"The hotel is located in Dinghai District, but it's very close to Shenjiamen. It's also near the stadium, which has street food stalls open at night. There's a beautiful Hong Kong Island Bridge nearby. The hotel itself is clean and well-maintained, and the swimming pool is spotless. They offer a rich buffet breakfast with both Chinese and Western options. There's also a commercial plaza right next to the hotel."

"Don't be fooled by the name 'resort village,' it's more like a guesthouse with a nice environment. We went there with our kids during the May Day holiday. I didn't pay close attention and thought it was a hotel with plenty of public areas. In reality, it's located in a villa complex, basically a collection of villas. The decor is like an all-season style, and while the price is usually around two to three hundred, it shot up to almost a thousand during May Day. We stayed for two nights. It's newly renovated, so the facilities are quite new, and it's very clean. They offer one-on-one butler service, and they respond quickly if you need anything delivered. The breakfast is pretty standard, but then again, many hotels in Zhoushan don't even offer breakfast."

"Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by Xiaolin at the front desk. Not only did she upgrade me to an executive floor, but seeing that we had a child, she also provided complimentary breakfast and a welcome fruit platter. It was a truly friendly reception. The hotel's cleanliness was perfectly fine, and the view was good. There's just one thing I hope they can improve: the water pressure from the sink faucet is too strong. Every time I wash my hands or clothes, water splashes everywhere. I hope this can be fixed; otherwise, everything else was great, and I'll definitely come back next time!"

"This trip to Mount Putuo in Zhoushan with my friends was incredibly relaxing and comfortable, much more so than I'd anticipated, thanks to our stay at the Zen-inspired Ruyige Hotel. The hotel boasts an overall Chinese Zen design. From the moment you step into the lobby, you're enveloped in a quiet and serene atmosphere. The wooden structures, courtyard landscaping, and subtle fragrance – every detail exudes quality, making it the perfect place to find peace and unwind on Mount Putuo. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to and from the pier, which was very convenient. We stayed in a family room in the back mountain area this time. It was much quieter than the main building, and we had beautiful mountain views and lush greenery right outside our window. Although there was a short uphill walk, the hotel staff kindly helped with our luggage, which was a thoughtful touch. The room details also added a sense of ritual. Besides complimentary drinking water, they provided calligraphy paper, brushes, and an inkstone for copying scriptures. It was drizzling that day, so we listened to the rain and quietly copied scriptures in our room, feeling ourselves slowly calm down. The wooden bathtub and foot spa basin were also huge pluses; after soaking our feet in the evening, we slept incredibly well. The hotel also offers many experiential activities, such as scripture copying, morning and evening lessons, and sachet making, which are perfect for experiencing the Zen lifestyle of Mount Putuo at a leisurely pace with friends. What I loved most was that it's only about a seven-minute walk from the hotel to Puji Temple. Along the way, there are coffee shops and mountain scenery to enjoy, making for a very pleasant stroll and chat. I highly recommend the Yuanzhi Yuanwei restaurant directly opposite the hotel. We went twice in a row because the food was excellent. However, it gets very crowded during mealtimes on weekends, so it's best to go early. This trip to Mount Putuo with my friends wasn't about rushing through an itinerary; it was more about slowing down, quieting the mind, and savoring the present moment. I'm so glad we could spend such comfortable and healing days at Ruyige. I'd love to come back again."

"Hotel. Hotel itself is very good. It is a part of a complex, occupying a whole mountain side. This exact hotel is located at the very top, which might be as plus for someone as tiring for others. The territory is green, has playground, pool, recreation areas, and a small shop at the foot. Inside there is a gym and small coffee shop/store. The room was clean, relatively new, had comfortable beds, sofa, spacious closet, tea table, tv, cloths drying rack. Kitchen has kettle, couple of glasses, sink. Location. It is located near a beach (need tickets) and small neighbourhood where you can find a lot of seafood restaurants. 10 minutes ride away there is another beach with a lot of villas and cafes. Staff. The front desk guy was EXTREMELY NICE, he solved our EVERY problem. Gave us umbrellas when it was rainy. And even after checking out, I had problems with borrowed powerbank, and he helped to solve it when I was back home already. Some recommendations: coffee/lunch/bear + nice owner 岛主咖啡(东荷嘉园店). Drinks/food/ souvenir store 冷库1985酒馆 (be careful some stuff can be easily bought online for half the price)."

"We booked a family room for three adults and one child. We looked at famous hotels and chain hotels, and finally chose this economical one. We arrived at 12 noon on June 14th, and we were able to check in directly. The hotel front desk directly helped me upgrade from the first floor to the third floor for free! Thank you, front desk, hahaha. It's a bit heavy to remove moisture in this season. I just touched the quilt and it was a little wet. It will be much better after turning on the dehumidifier for half a day. So this is not a big problem. I won't feel uncomfortable sleeping. The hotel is super close to Dongsha, about 100 meters from the back garden. You can also enjoy unlimited entry for three days at 50 yuan per ticket if you book this hotel. Have fun~"

"Cons: It was quite crowded during the summer, so the wait for a room was a bit long. The room had a smoke smell, and the hallway soundproofing was poor. The towels made my child break out in a rash after swimming, but thankfully it cleared up on its own. Pros: The scenery is beautiful, and it's close to the beach. The unlimited access to Dongsha is a nice touch. Although the family pool is very sunny during the day, it's quite pleasant in the evening."
