Hotels Near Chaozhou West Park in Chaozhou

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in recently. Although it takes about 40 minutes (via Didi Car) to travel from Chaosan Station, the hotel is nicely located opposite West Lake/Park and near major tourist attractions (Kai Yuan Temple开元寺, GuangJi Tower/Wall/Bridge 广济桥), shops and eateries (Paifang Food Street牌坊街, XiNan Food Street 西南路). There are a few decent restaurants just beside the hotel too. Art Hotel Han Si XiHu lives up to its name as the hotel is beautifully decorated with art pieces, especially at the lounge area where there is a nightly Chinese string instrument (Guzheng) performance (except Tuesdays). A shoutout to the hotel staff : - the warm and helpful reception staff (Miss Chen 陈小姐 and Miss Li 李小姐） - the excellent housekeeping staff who thoughtfully supplied extra coffee bags after knowing I drink coffee - the service staff who did not just walk past me but greeted me and also introduced me to the free Chaozhou dessert (evenings only) and tea provided at the reception lounge The hotel room we booked was very spacious and the amenities were adequate and of high quality (think there isn’t a room safe but no biggie). There was even a complete tea set to make a proper cup of Chinese tea. A room air purifier and dehumidifier are provided. The bed is big and comfortable with adequate pillows. The aircon here works perfectly unlike other hotels’ useless control settings. I like the huge projector screen entertainment system except there isn’t much to offer non-Chinese guests. Soundproofing-wise, we could occasionally hear neighbouring room doors close and people talking in the corridors but it wasn’t a big issue. The shower and toilet area is large but the entire floor will become wet & slippery after a shower as there isn’t a screen to contain the spray from the shower. The hotel does provide a floor mat and bathroom slippers to prevent slipping.

I chose several hotels and B&Bs near the ancient city. I finally chose Monet Garden next to the ancient city. It opened in 2024 and is very new. The decoration is exquisite. I wanted to stay for one night, but it was very good, so I added another night. Xiaoyu at the front desk later upgraded to a 180 panoramic twin room. The layout of the room is very elegant and the bed is very comfortable. The large glass is very transparent, which is exactly the type of room I like. Xiaoyu is very beautiful and the service is very good. She added me on WeChat and told us about the food strategy. The hotel we stayed in is on Xima Road. It is very convenient to go anywhere to eat food. You can go to Guangji Bridge along the Paifang Street, so the location of the hotel is very important when you go out to play😊. . In short, everyone made the right choice. .

It was my first time staying at Orange Hotel. I was very satisfied. The room was big and comfortable. The 2-meter bed was comfortable for a family of three. The breakfast was simple but ok. The street where the hotel is located is relatively quiet. There is a food street on the other side of the main road with a lot of food. There are many electric cars at the door. We traveled by electric cars, which was very convenient to go to the attractions. The overall feeling is very good. Recommended!

At first slight difficult to find the place and the DiDi driver was not able to send me to the doorstep, I had to use goggle map to navigate myself to there from main street to there under the hot sun. But realized that it was easy after I managed to locate it. The Staff are friendly and nice to talk to. Willing to help and recommend good food to me. The room is neat, tidy and clean. But a bit noisy due to the loud voice and play of children. The wall sound insulation effect is not that good.

The innkeeper was warm and considerate. Due to traffic control in the ancient city, cars could not enter, so the innkeeper specially went to the city gate to pick us up. The inn was also decorated very carefully, with a good sanitary environment and a good location, close to Guangji Tower and the memorial archway, a quiet place in a bustling city. I will stay at his house next time I come to Chaozhou.

I chose this place specially because I wanted to feel the atmosphere of Chaozhou's old houses. I arrived at midnight. The boss waited so late. The old house was renovated, and the facilities were definitely limited, but it was clean. The old house is full of life and is really beautiful. The two dogs in the house are also cute, very quiet, and you can pet them at will.
