"The hotel is well-located on Meizen Road, not far from Puji Temple and Meizen Food Court. The hotel itself is quite large, with a main building and an annex. There's a restaurant on the first floor of the main building, offering a buffet breakfast for 18 RMB per person. The rooms are relatively clean; we visited in mid-October and found no issues with dampness. The hotel service is also good. The security guard even escorted my son and me to our floor. Additionally, the hotel offers pier transfers. You can call them once you've boarded your boat, and they'll send a car to pick you up."

GGuest UserThe location of the B&B is very convenient. You can take the 302 tourist line from Shenjiawan Passenger Terminal for 10 yuan per person and get off at Gaochangwan Bus Station. The B&B is under the bus stop. It is also very convenient to transfer to other buses. I came on June 12. The location of this B&B is about 7 minutes' walk from Gaochangwan Bathing Beach (Tianyuewan Resort). The original ticket was 50 yuan. Because I live in this village, the owner of the B&B gave me a ticket. It only costs 30 yuan to enter the beach, and I can also get a wristband. I can enter and exit the beach at will within one day. The limit is one day. I think that except for living in Gaochangwan, other B&Bs must not have this treatment. This beach should belong to this village. This beach is very large and long, with fine sand. You can take a bath when it is hot. It is a sister beach with Jihu Beach behind the B&B mountain, separated by a mountain. The B&B is very new. The owner said that it will be repaired every year to keep it brand new. The decoration style is all related to the sea, very warm and comfortable, the accommodation conditions are impeccable, and the owner's house design has a large terrace on the 4th floor, where you can cool off, drink tea and watch the scenery. In one of the rooms, you can see the sea and the beach by opening the curtains, which is very comfortable. I looked at the B&Bs around, and there are very few with such a large terrace. During the period, I also went to the Donghai Fishing Village mentioned by my friend. There are more people there, but it looks very messy, and the design of the B&B is not very good. The Donghai Fishing Village is lively, and there are many food stalls. If you want to be quiet, Gaochang Bay is really quiet. Also, it is recommended to let the B&B owner cook seafood if you want to eat it, which is affordable. The 700 yuan we ate outside was not as much as the 500 yuan the boss cooked, and it was a bit of a rip-off outside. The boss was very kind and talked to each other. The yard of the B&B and the roof are full of succulents, which are very beautiful. The only regret is that the weather was not good when I came, it was gloomy, foggy and rainy, the sea water was not blue, and there was haze, which was the biggest disappointment. Everything else was very satisfactory.

2205159****I've stayed here before because it's convenient for morning prayers at Puji Temple, so I came back again this time. But it's strange, staying in the same room, my experience this time was terrible. I went to bed at 8:30 PM for morning prayers, but from 9 PM onwards, there was the noise of the restaurant downstairs dragging tables, the constantly loud phone ringing at the front desk, and then in the middle of the night, rude guests shouting and doors slamming. The soundproofing is just awful. I later saw that several new hotels and guesthouses have opened near Puji Temple this year. Anyway, I won't be staying here again. The good rating is for the staff; even though they didn't solve the problems, their attitude was decent.

MMaria13579One of our best stays in China! This place was absolutely amazing. The ladies running it are hilarious and always made us laugh. First of all - the rooms are really good for the price. We got upgraded to a much better room after our first night, free of charge. It’s also conveniently located next to grocery shops, cafes, restaurants and the beach, while still being a little out of the way from the hustle and bustle. The food here is really good too - the (included) breakfast as well as what you can buy for lunch/dinner is really fresh. Because of the language barrier they tried to accommodate by providing more “western style” breakfasts for us, but when we realized and asked about it they made us a second breakfast that was like the one everyone else got. They also helped us out with a driver to take us to the abandoned village, and booked our tickets back to Shanghai. Also, the aircon here is FAST and reliable which we’ve realized isn’t a given after a few weeks in China. So that’s another (small yet important) plus for sure! Usually I like to explore different places and stay at different accommodations if/when I revisit places, but I’d probably make an exception and stay here again if I ever come back to visit the island!

SShengsibujueThe location is in the Daqingshan Scenic Area, facing the Qingsha Beach (you can directly walk from Qingsha to Lisha at low tide), backed by the Daqingshan, surrounded by mountains and rivers. The homestay has its own large area. After driving into the railing, there is a large lawn, and then there is a multi-storey building (with elevator) on the road. The lobby on the first floor, the restaurant on the second floor, and the sea view room are on the third floor. There is its own terrace and the sea view is unobstructed. At night, the waves of Qingsha have a slight white noise through the window, and sleep is very comfortable. In addition, there is also a terrace in the public area on the third floor. It is very large and has several swimming pools. My golden retriever (by the way, it is also pet-friendly) fell into the tarpaulin. The pool is being maintained by water. I am sorry (o__)... The housekeeper said that the pool will change water every day, and the beach is flooded by the tide. I just played in the pool a little (absolutely no dog!). The decoration is refreshing and warm, clean and tidy, there is a slow charging pile, and it is very cool to make up electricity at night. The homestay has a restaurant, but because it is an off-season workday, there are seafood noodles and fried rice for lunch and dinner, and then because the seafood noodles are quite delicious, I had another breakfast (breakfast is included in the room rate, and you can also choose a porridge set meal). The scenery of Daqingshan is really good. Although the ticket is 100, I live in Daqingshan. There is no one in the whole scenic spot at night! The whole scenic spot is for guests! ! Especially suitable for people who don't like noisy!

Beautiful environment, wide view, it's a pity that the balcony door can't be opened. The three-separation design of the bathroom with double sinks is very convenient. Overall satisfaction, full marks for software, hardware needs to be improved. The location is a little far from Zhujiajian Wharf and Putuo Airport.

GGuest UserExcellent stay, room is exactly like the picture in the listing. Very cozy room and comfortable bed. The room is smart room enabled and have an excellent view especially in the morning. The boss of the property is extremely friendly and provides great hospitality. He drove us personally to the pier and also when we finished watching impression of Putuo, he also picked us up and drove us back to the property. The next day when we wanted to have a seafood feast, he recommended us a nice restaurant and once again he drove us there. He even make some Chinese tea for us in the lobby and chatted with us. Lovely experience.

KKevin HZThe Westin in Zhoushan is a very large resort style property. We had a warm welcome from the front desk staff named Franky. He explained to us details about the hotel and how to visit the beach. The room was large and clean. Housekeeping staff did a good job cleaning it and bringing extra water and towels for our children. The only thing I didn’t like was the breakfast food. Most of the food was bland and lacked a true western style breakfast. The coffee tasted bad and some of the food items were empty. The service in the cafĂ© was fine, no complaints about the service. I recommend this hotel to someone wanting a weekend getaway. There are many local seafood restaurants next to the hotel.

Because there are elderly people with mobility problems, we were given two rooms at the end of the first floor. I am very grateful, but I didn't expect that the aunts' loud voices and rudeness are really a headache. They chattered until midnight at night and started to chatter again before 5 o'clock in the morning. Someone even knocked on the door and wanted to open the door to enter, but was stopped by her companions. We got up in a daze. The hotel has poor sound insulation.
