The location is suitable for me - about 7 mins walk to the METRO, and also Nyhavn (that scenic area with the colourful houses by the pier). The hotel is situated on a quite street and there is a variety of eating places nearby (Italian, burgers, Japanese fusion, Thai, Vietnamese, European) and a 7-11 at the corner. Basically, the location is good for the price point. However, you need to be aware that this is a chain and very popular among other European tourists, including UK and USA. So they have a lot of rooms, and have taken over the next building.
The rooms are clean when you check-in but they dont clean everyday. If you need cleaning, inform the reception before 10pm and your room will be cleaned the next day. Tap water is potable but if you prefer bottled water - there's 7-11 at the corner and a grocery store (Netto) behind.
For a solo traveler, the room feels cozy but for 2 persons, it's gonna be tight; no space to open your luggage.
I would recommend this hotel if you need a functional place to stay. Nothing luxurious but serves its purpose.
Other than that

I recently stayed at Next House Copenhagen, and I can honestly say it was one of the best hostel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, with a stylish, modern design that made the place feel more like a boutique hotel than a budget stay.
The location is fantastic—central and within walking distance of Copenhagen Central Station, Tivoli Gardens, and many of the city’s key attractions. It made exploring the city super convenient.
What really stood out was the attention to detail and comfort. The rooms were compact but cleverly designed, with cozy beds, personal reading lights, and lockers for security. Everything was spotless and well-maintained. I especially appreciated the quiet sleeping pods which offered privacy despite the shared room setting.
Next House offers tons of amenities you don’t usually get in hostels. There’s a gym, cinema room, rooftop bar with great city views, a football court, and even live music in the evenings. The communal areas are buzzing with energy and make it incredibly easy to meet people from all over the world. It’s the perfect mix of social and chill.
The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready with tips or a smile. You can tell they care about creating a great experience for guests.
If you’re looking for a budget-friendly yet high-quality stay in Copenhagen, Next House is a no-brainer. Whether you’re a solo traveler, a digital nomad, or a group of friends, this place has something for everyone. I’ll definitely be back!

The location of the hotel is really good, and it is very convenient to take the subway to visit tourist attractions. However, it is the smallest hotel I have stayed in during my entire trip, and the kettle is also the dirtiest.

It is overall okay for me. There is a bar downstairs, it is a good option for solo or group travelers.
For dorm room, it is no curtain, a bit lack of privacy. But the toilet and shower is okay and clean. There is locker inside the dorm room but you have to prepare your own lock.
The location is 10-15 minute walk from city centre.

Being with two in the room, there isn’t much privacy you get for the bathroom. It is surrounded by milk glass and a sliding door which can’t be locked.

Pro’s
- really good location; most things are walking distance but there’s also a metro nearby. Easy to access from airport too
- Comfy bed
- Room and bathroom were a decent size
- You can store your luggage before checking in / after check out
Con’s
- No aircon. We actually coped fine without it but would have been good to have it
- Located on a railway line. We didn’t get kept up by the trains but our room was located at the back thankfully
- No fridge in the room
- Cleaning was ok - the floor was a little dirty and some hairs on the bed

It's a modern looking, slightly hipster hotel. The room are clean and spacious in Europe context. The design is smart where I especially like the Basin is outside of the bathroom, which mean both person can split the task of cleaning up after you wake up. The nearby are full of eateries that you can choose and it's very near to the train station too. It's definitely a good value for money considering how expensive is Copenhagen!

The location is not far from the Town Hall. It consists of two sections (different entrances) - a bar (the reception is also there), the next door leads to the hostel rooms, which occupy six floors. The elevator (of an old design) goes only to the fifth - so those who got a room on the sixth will have to walk one more floor up.The rooms are quite cramped, the top bed is suspended on pipes, which can give the impression that you are in a basement. On the entire floor - only two toilets, two sinks and three showers. The kitchen as such is not available to guests - there is a small dark room on the ground floor under the bar - which contains two small refrigerators, a microwave, a kettle. There is not even a sink with running water - this can be difficult if you need to wash your own dishes, fruits/vegetables, etc.

The hotel is located in a busy commercial area, and it is very convenient to various attractions. The hotel is old and distinctive, the rooms are clean and quiet. I booked too many rooms, and the hotel is very humane. I also refunded it. It's good👍

Great
QQIANI was thinking that I could wash clothes during the journey, so I decided this service apartment. I personally don't recommend it, although it's not bad location. But if you take luggage, the stairs are very difficult to walk. The room was clean, but the kettle was dirty. All equipment was very simple. The lights in the hall were so low that each of us hit. Then there was no front desk, we booked with Trip.com, and we did not receive a confirmation email. When you arrive at the hotel, you have to call yourself to ask how to get in.

GGuest UserHotel location is just awesome. Five minutes away from the main attraction Nyhavn but not exactly in the midst of the crowd. It is situated by the waterways and just about seven minutes away from the main metro station Kongens Nyrtov and is very easy to get to the airport on line M2. The canal tours and hop on hop off bus are easy to get on, not far from the hotel.
The breakfast is nice and the staff are friendly and helpful.
The room is a bit small as in most hotels in Europe and being in a central location makes it a bit pricey. However it is very good value and I would certainly book again.

BBranimirPLocation great, clean, kind stuff, great breakfast, everything was nice. Room was in a minimalistic Scandinavian style and had enough space for three of us and luggage. Gym and kids play ground are in the hotel. Luggage lockers are near kids play ground so you can leave your luggage 10/15 DKR per hour. On railway station price is 100 DKR for 24 hours only.

HhuahuaflyThe hotel is located in the heart of Copenhagen, within walking distance of the city's main attractions. The rooms feature a warm Nordic home style and are large in size. The service staff are very polite and the breakfast offers a wide variety. The surroundings are very quiet and just a stone's throw away from the New Harbor and the canal.

GGuest UserNeat enough old hotel in the heart of Copenhagen near all things of interest, we enjoyed being able to walk out and find food, transport, parks and shops close by. The hotel itself is a classic old Copenhagen building which shows its age and while I'm sure some find it charming, I would say it's a bit below the standard you come to expect from more modern buildings. The staff was friendly and wanted to accommodate us although the cleaning staff seemed so into their own business that they wouldn't even notice us as we tried getting into the hotel's single elevator, rushing in before us so we almost collided as it didn't seem they were gonna come back inside the lift having just exited. No polite apologies either and on top of that the hallway was at almost all times we came through them, day or night, full of trolleys with used towels, jackets hanging on random hooks and generally just felt cluttered. Don't know if this was on all floors but it gave a weird impression disorder walking through the already-creaky hallway.
As for the room itself, it covered our needs and we didn't have issues with noises from other guests other than those walking through the hallway but at least the walls, floor and ceiling didn't cause disturbance. The beds were a little too soft for our liking and left us feeling sore the day after. Also a shame we didn't get the double-bed we had requested during the booking process. Somehow they mixed that up and reception staff didn't seem to know what our booking involved when we showed up. We decided the twin beds provided could be pushed together instead and leave it at that as we had been up at 4 in the morning and were exhausted. A final note on the room would be the weird furniture choices. You get these bed side tables that look like a school kid's wood working project, kind of rough around the edges and felt very cheap and sort of sloppy from a decorating point of view. In contrast, the reception cafe has a wonderful interior and is very charming so I was a fair bit disappointed that the room gave me this impression.
All in all, the hotel covered the features it should but I had really expected better from the impression I got when making the booking originally. Location is, however, enough of a pull to make up for the negative aspects. Perfect location for sightseeing and access everywhere.

MMijumaiziVery close to the train station, 5 minutes walk. It has a great sense of design, and the layout and furniture in the lobby are also very nice. It is worthy of being a five-star hotel designed by a master. Fruit, cookies or coffee are available in the lobby. We checked out early in the morning, around five o'clock, and these services were also available. The room layout is very good, with soft couches and tables, which is very practical.
