JJOOZWAYI have always wanted to experience the beauty of Qiandao Lake. It was my birthday so I rewarded myself with a trip to Qiandao Lake. For such a leisurely vacation, the choice of homestay is so important! Yungu Songjian Homestay was planted as soon as I saw its pictures. It is surrounded by mountains and has a white two-story building. It has a unique atmosphere even on rainy days. It also has a large swimming pool. It is also very good for taking photos at night. The afternoon tea is exquisite and delicious. They can also provide full meals. They are all authentic specialties. They are delicious and tasty. The staff of the homestay are very enthusiastic. They will take the initiative to ask about your needs and everything is arranged properly! You can feel the kindness and warmth. This really gave me a great experience of the trip to Qiandao Lake!

GGuest UserI traveled to Qiandao Lake in late August and chose two hotels that were highly recommended. I had high expectations for Minghao and specially arranged to stay in the second one. The result was quite different from what I imagined.
First of all, I was very satisfied with the room hygiene and facilities. It is a newly opened hotel. The sanitary napkins and shower room are separated, and the constant temperature shower is good. What I was not satisfied with was that the balcony of the third-floor room was blocked by a half-person-high wall, and the lake could not be seen from the house. Even now, the balcony is not high enough and is blocked by trees, so the view is not wide. It is recommended to choose rooms on the fourth floor and above.
On the morning of the check-in day, the housekeeper called and added WeChat, and sent the arrangement of special summer activities and the business hours of various facilities. The content looked rich and colorful, but it was actually very special. Most of the parent-child activities were set up in a booth in the lobby. No one organized it, and no children participated. The form was greater than the content. The outdoor swimming pool that I was looking forward to was far away from the hotel lobby and could not be accessed indoors. It took a long time to walk under the scorching sun. The road was not separated by people and cars, which was very inconvenient, and it was only open in the afternoon. Some vouchers were given upon check-in, but they all have thresholds. The two free ice cream coupons also have a time limit. I didn't have time to use them in the end. I blame myself for not seeing the activity time clearly. The main playground is not as big as I imagined. I personally think it is less than 3,000 square meters, but it is enough to play. Many areas in it have empty shelves, the carousel is not always open, and the ground in the overall walking area is really hard.
Five apples were given as souvenirs when I checked out. The attitude of the hotel staff is also very good, but there is always a feeling of being forced to operate, and I can't feel it from the heart. The overall feeling is that they want to build a high-end hotel, but they only achieve the form, not the spirit. It is not recommended for vacation.

GGuest UserThis time I came to Qiandao Lake with the elders of my family. The hotel is very convenient for traveling and the service is beyond expectations. The buffet is quite rich, and the service staff has been busy cleaning the table. The rooftop terrace allows you to take pictures of the scenery in the middle of the lake, and you don’t need any technical skills to make a film. Every corner of the hotel is clean. When we left the hotel, the lady at the front desk gave us warm mineral water for the elderly to drink on the way. Service details💯💯💯

GGuest UserI strongly recommend you experience a stay at Hilton Hangzhou Qiandaohu. It was one of the most comfortable stays ever. Maksim, one of the hotel employees, helped us from the start to the end. As a Korean, traveling in China is extremely difficult because of the language barrier. Although, I speak English, most of the Chinese do not. But, Maksim was able to speak 4 languages fluently; Korean, English, Russian and Chinese. He was happy to answer any questions regardless of time. So, if you are a foreigner considering a visit to Qiandaohu, Hilton is the place, and find Maksim when you do so. The hotel upgraded my room when I got there and prepared a nice welcoming fruit in the room. The hotel has a lot of fun activities, and nice restaurants. My girlfriend and I had an unforgettable memories here.

MMLFooThe hotel switched off the central air conditioning making the whole hotel including our room very stuffy in the hot afternoons and at night. The quilt cover in bed was very thick but we could not adjust the room temperature so I was woken up by the heat in the middle of the night and couldn’t sleep again. We opened the window but the road noise kept me awake at about 5 am in the morning. I had very poor sleep because of this. The Chinese restaurant had a great view but we left after 2 minutes because it was super hot and stuffy at 530pm, we couldn’t enjoy the nice lake view at that restaurant. Hotel F&B is very expensive, the 2kg fish head soup cost CNY580. You can have a 1.8kg fish head soup at CNY168 which is very delicious, just outside the hotel on the food street. We ordered the fried rice which cost CNY88. The F&B vouchers cannot be used for alcoholic beverages. Basically we book an accommodation for good night sleep but this hotel, despite all the seemingly nice peripherals, couldn’t even ensure a comfortable sleeping environment hence not worth the money. We didn’t use all the other vouchers as we only stayed 2 nights, no time to use. Free Minibar is only for 1 night. There is only 1 small can of beer, not 2 as some earlier reviews mentioned. This is the only accommodation among all our stays that didn’t provide proper air conditioning, it’s very disappointing. Not recommended. The hotel staff are all very nice though.

LLana 064I loved the lake view from my room, and highly recommend higher floors.
The bathtub with the open view was also amazing,the beds were soft and sleek.
However,I would not rate this hotel as 5 stars; the decor is quite old with its dark colours, a bit worn out wallpapers and quite old carpets in the corridor.
It was very noisy with lots of families and their kids.
Buliding 1 has two lifts only and you end up waiting and being squashed in a lift all the time.
Coming down to breakfast restaurant was about strange as the lift takes you to the basement parking so one needs to go past the cars unless you want to walk outside the building.The breakfast was buzzing with too many people impatient to que politely.
Most importantly, I really feel the front desk service needs a lot of improvement; I understand that nobody speaks English, we can use translators,but noone welcomed me properly and wished me a nice stay: my Alipay and passport only mattered.
I was lucky with Xio Qian ( front desk boy) who offered to help and share the information about amenities and trips around the lake. I am very grateful to him.
The gym in building 5 was a disappointment;
One swimming pool is to be shared between 4 other buildings. Because it rained, the water was quite cold in the pool.
Overall,this hotel would suit families and kids mainly,but i would not recommend it to single expats and certainly would not rate it as a 5 star hotel.

YYuxiaoyaoThe location is excellent, the surrounding facilities are complete, and you can walk to various restaurants and shops on Yu Street. The hotel has complete facilities, including free parking, swimming pool, gym, robot, laundry room, etc., which provides great convenience for customers.
Clean and sanitary, spacious rooms, lake view outside the room balcony, very comfortable and enjoyable.
The hotel front desk and the cleaning staff are enthusiastic and patient, providing help and answering questions. Special thanks to the beautiful Miss Ye Jing at the front desk, who solved our needs in a timely manner (the room needs a table for the computer, and immediately contacted the staff to send the table).
The breakfast is quite satisfactory and can basically meet the customer's choice. The only drawback is that the coffee in the coffee machine is too bad, and some employees in the restaurant need to be trained. Customers should ask in time when they encounter problems, instead of speaking dialect and blaming customers at the first time.
This accommodation experience is still very good. Next time I come to Qiandao Lake, I will give priority to Novotel!

AAlexander 压力山大The hotel is located in the best spot in the town, so you you'll find it very convenient roaming around from here. The place is surrounded by the best fish restaurants. There's a bike rental right in front of the hotel.
The room was clean is spacious. The shower is awesome in case you need to warm yourself up real quick after a winter walk. I strongly recommend to you to get a round corner room (ours was 2607) with the city view, in this case you'll have a purely magnificent panoramic view on the mountain valley to the Sunset side + city with the night city lights + a part of the lake (check out the photos).
The service was great. They brought us fruit as a Chinese New Year gift.
We had a late train back to Hangzhou and the weather was nasty outside, they agreed to let us stay until 20:00 for half the price.
The TV had a lot of movies in English, so it was great too. Breakfast was a typical Chinese one, but I found something for myself as well and it was enough.
The mini fridge was removed from the room for some weird reason, as I understand, since there's a place for it, but that's not a big deal.
We had an awesome time staying here and definitely will come here again soon!
