"A nice hotel a short walk from the town centre. Our room was clean, quiet and well equipped and, being on the second floor, had a level of natural light and a partial view of the sea. The outside, paved areas were sensitively laid out and featured a number of attractive sculptures. There was a good breakfast with a wide range of options. The staff in the hotel were incredibly helpful and welcoming. There were also a number of printed guides giving information about local walks etc. Our only criticism was that the bathroom was rather cramped."

Within walking distance to nearby beach and old town of Chania. The first three days I was bothered by the street noises, which is unavoidable being in the city at times unless the sounds proof is well installed, otherwise it is a great place as a base to explore around."

"This hotel has a great location, very nice room, and a huge bed. The price is not cheap or super expensive but rather somewhere in between. The thing I didn't like was that the reception was physically far away from the actual hotel rather than downstairs like most hotels. The hotel reception is a group that represents multiple hotels in the area so getting in contact with them to express any concern can be a bit frustrating. The bathroom is very clean, new, and the room is also big. The internet connection is also great."

"Very nice, clean and fresh accommodation. Cleaning was done every day, which was too often. Cleaning every 3rd day would be enough. Close to everything; pool, beach and Agia Marina's offerings. Nice and helpful staff. Communication between Trip.com and the accommodation broke down at check-in but the staff at the reception resolved it. A great place! Highly recommended!"

It's a 20-minute drive from the center of Chania, and there are many restaurants and supermarkets near the hotel. The nearby beaches are nice, but I still recommend traveling further. In my opinion, the best beaches in western Crete are Kalypso Beach (located within a resort but still accessible) and White Beach (also within a hotel but still accessible)."

The location is a bit out of the way, but the environment is quite nice, the service is excellent, and the food in the hotel restaurant is also very good. It's great value for money. I unexpectedly celebrated my birthday at the hotel on the day I checked in. Because I arrived at the hotel quite late, I found a cake and champagne in my room when I returned the next day after going out. It was wonderful! 👍"

"Our second visit to Aloe hotel and it is still amazing! We received a very kind room upgrade as returning guests to a sea view split level room which was extremely kind of the management. The attention to detail at this hotels is 5 star and the staff go out of their way to make your stay special and as comfortable as possible. We love all the restaurants nearby and this time hired a car and visited places in the area. We will definitely be back and will stay at Aloe - thank you again to the whole Aloe team! 5 star all the way."

"Just finished a weeks stay at Folia The whole hotel is immaculately clean. Rooms basic but very nice. Fantastic pool with great drinks service. They offer a small simple lunch style menu until 3pm which was always delicious. Friendly and helpful owners and staff. The sunbeds poolside are a little restricted if the hotel is full, however the beach is 5 minute walk with abundance of sunbeds there."

"A very nice hotel, surrounded by greenery, with a pool, clean, spacious rooms, and a small kitchenette and table with chairs. The bathroom is very functional, even equipped with a magnifying makeup mirror. There is no private parking, but the area is very close to a public parking lot near a beautiful pine forest, and there's always a space available, even in August. The breakfast is excellent, with everything you need, including the truly delicious Greek yogurt. The location is strategic, allowing you to reach some beaches on foot through the pine forest. Very kind and helpful staff, excellent value for money, and I recommend this hotel to everyone."

The breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety of options and the hotel’s location was good, near to the Kato Stalos beach. There are many shops so you can get souvenirs. The entire property was well maintained and had a pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again."
