Every hotel staff was smiley, friendly and helpful. We received welcome snacks snd message in the room. The room was modern with air condition, high ceiling and nice amenities. Breakfast was buffet-style as and adequate. Location is very close to many shops and restaurants but without the noise. I enjoyed the deep tissue massage at their spa.
Enhancement areas suggested for Room 11: shower door does not close; the queen bed was two separate single beds put together instead of one mattress, and with separate bedcover sheets instead of one queen sized bedcover sheet; a kettle would have been useful.

The room was spacious and the hotel was super clean and extremely comfortable. Everything felt brand new and the service was really 5 star. We were happily surprised to learn that the indoor swimming pool is actually just a giant jacuzzi. We spent an hour there on our last night which was super nice. The bed is really comfortable and the place is quiet. There is a valet service for parking your car and we got welcome drinks and snacks on arrival. Thanks again for the free bottle of wine and fruit bowl as a VIP welcome gift. We really enjoyed and will come back to this hotel if we ever visit Chania again one day.

We arrived at the hotel before our check in time due to an early morning flight from Cyprus. The staff were very accommodating and allowed us to leave our luggage behind reception until the room was available. We were given 2 free drinks vouchers to use at the bar while we waited for our room. When entering our fifth floor sea view room (505) we were amazed and delighted at the modern luxurious standard consisting of a large double bed, wardrobe with a safe, dressing table 2 comfortable armchairs, a coffee table, hairdryer and clothes steamer. Separate toilet cubicle and a very large rain water shower with all the accessories you would need during your stay which included bathrobes, slippers, shampoo etc. and weight scales which we didn't use 😁 On the work top was a coffee maker machine with pods, kettle and complimentary water, wine and soft drinks in the fridge Also on the table was a tablet with which you could view the restaurant menu and spa menu and lots of information for your convenience. The sea view from the large glass fronted balcony was absolutely stunning and breathtaking and we could see almost to the harbour. Breakfast was included in our booking and was excellent with plenty of variety from cold platters, cereals, pancakes to English style hot breakfast. Our only issue was the plates for hot food were not warmed resulting in luke warm food. We did take this up with the hotel and received an email the next day to thank us for bringing it to their attention. We enjoyed a dinner at the hotel one night which was reasonably priced and of good quality. The hotel location was a 3 minute walk to the sea front with a further 15 minute walk to the harbour and shops and restaurants. Overall this hotel was very worthy of their 4 star rating and we will be back.

GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is definitely very good and a plus point.
We were greeted in a friendly manner and the lady at the bar gave us a welcome drink. The hotel looks quite high-quality at the entrance and you feel like you're in good hands. I would say it's not 5-star level, but around 3.5-4 absolutely.
The room we were given unfortunately had no windows (the description said there was one). No problem for us. Our biggest criticism is that there was no door in the shower because it had been removed. So you couldn't shower properly without water spraying outside. When we told reception, they just said ”we didn't know” and preferred to answer the ringing phone and leave the guest standing there. Who would know if not the hotel, so unfortunately it's far from 5-star service. We expected a small apology and that the problem would be taken care of. I think it's a real shame that you pay so much money and then get a room that doesn't meet the standard and isn't really at the level you want it to be given to guests. Luckily we only spent one day here and had previously spent the week in a real 5-star hotel.
I can really only give this hotel 3/5 stars overall.

GGuest UserWe stayed here with 3 children in August and overall had an a great experience. The room was lovely and spacious, very clean and well equipped. We had an upper floor two bed suite which had some great views. There was some development going on adjacent to the hotel but work had stopped over the summer and it didn’t detract from our experience. The pool was great and a good size for the premises and kept very clean. Plenty of big comfortable sun loungers. It was a short walk to town that had lots of great restaurants down a hill. Free parking and though it would have been fine without a car it was a good base to explore further afield and I guess we might have got a bit bored without this option. Would recommend.

If you need a traditional hotel with a lobby, restaurant & etc, this isn't for you. However, if you are looking to try something unique and stay in a once-in-a-lifetime kind of place, then this is for you. The location is right in the middle of the old town/port area and is set into an old Monastery ruin. Right now the hotel is only using 3 rooms at the moment but from what I have seen online from the prior management's use, there are more areas to be reopened. Our room was spacious, clean and well decorated. The glass floor looking down at an old staircase and the balcony overlooking the square below were bonuses.

UuuyiyWe stayed for nine days and had a wonderful time. The staff were incredibly accomodating and always very helpful. The location is perfect. Our room overlooked a quiet street and the hotel is five minutes walk from the sea front at the port so there is excellent shopping and dining close by. The hotel has been recently renovated so is modern and was very clean. The room was fine, the beds comfortable, there was a smart TV and the bathroom had a rain shower. My one complaint abour the room is the lack or wardrobe space for two people on a longer stay. There was just one tiny wardrobe. The buffet breakfast was very varied with a different selection every day and all was of very good quality. The cleaning staff were perhaps a tad over insistent on occasions and almost rushed us to leave the room after breakfast, but it was not a great inconvenience. We also managed to find a car park just a short walk away. I would certainly stay there again.

LluluThe hotel has 5 rooms in total, 4 on the first floor and 1 on the 2nd floor. This time we booked 2 of them. One is on the 2nd floor with a terrace. The scenery is so beautiful. There is another room on the first floor with no view, purely for sleep and rest, hahahaha, if you want to see the scenery, when you walk out of the room to the small balcony of the hotel, you will have a panoramic view of the port of Chania! We took a sneak peek at the other three rooms on the first floor. They are all loft rooms with stairs. The first floor is a small living room and the bedroom is on the second floor. It feels pretty good too! All in all 100 points recommended for the scenery of chania town and the excellent location of this hotel!

CCurioustraveler99We visited the Halepa hotel after a long time again. The property has now been partially upgraded. Some rooms have been refurbished to a more modern touch, there is a fully functional Gym and a sauna, even an electric car charging station. The roof garden is being used as a relaxation area with a whirlpool. All in all, the hotel has not lost its touch at all! The friendly staff go out of their way to accommodate their guests, and nothing is too much trouble. For me, the hotel's highlight is its location. It is close enough to walk into Chania center, and away from all the noise of the city. The area is full of old charming houses, and in close proximity you will find the house of one of Greece's most longstanding politicians, Eleftherios Venizelos. We definitely will visit again!
