NOVOTEL Chongqing Airport

This has to be one of the most outrageous hotel experiences I've ever had. The airport shuttle service was a nice touch, but that's where the good ended. Despite the outdoor temperature being around 10 degrees Celsius, our top-floor room was constantly a sweltering 27-28 degrees. The AC unit only allowed for fan mode, with no cooling function available. I was boiling all night. When I called the front desk in the early hours, sweating profusely, they informed me that all portable cooling fans had been borrowed by other guests. Their solution? To open our room door and balcony door to air out the room ourselves. I've never heard of a hotel asking guests to sleep with their room door open for ventilation! After opening the doors, the room temperature dropped to 26 degrees, but as soon as we closed them, it became incredibly hot again. I woke up drenched in sweat, with the thick duvet adding to the discomfort, only to see the thermostat still at 27 degrees. It's clear the hotel had no contingency plan for guests complaining about the heat, which led to a frustrating late-night ordeal. Since we had an early flight, we didn't bother repacking and moving rooms, but the entire experience was absolutely terrible.

I was truly impressed by the Novotel Chongqing Airport! The lobby's Chinese New Year decorations were so festive and full of traditional charm 🧧. The front desk staff, especially Wangna, provided incredibly thoughtful service ✨. She proactively wished us a Happy New Year, and her check-in process was warm, professional, and efficient. She even meticulously helped us arrange airport transfers and patiently guided us to the elevators. The room view was absolutely stunning 👍, feeling spacious and comfortable, making our stay super relaxing! During our stay, a staff member also helped us with laundry, providing such thorough service. Staying here for Chinese New Year was incredibly comfortable, definitely a full five-star review 💯.

I highly recommend this hotel! The Novotel Chongqing Airport offers clean and comfortable rooms with excellent facilities. Lily provided incredibly thoughtful service; she was enthusiastic, proactive, and always smiling, which made me feel very welcome. The three restaurants serve a wide variety of delicious food, with the 'Jianghu Grilled Fish' being particularly outstanding. The Mercedes-Benz airport pickup service was a luxurious and convenient touch. The hotel is large, and the value for money is exceptional. The lobby bar on the first floor is perfect for photos. It's also incredibly close to the airport, just a few minutes' drive away, making it the most hassle-free option for early flights or layovers. Five stars, I highly recommend it to everyone!

Extremely satisfied! The front desk staff were excellent, and the airport shuttle service was great. The room was very comfortable and clean, with good soundproofing. Thumbs up! It even had a bathtub, and all the facilities were brand new. Definitely worth staying here!

The service felt genuinely sincere, not just going through the motions, and it offers great value for money.
