Fantastic location. Service was amazing, with shout out to staff - Exec Chef James, F&B Operations Manager, Gareth, Christine from the Signature Restaurant just to name a few who made our stay amazing and went the extra mile. In fact all the staff we met were really helpful, attentive and happy. Recommend the upstairs pool, the terrace bar for cocktails. Book it, a perfect escape…leave the kids at home.

What a great experience at The Point, very warm and welcoming staff to greet us first time, and then always wanting to help. Dining at the Lambert Resto was also awesome! Wonderful and warm service, thanks Joe and Yvonne for the lovely experience. I would highly recommend anyone wanting to just pop into Brissy for a short business trip to stay here! Stayed as family of four (teenagers) in one bedroom suite. Got early checkin and late checkout on Friday night which was great. There's no view in the room but wasn't much of an issue. The pool was great, but the swim up bar wasn't open on Friday, despite the homepage saying it is. It was open on Saturday but we were getting ready to checkout so really wasn't in the drinking phase. The executive lounge had good choice of food and drinks. They only had beers and wines so no spirits, even basics. The rooms were spacious. The bathroom door wouldn't close properly and there was no lock which was bit inconvenient. The sofa bed was bit small for 2 ppl and the king bed was very spacious. Overall it was great hotel for an overnight stay as family. Would highly recommend

The best hotel stay I've had in Brisbane to date. Infinitely better than The Calile, Hilton, Marriott, Hotel X, Stamford etc. Generally I'm not a fan of the aesthetics of W Hotels, hence why I've only just booked it but I will be a repeat customer. The check-in was wonderful, the staff (Rachel) were very knowledgeable, people down on the concierge actually went above and beyond, the rooms are a great size and are very well designed in terms of layout, light control panel etc, even the shower pressure was great. Bathroom amenities are of a high grade.

The room has a modern feel, and the bed is comfortable. However, there was toothpaste residue left in the cup in the bathroom. The shower head was leaking, and the door couldn't close properly. After the shower the water is leaking out to the toilet area. Nice gym areas, however, 8 equipments only 2 have power supply. Staffs are friendly.

Danny was very professional, friendly, welcoming and helpful during my booking via phone and my check in and check out. 5 stars for customer service ***** The cleaners were friendly and helpful when I needed a bath plug and even gave me some complementary bath salts. We stayed here for 8 days as a family of 4. 2 adults and 2 children. BE AWARE..... These are not 2 bedroom apartments. There are no pictures on the website and when you book, there was no mention of what the actuall room setup is. We found out our 2 bedroom apartment is actually 2 individual rooms that they turn into a apartment by a connecting hallway. 1 room was a 1 bedroom apartment, with 1 small 2 seater couch, small living area, table and chairs, bathroom and only just a kitchen. The other room is a room with large bed, kitchen area in same room and bathroom. We had to keep both doors open all the times to make like an apartment. Both these doors open to a cold tiled long hallway.This meant the door was in the way of one of the kitchens the whole trip. We did not feel comfortable with the children sleeping in one room by themselves as the rooms werent close to each other. For family of 4 spending a fair bit of time in the apartment in the evening, the small 2 seater couch and small lounge area was not sufficient for us to be together in the one area. Rooms were serviced daily. Both rooms had kitchens, but were lacking enough utensils etc for a family of 4, as these are obviously not used for a family. So be careful when booking this location if you are looking for an apartment for a family. I now know why there is no photos and no mention of what the actual setup is when you book. The description on the website for the 2 bedroom apartment is not what it is. If i had of known what we were actually booking, we would not have stayed at this location. On checking in, i was told that i had a great deal. I now see why it is expensive as you are pretty much booking out 2 different rooms to get 1 2 bed apartment. Who needs 2 average kitchens??? Location is pretty good. just a short walk to southbank.

Stayed here for 7 nights at the beginning of April. Check in was quick and although we requested a quiet room, we were sadly given a room that faced onto a road and the helipad of the children’s hospital. So, the room was rather noisy from the traffic and from helicopter landing and taking off at night. Even with ear plugs on I could still hear the traffic. Room: Room 714 was very clean, it seems the Australian standards of cleanliness is much higher and better than at our previous Marriott stays in Cardiff, Wales and in Edinburgh, Scotland. Housekeeping at this hotel is very thorough at cleaning, as we didn’t feel any dust on the surfaces. My partner is blind and the first thing he does is touch the surfaces to get to know the layout of the room and he was impressed that tables, chairs & walls didn’t feel dusty. The housekeeping ladies always provided us with fresh towels and 2 bottles of water daily, as well as change the bed linen when requested. These ladies (day as well as evening housekeeping) are all lovely and friendly, requests for extra toilet paper, tissues, even slippers, toothbrush and toothpaste were promptly supplied with a smile. The housekeeping team at this hotel should be commended for keeping rooms/bathroom clean to a high standard. Reception: The ladies at reception Jess and other lady (who doesn’t wear a name badge) are efficient when checking people in however, they were not so friendly once you’ve checked in, they both came across as cold, sourpusses. Every day we went past reception and these 2 ladies never smiled or said hello. Once we initiated a hello and got a forced response. The male reception staff at night and on the days when the ladies were off are much better as they always greeted people as they walked past reception. Location: This hotel is perfectly located as it is close to all the restaurants in the Southbank and there’s lots to choose from. It is also about 2 mins walk to Goodwill bridge which connects to the Botanical Gardens. From this hotel everything is within walking distance, we walked to Queen Street shopping mall daily and it took us about 10 mins via Southbank parklands and crossing the bridge. We are not super fast walkers but we found everything in close proximity to this hotel. We will definitely stay at this hotel again when we return to Australia next year.

We stayed in the Mantra South Bank, Brisbane, for 5 nights. The Mantra is well located, only a short walk from the river and South Bank attractions. Our studio room was spacious, clean and well-appointed. The hotel has a small pool and gym with a good selection of fitness machines. The Mantra's staff on the front desk and in the restaurant/bar were excellent - friendly, professional, and helpful. Overall we were made to feel very welcome, which we really appreciated.

Staff where very polite and helpful. Room was clean and tidy and accommodating. Our room was right on the main road, but couldn’t believe how the noise was blocked out, we all had a good nights sleep with little road noise. Room could of done with a clock. WIFI was very hit and miss. A variety of restaurants and take away store very close by, so you can park not taking the car out again. They have a communal kitchen equipped with most utensils and laundry that’s coin operated also. Car park is locked from 5pm to 7am if leaving between these hours you have to call to be let out. Beds where very comfortable also.

I stayed at Capsules first which were really comfy, squeaky sometimes though which was the only issue other than that good, there are air cons inside of them, usb charging stations, different sets of neon lights, etc. 2 rooms which are connected to each other, 4 capsules in each room, there was also a little balcony. Capsule rooms are typically quite and good to get some rest when super tired. Then, I moved to 8xbed dorm which wasn't too bad, can be a bit disgusting though sometimes depending on who you stay with, I mean when they spray the F* out of the room with their cheap sh*t-smelling deodorant - you have to breathe! Breeeathe! Other than that you get what you pay for pretty much, it was like 120 bucks a week (end-2021 price). There is a balcony, a much better one than the one in the capsule room, there is also a shower and toilet. Obviously, not much of a privacy as you'd inevitably see and hear everything what's happening in the room, for more privacy - capsules or private rooms which are super-expensive if you're a traveller or student!

The place is ok albeit very expensive. The huge disappointment comes from the lack of fixing issues and total disregards for customers The heated pool hasn’t been working for a week and the only acknowledgment I got was that it is out of their hands! What about actually working actively on the issue and not a lame excuse that a technician “should “come and “try” to fix the issue I’m appalled from the lack of professionalism, lack of customer service, lack of providing what is advertised everywhere as having a heated pool One week is a very long time to fix the issue. My feeling is that they don’t care at all to fix it The manager wrote comments that the issues need to be addressed during the stay. Well I sent 2 emails but I only receive a lame message that it’s not their fault!! It’s appalling for the price you pay for a suburban average accomodation. I paid the same amount for 5 stars hotel with the most incredible service Don’t book there, save your money and energy and to avoid disappointment

The room was clean and tidy . It was everything we needed for a two week hospital visit for cancer . 5 minute walk to the PAH and grocery shop. So very convenient. Unfortunately the road noise was our only gripe . We are country people and the major highway with cars truck’s helicopters 🚁 ambulances etc took some getting use to . I tried the ear plugs provided but didn’t help much . Next time I will pay extra for a room positioned at the back away from the highway. My favourite part was Vend a market place and coffee shop on Brisbane street. One minute walk away and they have great home made juices .
