Guest UserI chose this hotel because I was visiting Mount Putuo and arriving on the island early the next morning. It turned out to be convenient and worthwhile. It's located right inside the Cihang parking lot, so parking isn't an issue if you're driving. Plus, it's a leisurely five-minute walk to the pier, which is incredibly convenient. Both the service and facilities are excellent, and the sea view room offers a beautiful view. My room even had a small daybed, essentially an extra bed, which was lovely to sit on and gaze out at the ocean. All in all, I highly recommend it.

happy4everzoeIf you want to drive with your dog and want a sea view, this is the first choice
Shengsi is not big, so it only takes 20 minutes to drive to the pier, and 10 minutes to various scenic spots (Jihu Lake, Donghai Five Fishing Village... and 25 minutes to Qicai Reef to watch the sunset)
The hotel also has a restaurant with meals, but it is also very convenient to drive to the county town to eat seafood or to the Donghai Five Fish Village Seafood Street.
The hotel has a private beach (with a lot of sand and rocks), and there is also a beach on the Left Bank Road a short walk away. There are very few people there, so you can rent the entire beach for yourself. It is very convenient to bring your dog to play on the beach. The hotel itself is on the Left Bank Road, built on a cliff, so you can watch the sunrise directly from your room.
The sanitation service is very good. You can consult the housekeeper for any questions. It happened to be my birthday. The room was decorated with some atmosphere. Although the breakfast was not a buffet, it was very rich. They also made coffee for me, which was very comfortable.
This time we happened to encounter a force 10 gale and were unable to return on schedule. The housekeeper was very considerate and told us how to book the next ferry ticket and even brought some dog food for the dog.
The only drawback may be that there are too many steps. We originally booked Building 4, which has an elevator in the lobby. Because of the water pipe problem in Building 4, we upgraded to Building 6 before moving in. Although Building 6 has the highest view and the best view, it is indeed the farthest building and has too many steps, which is not very friendly to the elderly. My dog originally had a ligament injury and it was a bit difficult to go up and down the stairs with my arms held the whole time. It is more suitable for young people to stay in. The view is also very good as it is a single-family building and quiet.

This is the best guesthouse I've ever stayed in. They provide breakfast, including a bowl of plain noodles and some side dishes. Upon check-in, you receive disposable toiletries. The room is almost identical to the pictures – very clean and tidy. The kettle and hairdryer aren't cheap brands, and the shower gel and conditioner smell lovely. The guesthouse owns several villas; check-in and breakfast are in a separate building. Parking within the complex isn't too tight. They offer a complimentary pick-up or drop-off service to/from Putuoshan Airport/Wugongzhi Pier once on check-in day and once on check-out day. The business van has a blue wrap. The only surprise was that our driver was a lovely, gentle woman wearing a straw hat.

Service by the guy who picked us up from the airport is excellent. 10/10!!! Our luggage was damaged during the flight, he called someone to help us repair it. We were short on time for the ferry sailing to Mt Putuo due the weather conditions, that day sailings will be cancelled, (we got to chat in the van when he picked us up from the airport), he said we can just leave the luggages at the front desk and then hurriedly sent us to the port, good thing we made it. That's superb customer service!!! He didn't even want to get a tip, eventually we gave him some dried mango packs from the Philippines. The front desk guy though is a different story, he was super slow, did not know how to handle checking in of foreign passport holders I think. He has our passports and had to ask us our birthdays!! It was also difficult for him to understand the visa dates (expiry and issue dates), and he kept on asking when we arrived, it is just there stamped opposite the visa page, we just actually arrived that day, this is our first hotel. Anyway, free pick up from the airport is best and free sending to the port and then lastly also to the bus station. Great service.

There are comments about various problems with environmental sanitation services. As for my personal stay this time: When checking in, the front desk receptionist spoke softly and gently, and was very polite throughout the whole process.
After checking in, another handsome guy showed the way and introduced the unmanned supermarket next to it, which was convenient for self-service purchase of snacks and drinks.
Room hygiene: Very clean and tidy. The items were also neatly organized. There was a very retro letter on the desk.
Because I came here for business and didn’t have time to eat breakfast, I didn’t have a choice, so I didn’t comment.
Room service: There was nothing to clean. The auntie who hung the do not disturb also asked if I wanted to add drinking water when I went out. She was warm and thoughtful.
The check-out procedure was very fast. I forgot the room card in the room and just told the front desk and left. I received the refunded deposit in one minute.
I was very satisfied with this stay and will choose Xin Huaqiao next time.

Guest UserStruck gold with this find for our trip! The staff were all incredibly thoughtful and proactive, even upgrading our room type. The room itself was spacious and didn't feel cramped. The hygiene was on point, and the soundproofing was excellent, so no worries about noisy kids. It's also very close to the ferry terminal. The whole family was very happy with our stay.

Guest UserStaying at the Westin Zhoushan again was a fantastic overall vacation experience. The hotel environment is tranquil, with well-maintained green spaces that are perfect for a relaxing stroll. The room hygiene was impeccable; the bedding was soft and clean, the bathroom had no odors, and even the corner details were tidy. The hotel facilities are well-kept, with excellent pools and public amenities that provide a comfortable user experience. The service was also very warm, with prompt responses and thoughtful attention to detail, handling any requests quickly. The Marriott gift shop items are adorable and make for great souvenirs to take home. The newly added self-service store is very practical and convenient for last-minute purchases. This hotel is ideal for a short, relaxing getaway, and I would recommend it to friends. I look forward to my next visit!

The hotel boasts unbeatable sea views; you can hear the waves as soon as you open the balcony door. However, the soundproofing is excellent, and once you close the door, it's completely silent, which is fantastic! The front desk staff and cleaning ladies were all very warm and accommodating. We drove to Zhujiajian, and the hotel has a huge free parking lot, which was very convenient. The beach is right on its doorstep, and there's a seafood street just behind the hotel. All in all, it was a very satisfying stay. We enjoyed delicious food and had a great time on this trip. When we come back to Putuoshan for our next vacation, we'll definitely choose Dongsha Resort Hotel again!

The accommodation was very comfortable and close to the beach. I would definitely choose this place again if I come back. Getting around is also very convenient; they have cars and electric bikes for rent. There's a food street nearby. The young man in the white shirt at the front desk was super nice and attentive.
