Although you can't sunbathe, the cloud-shrouded sea views have their own unique charm. What a coincidence, Huan Xiaopeng perfectly met our needs: comfortable accommodation, close proximity to the pier for activities, and a wide selection of nearby dining options. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home."

"The hotel is located in Dinghai District, but it's very close to Shenjiamen. It's also near the stadium, which has street food stalls open at night. There's a beautiful Hong Kong Island Bridge nearby. The hotel itself is clean and well-maintained, and the swimming pool is spotless. They offer a rich buffet breakfast with both Chinese and Western options. There's also a commercial plaza right next to the hotel."

"Don't be fooled by the name 'resort village,' it's more like a guesthouse with a nice environment. We went there with our kids during the May Day holiday. I didn't pay close attention and thought it was a hotel with plenty of public areas. In reality, it's located in a villa complex, basically a collection of villas. The decor is like an all-season style, and while the price is usually around two to three hundred, it shot up to almost a thousand during May Day. We stayed for two nights. It's newly renovated, so the facilities are quite new, and it's very clean. They offer one-on-one butler service, and they respond quickly if you need anything delivered. The breakfast is pretty standard, but then again, many hotels in Zhoushan don't even offer breakfast."

"The hotel boasts unbeatable sea views; you can hear the waves as soon as you open the balcony door. However, the soundproofing is excellent, and once you close the door, it's completely silent, which is fantastic! The front desk staff and cleaning ladies were all very warm and accommodating. We drove to Zhujiajian, and the hotel has a huge free parking lot, which was very convenient. The beach is right on its doorstep, and there's a seafood street just behind the hotel. All in all, it was a very satisfying stay. We enjoyed delicious food and had a great time on this trip. When we come back to Putuoshan for our next vacation, we'll definitely choose Dongsha Resort Hotel again!"

The water park wasn't too crowded, and my little one had a fantastic time. The sunset view from the Starlight Lounge on the 17th floor was beautiful. Overall, Zhoushan Kaiyuan Senbo offers a great experience and comes highly recommended."

"After visiting Mount Putuo, I stayed in Zhoushan. It was very convenient for eating and shopping. The hotel room was large and the facilities were new, especially the bathroom. The shower water was very large. It was super comfortable after a day of climbing. The front desk was also very considerate and sent delicious food when I checked out. The only thing was that the breakfast was not replenished in time. When I went there at 9 o'clock, many basins were empty. I hope it will be improved in the future."

"Cons: It was quite crowded during the summer, so the wait for a room was a bit long. The room had a smoke smell, and the hallway soundproofing was poor. The towels made my child break out in a rash after swimming, but thankfully it cleared up on its own. Pros: The scenery is beautiful, and it's close to the beach. The unlimited access to Dongsha is a nice touch. Although the family pool is very sunny during the day, it's quite pleasant in the evening."
