The boss is a local in Zhoushan and has run a homestay in Zhoushan for five years. He patiently taught us how to visit Putuo Mountain without going back, as well as how to worship at Puji Temple, Fayu Temple, and Luojia Mountain. It is recommended to ask for incense at the homestay, because the incense is the same and the price is much cheaper than on the mountain. You have to ask the boss which one to ask for, because the incense is different for different wishes. Anyway, if you go to Putuo Mountain for the first time, book this homestay and don't step on the pit. The room is good and the service is good. Come again next year to fulfill your wish, and I wish you better and better"

The bedding and pillows are just as comfortable as those in a five-star hotel – I slept very well! But that's just the hardware. What truly made it memorable was the service. It wasn't just service; it felt like being treated like a welcoming friend or relative. The owner personally arranged transportation and waited for us on the roadside, helping with our luggage. The owner's sister meticulously managed the guests' needs, from food and lodging to transportation, attending to every detail. She even prepared and exchanged change for us to make offerings. Hearing we hadn't eaten dinner, she brought us a large bowl of steaming, fragrant noodles – perfect for a winter trip, as the fatigue and cold disappeared in that bowl! The next morning, they prepared breakfast for us early, offered itinerary suggestions, and arranged for our luggage to be handed over for our afternoon departure from the island. In short, staying here meant you didn't have to worry about anything; everything was taken care of! It's been a long time since I've been to Putuo. This trip not only fulfilled my long-held wish to visit Putuo, but also allowed me to make friends with the owner and his family. Next time I come to Putuo, I will definitely stay at Yunshuiboxin again, burn incense to fulfill my vows, and visit my friends!"
