We went there on the 29th day of the twelfth ***** month and returned on the 6th day of the first ***** month. We booked 4 days first and renewed for 3 days. The stay was very comfortable, high-tech, Xiaodu Xiaodu service was good, hot water was available in seconds, and breakfast was rich starting on the 3rd day of the first ***** month. On the morning of the 5th day of the first ***** month, someone was smoking, and the fire alarm went off, asking us to evacuate. It was a scare, so we called the front desk and it was a false alarm. The pillow was really comfortable, I really wanted to buy one to take home. There are many delicious foods around, convenient travel, and close to all attractions. A small gift was given when I left the hotel. I will choose to stay here again when I go to Chongqing in the future.

The hotel I stayed at this time really surprised me! As soon as I entered the door, I was cured by the atmosphere of the lobby. The lighting was warm and the music was soft. The front desk lady smiled very kindly. The check-in was super fast and she took the initiative to help me upgrade the room.
The room was clean enough to make me walk barefoot, the bed was super soft, the pillows were very comfortable, and the whole person was relaxed when I lay down. The bathroom is well separated from wet and dry, the toiletries taste very high, and it is very comfortable to use.
Breakfast made me amazing, the variety was so dazzling, the fresh noodles, the hot buns, everything was delicious. Hotel location is also very convenient, go out is the subway station
In short, this is a hotel I will definitely return to visit, Amway has given several friends!

The experience of staying at the Glenton Hotel really exceeded expectations and must be praised!
From the beginning of stepping into the hotel lobby, you can feel the strong warm atmosphere, the decoration is simple and stylish, and the light is soft and relaxing. The service of the young lady at the front desk was particularly intimate, the check-in speed was very fast, and she also took the initiative to introduce the hotel's facilities and the convenience messages around. The smile was particularly infectious.
The room was even more surprising, clean and there was no dead corner, the sheets and bedding were with a faint fragrance, and it was particularly comfortable to lie on. The facilities are also very new, the air conditioning heating and cooling are very powerful, the hot water supply is sufficient, the water pressure is just right, and a hot bath can be used to relieve fatigue. What I am most satisfied with is the sound insulation effect. It is quiet at night and will not be disturbed by the outside sound. I sleep until dawn. WWwdaxiaowangArriving in Chongqing from Shijiazhuang, our subsequent stay during this trip was at the Regent Hotel. Let me just say upfront, this review of the Regent reflects the genuine experience of my family and me.
The hotel's facilities are exceptionally comprehensive, and they truly think of everything for their guests. Even hair curlers are available, and they can provide retainer cases and contact lens care supplies. We hadn't brought contact lenses due to travel inconvenience, nor had I brought my retainer, but honestly, staying at the Regent, you truly don't need to worry about such small details. Speaking of facilities, the hotel offers a swimming pool, a bar, Chinese and Western restaurants, kids' DIY activities, and much more.
Despite being a nine-year-old hotel, it is immaculately clean and well-maintained. The overall ambiance and design are very stylish and perfectly complement Chongqing's local culture and charm, with excellent attention to detail.
But above all, it was the service that truly stood out and was the primary reason I chose the Regent. I experienced the hotel's exceptional service two days before check-in, when they proactively inquired about our room preferences and requirements, even offering a choice of pillows. Upon arrival at the hotel, a dedicated staff member was there to open the car door, and our luggage was promptly taken care of by another staff member. During check-in, we were even presented with thoughtful and exquisite children's gift sets. While waiting in the lounge, a warm and welcoming staff member offered us drinks. After a brief respite, we entered our room to find it meticulously prepared for us, including the arrangement of latex and buckwheat pillows. The mattress was a KingKoil, and while the sleeping experience, though excellent, was perhaps a tad less perfect than our premium mattress at home, it was still very good. The toilet was a TOTO with a Washlet, and as someone who's had experience with TOTO products, I was thoroughly impressed.
The staff members were all very enthusiastic and patiently answered and handled any questions or requests. Daily housekeeping and turndown service were provided, ensuring the room was spotless, tidy, and created a wonderfully inviting ambiance. Thoughtful touches like glasses cleaning cloths, weather cards, cable ties, premium bath amenities, and even handling of laundry were all impeccable. The staff at the DIY area, swimming pool, Two Rivers Bar, and dining areas were all exceptionally good. My son was right at the 1.2-meter height threshold, yet they didn't charge for his meals.
The hotel gifted us Chongqing noodles as a souvenir, and we were even allowed to keep the room key cards as a memento. They also gave us dessert vouchers, and we received beautifully packed desserts to enjoy on our journey home. My sincere gratitude once again to every single staff member.
Well, I'll stop here; there are simply too many thoughtful details to list them all. This hotel truly sets a benchmark that many others should aspire to!

TTan Boon CLocation is good. Hotel lobby on level 25 is tastefully decorated and has nice views. Fay and counter staff provided good service. Ben is enthusiastic and has good attitude/service. They are all working towards providing quality service to guests (though I did not manage to get all their names). Keep up the good work!

From there, we could walk to nearby busy and vibrant shopping streets/local restaurants/cafes/attractions including Hongyadong. The staff was very friendly, respectful and always available to help us during our stay. Our room was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Highly recommended.

The hotel is on the 27th floor. The room was spacious and clean with modern design. The view was amazing.
The girl at the reception was really helpful, helped us with washing and drying our clothes.
The location is ideal. Cable car station is right next to the hotel. Metro line is close so we easily got to Liziba station. Hongyadong is within comfortable walking distance.
I recommend it.

GGuest UserThe staff does everything you ask for very quickly! The room and its view is stunning and the bed is really cozy! You also have many attractions and food spots with 1km. I stayed at the 36th Floor and the view is amazing. The room is a bit modern “old fashioned” which is nice because everything works automatically.
Unfortunately i was a solo traveler, but i can imagine how stunning it would be to go here as a couple!

The aircon kept increasing in temp up to 27C although set at 20C...when informed, reception said it was centralised and nothing can be done... Just switch off the aircon and open the window! - so why put aircon control in room in the first place?
No sign in English for foreign tourist to find this hotel therefore confusing to find as there are 3 hotels in the same building!
The windows are NOT cleaned, so although I had the bridge view due to the dirty windows, it was NOT worth the price.

GGuest UserOverall, as stated by many other reviews, this hotel is the value-for-money champion. Personally, I would rate if a hotel were a real five star hotel or simply a 'self-proclaimed' five star hotel based on the service rendered. Le Meridien Chongqing excelled in this aspect. Every staff member I had interacted with was friendly and warm.
Check-in: Was swift and unlike many chinese hotels which are distrusting of their customers, they did not ask for a deposit. Saves the hassle.
Room: It was spacious, I had previously read some other reviews which complained about the red cupboard at the entrance was terrifying, but personally I liked the chinese style decor. The aircon was slightly noisy and not the most effective, but I liked sleeping in a slightly cooler room. The bed was comfortable, although one side seemed to be more 'slept in' than the other, possibly a sign of the hotel's age. I did also notice some stains and wear and tear in the room but it was nothing serious so I will let that slide. The greatest sign of wear and tear is the shower head, which although was Hansgrohe branded, felt like it was about to break when I tried to change the shower mode. Toiletries were from the Malin+Goetz brand, which I really liked! But of course, ThisWorks branded ones used by Marriott hotels are slightly better.
Facilities: There was an indoor pool and a well-equipped gym- with a smith machine, something that is not available in some 5 star hotels. Impressive!
Breakfast: This was the greatest let down in the stay experience. As I was going up the lift, I noticed a sign stating that breakfast was on promotion at 68RMB per person. That could not mean anything good. The breakfast experience was cut to the bone. There were almost no hot cooked food options, except from basics such as eggs, toast, cooked chongqing noodles(plain) and dumplings. There is simply no way that this acceptable as a 5 star hotel breakfast, something that seems to be mentioned by other reviewers.
Other hotel restaurants- Not too sure why I bothered to try out the other hotel restaurants after the disappointing breakfast but, the chinese restaurant served food that was tasty, but the so-called ala-carte buffet was not great. The food options seemed like leftovers from another hotel buffet or something, and I counted a total of 5 pieces of beef when I ordered the dish 'black pepper beef'. Service was good and seemed well-intentioned though, although they seemed puzzled that I was not ordering more-- The food was not good!
Location: Located in Nan'an, I had chosen this hotel as it offered better value for money than its 5 star competitors in JieFangBei or the Conrad. It was also located in front of a Rail Transit station although I only used it once since the trains were crowded and it was quicker to grab a DiDi around. I think the biggest plus regarding its location is the adjacent Wanda Plaza, which had everything from a Sephora, Uniqlo and many other shops. I regretted not visiting it first before hopping on the train.
To summarise, I would recommend a first time visitor to Chongqing to stay in this hotel, but would I visit it again? Perhaps not, as I would like to try out other options in Chongqing that are newer, and can provide better breakfasts.

GGary SeetThe hotel might seem a little aged at first but the service and interior still wow from the first moment you step in. The room I booked was clean and spacious. The housekeeping did their job excellent. They have everything inside you could ask; washing detergent, iron, laundry rack, etc. Front desk was superb; fast check-in, great advice when asking for recommendations, and efficient when asking for items like extra water. The robot was a great thing to have as all my delivery are sent to my doorstep. All in all, this is a 10/10 solid stay. Oh, the breakfast have a great great selection and taste great too. And there is vending machine in lobby if u need any last minute groceries or even a wake up coffee. Thank you.

LLawrenceI had an amazing stay at this hotel. Located in the perfect spot across from the Singapore-China Towers. I was able to walk to all the restaurants and entertainment. The subway is right next to the building so that was perfect. I give this place a five star because it had everything I needed and the bed was very comfortable.
