Amazing
This was one of many hotels we looked at but after so many positive reviews about the hotel and the staff it was a no brainer to book and we werenât disappointed. The staff go out of their way to help you always with a friendly smile. The hotel is clean and adults only makes it a bonus. Itâs a 10 second walk from the beach front. The beach is a cove never over crowded and the water is crystal clear and shallow for a long way. Plenty of little shops and places to eat out in this little village. Breakfast in the hotel was good, tasty. Not spoilt for choice but plenty for whatever your tastes. Pool area is great always get a bed. But we mostly went to the beach. Thereâs a car hire place nearby and a trip to Chania Old Town is an absolute must do. Would come back here again for sure and to this lovely hotel. Highly recommend it.

The Chania Hotel is a modern hotel that has good size rooms and balconies. The rooms are very comfortable with a very beautiful shower and the bed is nice. Unfortunately the hotel couldnât meet my pre-stay request of a higher up room and request for an early check-in so I was located on the first floor right across from the stairs. The view wasnât ideal as per picture with constant construction outside during the days. The staircase also doesnât have good acoustics and echoes throughout with peopleâs voices carrying quite loudly. I did ask again for a higher room happy to move rooms but they didnât come back to me on this unfortunately. Breakfast spread was alright not a huge hot variety but the staff were very efficient and friendly. Location was good across from the old town and some good eats around it.

This hotel was perfect on all aspects, the room was amazing, big very clean and well equipped. The view from the balcony and the swimming pool was brilliant! I really enjoyed the spa and the interior pool as well. The restaurant of the hotel was perfect too, the food was really good. But most importantly, the staff of the hotel was highly professional and the nicest people! All of them were very good to us and treated us so well. I include everyone in the staff including the cleaning lady who was so lovely too. All in all this might have been my best holiday in a very long time if not ever. I highly recommend this hotel! Big thank you to everyone at Lagon life spirit boutique hotel, youâve made our stay so perfect!

Three advantages: 1. Right by the sea 2. Good breakfast 3. Good service and a small gift when leaving. Lower your expectations for the rest The town is very quiet and nice, not crowded, and I didn't see any other Chinese people after staying for two days

Can be treated as an all inclusive resort, the hotel is one of the high end ones on Crete. Breakfast is buffet style with various options that should fulfill your appetite and if you eat breakfast a little later can serve as brunch. Location is 20 minutes away from Chania old port if you walk via the beach pathway. To get to your hotel, it may be easier to call for a golfcart service to drive you to your room as the hotel covers a large area. Free gym, and they offer various activities at a charge. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Cleanliness I would say it is Crete clean. There was some dirt or dust marks on our bed sheet and had to get it changed on arrival. Hair can be found on the bottom of the mattress as well. Pillows you get 4 - 5 options, but I still found all of them uncomfortable to my liking as it was too soft or too hard and does not support your neck.

We had a very pleasant stay at Artemis Apartments. The location is wonderful - just a short walk to the beach, and many shops and restaurants nearby. We loved how close everything was, yet the place feels quiet and peaceful. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful (many thanks to Nikos) -always ready to assist with anything we needed. Breakfast was good, though fairly simple and similar from day to day. But I suspect this is because itâs off-season. Some things stood out: the WiFi worked well most of the time, the pool area is lovely and well-maintained, and the value for money is excellent.

I stayed here with my mom for one night, and we were both very impressed. The value for money was excellent, and the room actually exceeded my expectationsâit looked even better in real life than in the photos. We had a beautiful view from the window, and the location was perfect: quiet, yet only a two-minute walk to the beach. Same for bus stop to Chania. The staff were extremely friendly, polite, and helpful, which made us feel very welcome. The room was spotless, as was the bathroom, and it was equipped with everything we needed. It felt more like a small apartment, complete with a kitchen and a spacious balcony where we really enjoyed spending time. We liked it so much that we even wanted to extend our stay, but unfortunately the rooms were already fully booked for our dates. Overall, a wonderful experience and a place I would definitely recommend.

Very Good
I knew as soon as I heard goats with their little bells on that Iâd like this place. Quiet, quaint, country accomodation on the way to Samaria Gorge. The family who run it were all lovely, and mum even made me up a picnic to take on the hike before dad gave us a lift to the starting point. Maybe itâs because it never happens back home, but I ordered a beer downstairs upon arrival, and got given free olives - that made my absolute day and, though previously incorruptible, my loyalty was bought instantly and totally. I also had the rabbit fry up thingo, which tasted great, although the salad itself was even better, though it curse my carnivorous tongue to say it. The bedroom had a great balcony for looking out over the green and rocky hills. Bed was super comfy, and it actually was a little colder way up in the Omalos elevation (in June) which made sleep come very easily for those like me who run hot. Big fluffy blanket in the cupboard though for those of you who like to be warmer. The bathroom is a bit small and being on the tall end of the height spectrum I had to be wary not to knock myself out on the hand basin when using the toilet. But if youâre under 6 foot youâll patting your genetics on their small back. The building is relatively old so expect to hear some footfalls as other guests go past your room, but other than that, blissfully quiet overnight. The daughter of the family speaks really good English which helped a couple times, when regretfully I seemed to have forgotten all my Greek (which I rudely hadnât learned prior to arriving). I canât recommend this homely hotel enough, so if youâre on your way to hike the gorge, park your car here and stay the night. Then stay in Agia Romelli at the very end of the hike. Then come back to Omalos the next day and get some home style cooking back into your weary body. Or whatever floats your ferry.

We stayed here with my mom for one night, and we were absolutely delighted with this hotel. From the moment we arrived, we knew it was special. The location is perfectâset in a peaceful village, just a one-minute walk to a wide, spacious beach with easy access to the water. The room was spotless, freshly renovated, and even smelled pleasant. We had a large balcony with a table, and everything was so clean that when we wiped the table, there wasnât even a trace of dust. The attention to detail in the cleaning was truly impressive. The owner was wonderful to meetâso kind, welcoming, and generous. He treated us to fresh fruit and shared many helpful tips about the area, making our stay feel extra personal and warm. Breakfast was another highlight: homemade, delicious, and prepared with so much care. This hotel completely won us overâthe location, the atmosphere, the hospitality, everything was perfect. We already dream of coming back and staying longer.

Very Good
Today, I have landed back home after spending amazing week at this family-run hotel. I can definitely tell you that it was one of the best holidays I have ever had, filled with nice people and great Greek weather. The hotel is located very conveniently, you have a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. Lidl is just 5-7 min walk. Next to the hotel there was a great coffee shop- Move on. Next to the hotel there is a bus stop which will take you to Chania city centre for a nice promenade and a delicious dinner. Hotel itself is of an apartment style with amazing pool which was always well-maintained and clean. Every day the girls made sure that our room is clean and we have new towels, and they were making quite impressive compositions from flowers and towelsđ The manager of the hotel was extremely friendly and always dealt efficiently with any requests we had. Breakfast was delicious and overall our stay was extremely enjoyable. Definitely visit this hotel to feel the amazing Greek hospitality.
