Li Yuan Xiang Li Ya Ge Hotel

A very good hotel. Except for the weak internet, everything else is great.

I signed up for a three-day tour of Sichuan Province with my child and mother. On the first day, we stayed at a hotel halfway up Mount Emei, and on the second day, we chose the Liyuanxiang Hotel. The tour ended in Chengdu at 7 PM on the third day without a night's accommodation. While the hotel's decor was dated, the cleanliness was acceptable. Since we had to leave for Dujiangyan at around 6:00 AM on the third day, we extended our stay by over 500 yuan. After a day of exploring Dujiangyan and Qingcheng Mountain, we returned to the hotel that night to find that our room had no internet access. I called the front desk, and a staff member came up to check. They said there was a problem with the room's internet switch and that they had to wait for engineering to come the next day. I told them that even if engineering couldn't fix it tomorrow, they still had to come up with other options, like connecting to the internet in the next room or using the networks upstairs or downstairs. The staff tried repeatedly, but they couldn't find my room number, and the neighboring room also kept showing no connection. I'd spent over 500 yuan on a room, and then, after being away during the day and returning to relax and play at night, my phone still had no internet access. In this age of advanced internet speed and in Chengdu, a high-tech city, I am speechless about the way this hotel handled the situation.

The rooms are traditional and generally quite comfortable.

The environment is very good and the hygiene is good.
