomed upon checked-in. The deposit has to be paid in cash ONLY upon check-in, so make sure you have some cash ready in your wallet. They provide buggy service to the hotel room, however many were broken so there’s only one operating so waiting time is prolonged but manageable. My kids love riding the buggy so that is also an attraction by itself.
It’s cheaper to buy breakfast on Trip apps than at the receptionist. The location is very remote and food delivery apps will not deliver here. There’s also no lunch and dinner service available unless you book way ahead before coming. So for lunch and dinner time we have to go out, it has become very inconvenient as we planned to stay longer inside and enjoyed the facility than eating outside.
The overall facilities are nice, it is a very spacious place where we could conduct a lot of activities for the kids, from swimming to badminton to indoor games and not to mention hike in the morning - mind you the hiking is not-beginner-level.
However there are some challenges we faced during our stay. One of the rooms that we booked has water issue, at night the water just stopped flowing. And on the second night, there is an unfortunate power outage caused by faulty electrical equipment that resulted to about 6 hours of blackout in few rooms and also the clubhouse. It is understandable and commendable that they tried to fix the issue a quick as they can, and service staff on the ground handled the communication well by keeping us updated with the repair progress, and even accommodate us as best they could. However it is still very unpleasant experience to stay in the dark and also our program has to be cancelled due to this unfortunate event.
Overall the kids enjoyed their stay here. And the staff are also very helpful. With the price we pay it is worth the stay and hope this place can improve further, especially when handling full house booking during peak season.

Faz MhmdI recently stayed at Hotel Seri Malaysia Genting Highlands for one night. The hotel has a rather dated appearance, and many aspects of the room, including the bed, wardrobe, and furnishings, seem unchanged for many years. While the room was spacious, the overall condition could benefit from refurbishment.
The room itself was reasonably clean, but the bathroom was less impressive. There were visible signs of mould and some dirt buildup, particularly in certain areas of the toilet.
One of the biggest drawbacks of my stay was the noise level. The hotel is located close to the main road at Gohtong Jaya, and traffic noise could be heard clearly throughout the night. As a result, I found it difficult to get a deep and restful sleep.
Overall, the hotel may be suitable for a short one-night stay if you’re simply looking for a place to rest before heading to Genting Highlands. However, for a stay of two or three nights, I would probably consider other options, especially if sleep quality and comfort are important to you.

monster750jpBoh tea is available. Tourist tax can be paid by credit card. There are three towers, and the restaurants are excellent. There's also a hot spring (swimsuit required). Hard Rock Cafe is in the adjacent tower. The convenience stores are also well-stocked. It's best to book the shuttle bus in advance. Grab (ride-hailing service) is also available.
