The hotel is located at the highest point of the village, next to the church, 5 minutes away. It is very quiet, and the room is very good. The bed, quilt, and pillows are very dry and warm on the side of the humid Lancang River. If you go to Anjiluo, the boss will help you carpool and guide, and Achi Village The price is the same. The cheapest hotel to stay in Diqing, very cost-effective.

The hotel is located south of Cizhong Village. The overall decoration is very good and the rooms are large. The altitude is not high, so living here is very comfortable. It is a good choice to stay here in Antarctica. There is a Catholic church in this village, and there is a grape grower next to it to make wine, and you can also drink some. Along the way from Lijiang, Tiger Leaping Gorge, Shangri-La, and Yubeng, my sister’s home has the most complete environment and room facilities. Moreover, her family is very hospitable and the food they cook is very delicious. From Ninong to Ci During the trip to Nanjieluo and back to Shangri-La, my sister immediately helped contact the guide and driver. On the way to Nanjieluo, she also enthusiastically cared about the arrival situation. It is very suitable as a transfer station to Nanjieluo because of the time. This trip to Nanjieluo only went to Lakes 1-9 of the Grand Ring Road. Next time I go to Lakes 10-12, I will continue to choose Ajie’s house. Shengjing Yiju is really worth recommending! ! !

The proprietress was particularly enthusiastic. After we consulted Antarctic Luo, she was busy until late. She was helping us contact the carpool. The next day's accommodation was not available. They were also contacting other hotels. They would also give us local grapes at night. The room was very clean, because of the relative location inside, Sleeping at night is quieter. The fried yak beef of the proprietress is awesome. The small courtyard is also beautiful, you can sit and drink tea and be in a daze. It is a very good experience.

Accepts foreigners. Great welcome. I was given a room in their newer hotel which is fantastic. Right next to the church. Some rooms even overlooking the vineyard. You can buy local wine right next door. Unfortunately a lot of Cizhong is full of construction. But the hotel was in a quieter part.

GGuest UserWhat can I say, Yeyu has simply got to be hands down, the best place that I have stayed in during my entire Yunnan trip. I am amazed and wasn't expecting it to be this great. I know the idea of staying in a luxury hotel doesn't seem to be something that goes hand in hand with hiking (I say this from my experience of having hiked in several other places before where the key highlight is the natural setting itself), but I have to say that it was really soothing for the soul. My girlfriend and I loved this place! The hotel is tastefully designed at every corner and angle and we can appreciate that a lot of creativity and thought was put into designing this place. The aesthetics is very pleasing to the eye and embraces the natural scenery really well. We also loved the homage it pays to the area's ******* roots such as the photographs displayed in the room (young ******* monks playing and the ******* gazelles in the bathroom) and also all the books about Tibet, Yunnan province that is in the library and living room space. The service provided by the staff was top notch, very attentive and caring. We were always asked if there's anything that the staff can do for us be it preparing a plate of fresh fruits, preparing some drinks for us when we were lounging at the living area and another completely unexpected one was when we returned from the Sacred Waterfall hike with our shoes filled with mud, the hotel staff kindly asked us to leave our shoes with him and it came back the next day fully cleaned, placed in front of our rooms. The lovely service provided was just simply amazing and for this, I would like to offer my sincere thanks and gratitude to all of the lovely staff at Yeyu who provided us with such a beautiful memory of our too brief stay here and thank you so much for the room upgrade. If I could organise this trip again, I would have liked to stay here much longer to be able to relax and enjoy the beauty of this place. Please believe me when I say that it is completely worth every yuan.
PS: Please note that there are two Yeyu Hotels in Yubeng, one near the pond and the other near the temple. We stayed at the one near the temple. Both of them are beautiful in their distinctive ways.

GGuest UserWe booked this hotel due to a last-minute change in our itinerary. It was fully booked at the time, leaving only the best suite in the hotel. However, since we wanted to see the Meili Snow Mountain in the sunlight, we booked this suite. It was spacious enough for five people. The hotel is very new, and they presented Hada to each of us when we checked in! The waiter is responsive! We also had dinner in the hotel. The beautiful restaurant manager was very warm and thoughtful. Seeing that we ordered a lot of dishes, she took the initiative to inform us to change the set meal, which helped us reduce unnecessary waste! They also made us some ginger tea to keep the cold away! The service is very warm!
The biggest advantage of this hotel is its excellent location for viewing Meili Snow Mountain! You can see the entire Rizhao Golden Mountain without leaving your home! This time we were lucky enough to see the moon shining on the Silver Mountain and the sun shining on the Golden Mountain from the room! Very worth it!
The only suggestion is that the lighting in the entire hotel is relatively dim, which is a bit uncomfortable at first. It may be the designer's attempt to reduce light pollution in the entire scenic area! The rest are pretty good👍!

GGuest UserService: A particularly wonderful accommodation experience! Before checking in, the housekeeper added WeChat to remind us about transportation matters. In the next few days, the housekeeper arranged a car to pick us up at the White Pagoda of Xiayubeng. When we arrived, the floor heating in the room was already turned on, which was very warm! In the next few days, detailed suggestions will be provided according to the itinerary, and sandwiches will be packed for us to eat for hiking. Every night before get off work, we will ask about the room needs. It must be mentioned that breakfast is available in Chinese and American styles, which are especially delicious!
Environment: The homestay is located at the top of Shangyubeng Village. The simple and modern log design style shows that the boss has great taste. All rooms face Jiangjun Peak and Shennv Peak. When the weather is good, you can open the curtains to experience the snow-capped mountains. The scenery on the terrace upstairs is even better, and the snow-capped mountains and villages are in full view!
Hygiene: The room is very clean and tidy, equipped with a smart toilet, sufficient hot water, complete toiletries, and a light sandalwood scent that is very healing!
Facilities: Every detail has a sense of design. The room is equipped with floor heating and an oxygen concentrator, and you can wash clothes, which is a plus!

[The first good review is for the beautiful and gentle hotel housekeeper] From the moment we checked in, the hotel housekeeper (should be the hotel housekeeper hehe) received us very warmly and introduced the hotel facilities to us in detail. Knowing that we would return to the hotel after five o'clock, she turned on the floor heating for us in advance and pushed us a guide to play; at night, when she heard us singing the birthday song in the room, the lady brought us Coke, which was touching ❤️; the next day, the lady asked me in advance when I would leave and gave each of us a lucky knot.
[The second good review is for the hotel] In the winter of Yubeng, it is a very happy thing to live in a hotel with sufficient heating and excellent views. The hotel has sufficient floor heating, electric blankets, and complete warm air facilities in the bathroom. In addition, there is a shoe dryer, and the hotel also provides free foot soaking service. The window of our room faces the snow-capped mountains. At night, we curl up in bed and watch movies. GGuest UserThe view of Jinshan Mountain in the sun from the rooftop observation deck of the hotel was good. It was the last time before the Spring Festival (it rained in the next few days according to the weather forecast). The view of the room was also good, and the main peak was clearly visible. Facing the majestic snow-capped mountains after the sun rose, it was very comfortable to sit for two hours and drink tea.
The room was clean and tidy, and the sheets were very clean, which was satisfactory. The graphene electric heater was hung on the wall, which was safe and the indoor temperature was comfortable. I was surprised to find that there was also an electric blanket, which slowly heated up after turning it on. The feet that got cold quickly became hot when walking around on the ground in disposable slippers. I turned it off after turning it on for more than two hours and felt sweaty.
The bathroom facilities were average but they were all there (no plastic slippers, but it is generally not recommended to take a bath on the mountain, so it is not a problem).
In general, the price-performance ratio is good.

GGuest UserDuring the Spring Festival, I took my whole family from Shangri-La Dukezong Ancient Town to Meili Snow Mountain by charter. The driver took us along the 214 National Highway to enjoy the check-in attractions along the way. We chose to stay in the viewing room of Shenfeng Hotel. Since I was with my parents, I could enjoy the Meili Snow Mountain from the room, which was very comfortable. The terrace had a hanging chair, a rattan table and rattan chairs, which were very well designed. On the second day, I was lucky enough to see the Rizhao Jinshan Mountain that my daughter was looking forward to. There is also a large terrace on the floor of the hotel with better scenery. Guests staying in the hotel can go to the terrace to enjoy the view. The hotel floor heating is very comfortable, the room facilities are very new, and the bedding is clean and tidy. At night, the boss also brought each person a cup of yak milk, so that we could drink it to cool it down, otherwise it would be fishy when it was cold. It was a thoughtful arrangement, and the whole family was very satisfied.

Overall: The inn is nice and confortable but the service is terrible. Service made us feel very unwelcome and ruined the experience.
Room: humble but comfortable room. You can ask for a heater, which is very needed in the winter months (we stayed here in late November). Be aware that some rooms are marked as “Mountain View” but in fact you’re in a covered area so won’t really have a view (pictures attached) - we booked one of these rooms but since it was low season we were lucky to get a free upgrade and get one of the few rooms with a nice view.
Cleanliness: the rooms are relatively clean, but we had a mouldy shower curtain (see pictures).
Amenities: the restaurant / front desk area is very nice and cosy.
Service: terrible! Every time we needed their assistance it felt as if we were disturbing them from sitting by the fire (even though they barely had any customers and it seemed as if they were not busy at all). We are international traveler’s that don’t speak Chinese and the service was unhelpful and not welcoming. We’ve had no issues anywhere else in our trip in China, this was definitely the worst we have experienced. After reading other reviews it seems that the boss is very helpful, but he wasn’t there when we stayed at the inn and it appears that the workers don’t do a good job when he is not around. The workers didn’t advise us that we needed crampons for one of the hikes we did (hikers from other inns told us that these were a must) so we had to reluctantly stay one more night to complete the hike.
When we booked another night, one service member told us a price and another service person told us a different (lower, almost 100cny lower) price. We were then charged the first (higher) price, which made us feel quite uncomfortable. The day after when we tried to rent crampons from the inn the lady told us that it was 20 cny to rent per day, and that in other places it was 40 cny per day. We decided not to rent them because they looked in very bad condition. We later found out that you can buy them brand new at “meets meili snow mountain” for 35cny and use them for the 2 hikes. We also had to rent hiking poles even though they provide them for free at the hotel given that the ones they had didn’t look in good condition and weren’t tall enough for us (the lady at the desk got frustrated with us because of this).
Overall, very unhelpful, impatient service - we felt extremely uncomfortable because of it. If you’re an international traveller and don’t speak much Chinese stay away!!
Food: was good but small portions compared to other places. We ended up eating most of our meals elsewhere because the service made us feel very unwelcome. Limited breakfast options, there’s many more options at “meets meili snow mountain”.

GGuest UserYourland Hotel is run and operated by a very hard working lady who essentially does everything herself - from welcoming guests, cooking breakfast, cleaning the rooms and washing the bed sheets & laundry. The rooms are very clean and neatly organised, it has all the comforts that any hiker should need in such a remote location that is high up in the mountains (e.g. electric blankets, warm showers, etc.) Please do note that the warm water does need sometime to reheat especially if another guest takes a shower right away after the first guest. It will not be sufficient time for the water heating machine to heat the water. You should take note of the number that is displayed on the water heater. By default in our room, it showed the number of 44 and after the first guest took the shower, it went down to 19. If someone takes a shower right away at that moment, it will be cold so the next person should wait a bit until the number displayed moves up.
The views in the morning are amazing as you can see the mountain ranges on three different sides so you get a very good panoramic view from the terrace of the hotel. After a long day of hiking, our moods were lightened up when we were welcomed by the friendly and playful Labrador Retriever whose name is Dou Dou. Such a lovely dog ＜3. I would recommend you to stay here if you are looking for a place to stay in Upper Yubeng, it's good base for your planned hikes to the Glacier Lake and Nise Ranch. The place might be a bit difficult to locate if you arrive in Yubeng late at night (like we did since we walked all the way from Ninong, which was really tiring), but once you get the gist of it, it's very easy to remember and locate.

GGuest UserThere are snow-capped mountains on three sides, the White Horse Snow Mountain on the left, the Goddess Peak and the Five Crowns Peak facing each other, and the General Peak and Kawagebo's head on the right. It should be the best location in the whole Yubeng. The overall view is very clean, and the only regret is that the wooden structure is not soundproof.

The room was well-arranged and reasonably furnished, the facilities were brand new and fully equipped, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, which made me sleep well all night. The staff was warm and thoughtful, from the patient and meticulous check-in to the caring care during the stay, which made people feel at home. The hotel restaurant has rich and delicious dishes, and the breakfast options are particularly diverse. The location is also very advantageous, with convenient transportation around and close to many attractions and shopping areas. I strongly recommend it to all travelers, and I believe you will also leave good memories here.
