The view from the balcony is breathtaking. Across from the hotel is a food court, where singers entertain guests at night. The hotel is 3 to 6 kilometers from the Dongsha and Nansha scenic areas, as well as Wushitang Village, making it very convenient for sightseeing. There's also a nearly 2-kilometer-long running greenway facing the beach, perfect for runners."

Perfect
I initially booked a basic room, but the owner unexpectedly upgraded me to a suite. Getting a loft suite for half the price was incredible! I loved the skylight, floor-to-ceiling windows, and the outdoor infinity pool—they're so photogenic! The location is fantastic, even on cloudy days, it's still beautiful. The Water Curtain Garden Restaurant for dinner was beautiful, and the seafood was all sourced freshly, so the mussels and fish were incredibly tender! The owner was also enjoying a glass of wine during the evening, so we went downstairs to toast and even had a cocktail he made himself, haha 🍹. Shengshan Island boasts the bluest waters and most beautiful scenery in Shengsi. Dongya Cliff is Shengshan Island's most beautiful attraction, and Waiting for the Wind is Dongya Cliff's most beautiful B&B!

To be quite honest when we booked this hotel for one night only we didn’t have very high hopes for it. However, the contrary happened. Hilton Zhoushan turned out to be amazing; literally from the first minute that we stepped in we were greeted warmly by front desk staff. They speak very good English and the GM was very nice; once he realised that it’s our little daughter’s first birthday they offered cake and candles. They also brought a nice crib for the baby. Every single staff member’s behaviour was professional and friendly and respectful. On the 19th floor we had an amazing view of the lake and the surrounding landscape. We had a great time and will definitely come back.

The facility is old but adequate. We were stayed at 3rd floor. The room sound proofing not good, the corridor was noisy and can hear people talking loudly. Second night we were disturbed by the guests at the top floor noise until late night.

Service by the guy who picked us up from the airport is excellent. 10/10!!! Our luggage was damaged during the flight, he called someone to help us repair it. We were short on time for the ferry sailing to Mt Putuo due the weather conditions, that day sailings will be cancelled, (we got to chat in the van when he picked us up from the airport), he said we can just leave the luggages at the front desk and then hurriedly sent us to the port, good thing we made it. That's superb customer service!!! He didn't even want to get a tip, eventually we gave him some dried mango packs from the Philippines. The front desk guy though is a different story, he was super slow, did not know how to handle checking in of foreign passport holders I think. He has our passports and had to ask us our birthdays!! It was also difficult for him to understand the visa dates (expiry and issue dates), and he kept on asking when we arrived, it is just there stamped opposite the visa page, we just actually arrived that day, this is our first hotel. Anyway, free pick up from the airport is best and free sending to the port and then lastly also to the bus station. Great service.

Hotel has good location. There is free shuttle service from the port to the hotel. Outside the hotel has many restaurants and is near the temple. The staff is very accomodating especially 石志勇先生. His service and assistance helped our stay become very comfortable and convenient.

You must book a homestay before coming to Huaniao Island. The homestay will help you arrange the round-trip boat tickets. I booked it late, and the boss helped me book the boat ticket and arrange my itinerary. I experienced sea fishing and saw the blue tears. It was worth the trip. The room was booked according to the children's preferences. There is a slide, an ocean ball, and a skylight. It is a very childlike room. Outside the window is Beiao Wharf, and our fishing boat is also there, very close. In fact, our usual activity area is between Nan'ao Wharf and Beiao Wharf. It is a very mini island, very suitable for a relaxing vacation. There is neither a cinema nor a karaoke on the island. Surprisingly, you can get on the boat directly from Nan'ao Wharf, without a waiting hall and security check. Huaniao Island is worth going again, a great vacation🏖
