Traveling solo, I found the room clean and very comfortable. The private bathroom and shower were a definite plus. There were quite a few foreign guests staying at the hostel, which created a really nice atmosphere.

The hostel is conveniently located just above the metro station and 3 minutes’ walk from the coach station. There are quite a number of eateries nearby. There’s a supermarket downstairs and a snacks supermarket steps away. Wifi works well and hot water works well. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Compared to price and service, the atmosphere is actually the most important thing in a hostel. None of the hostels I've stayed at before had that travel vibe. This one I chose in Chengdu didn't feel like a last resort for someone looking for a job. Even though I didn't talk much with my roommates, the common area felt so lively and joyful. There were many foreigners staying there, and everyone seemed to be having a great time together. The subway station downstairs is very convenient, and there are lots of restaurants nearby too.
