The room was spacious, bright, clean, and tidy, with comfortable bedding. The 24-hour hot water and separate wet and dry areas were fantastic. The hotel thoughtfully provided local seasonal fruits and snacks in the lobby for guests to help themselves. It was my first time trying Naxi apples, and they were delicious! The sunlight streaming into the hotel restaurant and kitchen made breakfast feel warm and cozy. The breakfast selection was plentiful, including corn buns, rice noodles, and unique fried barley pastries. The owners were very welcoming; they answered all my questions about Shangri-La and provided information on nearby attractions and routes. I stayed for three nights! Also, Benzilan is located in a valley at a low altitude, with a cool and comfortable climate.

Ten thousand thumbs up! If you're in Yubeng during the rainy season, you absolutely cannot miss this hotel. You get a direct view of the snow-capped mountains, and in the morning, you can watch the sunrise illuminate them from your room. The soundproofing is excellent, and there's underfloor heating throughout. The design is simple but blends perfectly with the scenery – they really put a lot of effort into it! The bed was incredibly comfortable. But the best part was the service. When I ran out of water at night and went to buy two bottles, the owner just gave them to me for free. This reminds me of a crummy hotel in Feilai Temple that charged 600 RMB and then even charged for water. Compared to that, I feel like guests at Muchen are so lucky!

This was an absolutely unforgettable stay! The guesthouse is a reconstruction of the owner's original home, and I was immediately struck by its beauty upon entering: the Western-style staircase paired with ******* paintings was exquisite and beautiful! The rooms were even more beautiful and comfortable than the pictures showed, mainly due to the attention to detail, including the tea corner, the automatic sensor lights in the bathroom, and the copper sink. This guesthouse offers excellent value for money, comparable to well-known hotels costing nearly a thousand yuan. It's truly a hidden gem. The guesthouse's large terrace is just a short distance above a bend in the Jinsha River, offering stunning views! I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Yunnan and Tibet!

Overall, it was a great stay. The hotel thoughtfully provided tips for altitude sickness in the room and prepared items and facilities to combat it, such as Coke, oxygen packs, and an oxygen supply system. The decor leans towards a Wabi-sabi style, and the buckwheat pillows were very comfortable to sleep on. You can watch the 'golden sun illuminating the mountain' from the 4th floor. Service: After booking this time, the hotel offered a ******* costume photoshoot experience. ******* clothes and headwear were available in the hotel lobby. After the shoot, we received 3 free original photos. This was a collaboration with NICO Travel Photography. The photographer was very professional 📷, snapped great shots 👍, was excellent at composition and finding the right light, and even guided our poses. We got the photos quickly, and then back at the hotel, a dedicated staff member helped us choose the best ones. The entire process was very pleasant, and we got some amazing 'life photos' – fantastic!

The view from the room's window was absolutely stunning! It was my first time staying in a room with such a large floor-to-ceiling window, directly facing the snow-capped mountains outside. The two double beds were huge, and the room was so spacious it almost felt a bit empty, hahaha. The cloud conditions outside the window gave a good indication of the cloud cover at Feilai Temple, which was both beautiful and convenient. Traveling to and from the hotel from Shangri-La using Diqing Transportation was very easy, as the hotel is only about 100-200 meters from their bus stop. The owner was incredibly kind. When we left, it was raining, and even though it was a short distance, he still drove us. The hotel also has a restaurant on the first floor. The chef is amazing, hailing from Dujiangyan, Sichuan, with over a decade of experience. The Sichuan cuisine is incredibly authentic and can be made mildly spicy. It was super delicious, perfectly blending local Deqin ingredients like yak meat and ******* pork. The fragrant Sichuan dishes truly relieved my travel fatigue. A big thank you to the chef!

The overall decor is elegant and cozy, with a fantastic sense of design. The common areas are adorned with plants, tea seating, and cozy nooks, creating an incredible ambiance. Every corner is picture-perfect, and the fatigue from traveling simply vanished the moment I walked in. What truly impressed me was the meticulous cleanliness. The entire place was spotless, the floors gleaming. The bedding was brand-new, made of pure cotton – soft, fluffy, and with a faint, pleasant scent, making it incredibly relaxing to lie down on. The bathroom featured a dry/wet separation, completely odorless. Toiletries, disposable slippers, and towels were all provided. Even the nooks, crannies, and edges of the vanity were wiped clean. It's clear the owner has extremely high standards for cleanliness, which made my stay feel incredibly safe and reassuring. The room amenities were comprehensive. Air conditioning and hot water were available and plentiful 24/7. The mattress and pillows were just the right firmness. The blackout curtains provided excellent light sealing, ensuring a quiet environment at night with no disruptive noise. Even as a light sleeper, I slept soundly until morning. Small details like audio-visual equipment, charging points, and storage were all thoughtfully provided – everything you'd need for a comfortable stay. The service from the owner and staff was impeccable. Before check-in, they proactively sent precise location details, parking tips, and tour routes. They even thoughtfully recommended local, lesser-known eateries and photo spots. Upon arrival, they enthusiastically helped with luggage, and the check-in process was quick and efficient. They were always available to answer questions, responded to messages promptly and patiently, and promptly addressed any minor issues that arose, never giving a perfunctory impression. It felt like interacting with friendly neighbors. The guesthouse boasts an excellent location, making it convenient for getting around. Dining and transportation options nearby are abundant. It's a quiet oasis amidst the bustling area, balancing convenience with tranquility. Compared to chain hotels, this place offers a warmth and human touch, without the cold commercial feel, and the value for money is outstanding. I've already saved it and added it to my 'revisit' list. I will definitely choose it again for future trips to this area. I sincerely recommend it to all travelers – you can book with your eyes closed, you won't regret it. A perfect score is truly deserved.

We arrived in the evening and had dinner in the guesthouse's restaurant. The owner treated us to a delicious local wine. Our room offered a direct view of the snow-capped mountains, unlike the view at Feilai Temple, where the peaks were much closer. The next day, at sunrise, we could watch the sun set over the Golden Mountain from our room. There's also a viewing platform on the first floor, offering unobstructed views of the stars and the snow-capped mountains. The owner warmly invited us to dinner at her sister's home. The cooking was excellent and delicious! It also allowed us to experience ******* culture. The owner's daughter was adorable, not shy at all, and constantly entertained us. It snowed heavily the day we left, but thanks to the owner's guidance on a safe route, we arrived safely in Shangri-La. If I ever visit Meili Snow Mountain again, I'll definitely stay at this hotel.

This was the best stay during my trip to Yunnan. The boss and his wife were very friendly, they kept asking what else we need and helped to carry our luggage to the 4th floor. The room was spacious and comfortable. They have heating bed and floor. If i would come to Feilaisi again i would definitely choose this hotel again.

Opening the window revealed a breathtaking vista of snow-capped mountains and pristine forests; when shrouded in mist, it felt like a fairyland. Waking up to that view each morning was truly healing – the scenery is so stunning it left me speechless! What made it even better was the warm service, especially from the front desk staff. They were incredibly enthusiastic and attentive throughout, patiently helping us plan our hiking routes, reminding us of important precautions, and even proactively drying our soaking wet hiking shoes after our treks. The attention to detail showed so much warmth. Staying here offers both the tranquil beauty of nature and the thoughtful care of family. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Yubeng!
