We were so lucky that we saw the Sun Shining on the Golden Mountain and the Moon Shining on the Silver Mountain. We were like children blessed by the sacred mountain. It was snowing heavily the day before. When we arrived at the hotel in the afternoon, the snow-capped mountain was still covered by clouds. As a result, the clouds dispersed in the middle of the night, and we even took a photo of the Moon Shining on the Silver Mountain. It was so beautiful.
Facilities: The room has floor heating, which is very warm and equipped with oxygen.
Hygiene: If you have high requirements for hygiene, it is recommended to bring your own disposable sheets and quilt covers!
Environment: Facing the Meili Snow Mountain, the room has a balcony with a view, you can see the snow mountain in the hotel, no need to go to the observation deck

The room was clean and tidy, especially the guy at the front desk was very enthusiastic. When he saw me dragging two suitcases and preparing to open the door to go in, he immediately asked me not to move. He came, so enthusiastic, and also considerately upgraded us to a view room and sent milk. You can see Meili Snow Mountain from the balcony, or you can go to the sixth floor to see it. If you want to take a video without a photo of the house, you have to go to the observation deck. Finally, the picture of Meili Snow Mountain is attached. It's so beautiful! I highly recommend their house. Don't move, brother is so enthusiastic!

This was such a lovely hotel! The wooden carving was so beautiful and the rooms were lovely and cosy. We initially booked one of the rooms in the main lobby area and they were fantastic. The shower was hot and dependable and there was a nice view out the window. The price point is also great, as it definitely feels like one of Yubengs higher and hotels in a great location, but without a huge price tag. There are many cool restaurants surrounding the hotel, and in my opinion, lower Yubeng is the better village to stay at, especially if you are trekking in from ninong. For our final night we upgraded to the mountain view suite. Yes, you can see the mountain better but the room is actually worse than the downstairs rooms, as well as being more expensive. I think the downstairs rooms are far superior. The boss was also nice and helpful, as well as going out of her way to lend us hiking gear. Great hotel.

The boss is very good, free upgraded river view room, you can see the green river directly on the balcony. In the evening, I was invited to eat the annual meal on the first day of the New Year. I was moved 😹. After the meal, I was taken to participate in their gathering with Tibetans. It was very local. Back on the big terrace at night, lying on the sofa and watching the stars, I learned to recognize Orion 😀
The room was large and clean, all new, the air conditioner was a cabinet, and the room was very warm.
I believe the garden below will be beautiful in summer, and there will be a swimming pool.

Personally think this hotel has the best view for Meili mountain (梅里雪山), very modern looking hotel with a cozy lobby and customer service, especially big thank to 小杨, 文文, 小张, 宁宁 for the superb care and hospitality - thanks for the surprise cake for my wife’s birthday, and we both love the little gift too, so sweet of you all. Best thing of the stay of course is the billion dollar view of 日照金山, we were so lucky to capture from our own eyes, they say one will get a full year LUCK once seen 日照金山, we were thrilled! By the way, hotel were clean with good quality toiletries and towels, they even have a Dyson hairdryer in the room. Will be happy to come back someday in the future!

The long-winded version:
1. First of all, why choose the latter between Feilai Temple and Wunongding.
Wunongding is farther away from the snow-capped mountains, you can see more of it, it looks more spectacular with a prospect, and it has a more ”primitive” feeling with fewer people and less business. This is indeed the case - you can't order takeout here.
2. Why choose Fansu among several homestays in Wunongding.
I have also thought about making up my mind and going down the mountain directly (not taking off my clothes). After all, it would be too much of a hassle to consider the cost-effectiveness after a trip to see the snow-capped mountains (it would be better to watch the live broadcast directly in Deqin Rong Media for the most cost-effectiveness). However, it must be admitted that the view depends very much on the weather. If the weather is not good, the location will be wasted. When it was basically determined that it would be cloudy on the day of check-in, I resolutely decided to reduce the budget... What's more, everyone's view at Wunongding is indeed similar. Let me talk about its advantages and disadvantages in detail:
(1) In terms of vision, you can see the whole snow-capped mountain in front (p1), but the foreground is relatively messy, with untidy small houses, railings and other homestays... You can see the White Horse Snow Mountain on the southwest side (p2, 3).
(2) In terms of facilities, it is indeed equipped with the configuration of an economy hotel. If you look at it by this standard, it is not bad. For example, the furniture is new (after all, it has just opened), and it is equipped with floor heating and oxygen machines (need to ask the front desk). However, the hot water in the water heater seems to be not very good!
(3) In terms of service, it provides pick-up and drop-off from Deqin County or Wunongding intersection (if you take a bus, you need to tell the driver in advance), and the owner drives an off-road vehicle to pick you up in person. The homestay has a yard (probably the only one in Wunongding). In the evening, everyone roasts potatoes and chats together. The atmosphere is very good (p4, 5). The owner is very friendly and enthusiastic. Other employees (Guizhou compatriots) said that they came to play with the owner. Since you are here to play, the service is indeed not as standardized as that of a hotel or a large homestay, but it also reduces the sense of distance. These can be regarded as differentiated competitive advantages.
A little surprise: the B&B is very close to a restaurant called Ye Xu (not a striptease restaurant). The restaurant is more centrally located, facing the main peak, with a more beautiful view (p6, how beautiful it must be when the peach tree in front is in full bloom). The food and environment are both excellent.

When I first arrived, the boss was selling coffee at the door, which was very cool! It's a two-story loft with a very large room. The floor is concrete, so I thought it would be cold, but the room has air conditioning, heater, and electric blanket. It's not cold when sleeping at night. The shower water in the bathroom is very hot. The most important thing is that the location is very good 👍🏻 There is an observation deck right outside. There are also two tripods in the room, and Coke and water are free.

The Inn is located at the top of the upper Yubeng village. The good point is that you can have a very good unblock view. The downside for now is that you need to climb up from the lower Yubeng or call a car to send you up. But this will not be an issue after the authority completes road construction from Xidang village.
The Inn has its own resturant. My wife and I enjoy the food they serve. It's really one of the better ones in the village.
Part of the Inn is still under construction. It will become nicer after they complete it.
The room price is on a higher end but we enjoyed our stay.

GGuest UserThe B&B recommended on Xiaohongshu did not disappoint me. The B&B for less than 300 yuan far exceeded my expectations. It has complete facilities, floor heating, oxygen supply, humidification, and mattresses with high-end latex memory zero pressure. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean. The last time I came, I spent a lot of money to stay in the viewing paradise, but the service was poor and they were indifferent. They said that the view looked out to a construction site, and when I asked the hotel, they were also evasive. Moshang Huakai is only more than 100 meters away from the viewing platform, and it takes at most 5 minutes to walk. The service is as good as a five-star hotel, and it is very enthusiastic. They also ordered fruits, melon seeds, and candies. The viewing restaurant on the second floor is surrounded by snow-capped mountains on three sides. The dishes are delicious and cheap, and the portions are too large. Whatever I asked, they were enthusiastic and positive. It must be a five-star praise.

And ask the homestay owner to arrange the share van(local people use it) for my back trip.You will feel more comfort for altitude sickness problem here.

GGuest UserYourland Hotel is run and operated by a very hard working lady who essentially does everything herself - from welcoming guests, cooking breakfast, cleaning the rooms and washing the bed sheets & laundry. The rooms are very clean and neatly organised, it has all the comforts that any hiker should need in such a remote location that is high up in the mountains (e.g. electric blankets, warm showers, etc.) Please do note that the warm water does need sometime to reheat especially if another guest takes a shower right away after the first guest. It will not be sufficient time for the water heating machine to heat the water. You should take note of the number that is displayed on the water heater. By default in our room, it showed the number of 44 and after the first guest took the shower, it went down to 19. If someone takes a shower right away at that moment, it will be cold so the next person should wait a bit until the number displayed moves up.
The views in the morning are amazing as you can see the mountain ranges on three different sides so you get a very good panoramic view from the terrace of the hotel. After a long day of hiking, our moods were lightened up when we were welcomed by the friendly and playful Labrador Retriever whose name is Dou Dou. Such a lovely dog ＜3. I would recommend you to stay here if you are looking for a place to stay in Upper Yubeng, it's good base for your planned hikes to the Glacier Lake and Nise Ranch. The place might be a bit difficult to locate if you arrive in Yubeng late at night (like we did since we walked all the way from Ninong, which was really tiring), but once you get the gist of it, it's very easy to remember and locate.

It should be the best location in the whole Yubeng. The overall view is very clean, and the only regret is that the wooden structure is not soundproof.

GGuest UserAfter looking at several hotels, I finally decided to stay here. The location is great, facing the snow-capped mountains. Just lie on the bed and open the curtains, and you don't have to wait outside with your hands and feet frozen for the sun to shine on the golden mountains and the moon to shine on the silver mountains. There is a piano in the homestay, which is very special. At night, I sat around the fire and read books, and suddenly I felt like I had been here before. The boss happened to come to Yubeng that day. He was very nice. He was from Guangdong. After chatting, I found out that the ”Snow Mountain Wake Up” homestay we stayed in Feilai Temple was also his. It was a coincidence that the location was also very good. The boss must be obsessed with the snow-capped mountains.

GGuest UserI traveled alone and lived in Yubeng for four days, and I especially like this place. Waking up in the arms of Meili Snow Mountain every morning, when I look up at night, the sky is full of stars, I really don’t want to leave here. The owner's family is low-key and quiet, and they are very nice. Their food is authentic, but few people know about it. Eat a bowl of tomato and egg noodles (rice noodles) in the morning and then go to Shenpu, super satisfied~
