Deqin Hotels with Parking

I was quite disappointed with the service at Ji Xia Shan. Their proactiveness is severely lacking, and their service awareness is simply not enough. When they mess up and upset a customer, all they do is apologize and ask for understanding, expecting the customer to just swallow it and deal with it themselves. There's absolutely no action taken, it's like knocking someone over, only saying sorry but not helping them up. I booked Ji Xia Shan several days in advance, but by almost 8 PM the night before check-in, no one had contacted me to add a butler's WeChat. I had to call them to ask if they even had a butler service. The hotel said they did, and that they had simply overlooked me. Later, they called back to explain that they had tried to call me around 3 PM but no one picked up, and then they asked Ctrip to send me a text message and didn't follow up further. I checked the Ctrip information, and it didn't say the hotel couldn't reach me, and with so many text messages, I wouldn't check every single one. Furthermore, when checking out, the front desk had absolutely no farewell gift prepared. As I got into the car and was about to close the door and leave, I asked the bellboy who had helped with luggage: ”Didn't the package say it included a farewell gift?” The bellboy then realized and said, ”Wait a moment,” and went in to get a keychain. This is unlike other hotels where farewell gifts are readily given out during check-out. Another thing I'm particularly unhappy about is: definitely do NOT book the Yunling room type in summer! It was advertised that we could see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Meili Snow Mountain, but due to lush vegetation, the snow-capped mountains were completely obstructed! See pictures one and two; I felt deceived! It would have been better to book the cheapest room type and go to the 4th-floor cafe observation deck to see the snow mountains. I ended up wasting over a thousand yuan! Also, this hotel has no elevator. To get to the observation deck, you have to climb stairs. Every time I climbed to the fourth floor, I was out of breath. If you have altitude sickness, I'd strongly advise against it. The only thing to praise is the young woman working at the 4th-floor cafe. She was all smiles, and her photography skills were excellent. When I asked her to help take pictures, she was genuinely enthusiastic and patient. Ji Xia Shan is considered a relatively well-known hotel in the Meili Snow Mountain area. Many places try to imitate Songtsam, for example, serving ginger tea and hot towels during check-in, or using keys for all door locks. However, it seems they've only copied Songtsam's superficial aspects; their service is worlds apart. And for Songtsam's snow mountain view rooms, you can truly lie in bed and face the snow mountains directly, being able to admire them from your bed (see picture six). The price of over three thousand yuan is well worth it. But Ji Xia Shan's snow mountain view rooms, which are even more expensive than Songtsam's, offer absolutely no view of the snow mountains. And the difference in service is even greater.

Fantastic, fabulous, and fascinating! This homestay in Benzilan is pure magic! The location is serene, the accommodation spotless, and the people—simply outstanding. The hosts treat you like family, always smiling and going the extra mile to make your stay unforgettable. Honestly, leaving this place is the hardest part! It’s hands down my best stay in Yunnan. If you’re heading to Deqin for Meili Snow Mountain, this is a must-stay. Highly recommended!

Our night in Benzilan was made absolutely perfect thanks to the Xilin Yuan Nada Mountain Inn. We arrived in the evening, driving up the mountain road, and the further we went, the more tranquil it became. The inn's courtyard is beautifully maintained, and the room windows offer stunning views of the continuous mountain range, making you feel as though the entire world has quieted down. The owner is incredibly kind. Not only did he recommend some local delicacies, but he also offered to wash our clothes for us. This kind of thoughtful service truly makes you feel so welcome and warm. This is an inn that makes you want to return. Next time I'm in Benzilan, I'll definitely stay here again!

Our overall experience was absolutely fantastic, offering a true sense of escape and a wonderful holiday vibe. We've already decided we'll be back! The room amenities were excellent. The mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm – and came with latex pillows. The wooden chairs were solid and substantial. They were also very generous with the toiletries. The large floor-to-ceiling windows and spacious balcony faced directly towards the Meili Thirteen Peaks. Lying in bed, we could see both Kawagarbo and Miancimu simultaneously – it was truly breathtaking; my eyes couldn't bear to leave the view outside the window. The hotel's overall layout was also very well-designed. The common areas were conveniently located on each floor near the corners, making it easy to get anywhere without disturbing the quietness of the rooms. We tried both the hotpot and the barbecue at the restaurant, and the flavors were very authentic. The breakfast rice noodles were especially fragrant. If you didn't want to go out, you could even have it delivered to your room. The most special part was the incredible experience of waking up early to watch the 'sunlit golden mountains.' For someone like me who struggles to wake up early, this was a huge plus. All I needed to do was set an alarm before sunrise, wake myself up, and with a remote control, open the curtains and sheers. I could then instantly see if it was going to be a good viewing, minimizing the 'sunk cost' of getting up – it was incredibly convenient and comfortable. In terms of service, our butler was attentive and thoughtful. All the staff we encountered in the common areas had genuine smiles and spoke softly. The drone photography, travel photography, and makeup services they partnered with were also very professional, and we ended up with a beautiful set of photos with the sacred mountains as our backdrop. All in all, it was a very pleasant trip.

This hotel is a must-stay if you're visiting Meili Snow Mountain. The terrace offers stunning views, and we were incredibly lucky to witness the 'Thirteen Peaks bathed in Sunlight' at the very end of the rainy season. The breakfast, personally prepared by the owner, was exquisite and filling, served individually to each guest with the finesse of a French meal. Each room also came with binoculars, allowing us to see the intricate details of the glacier. The only minor downsides were the occasional loud passing trucks on the street, though it quieted down significantly at night, and the water heater which sometimes got excessively hot.

I chose Snow Mountain Awakens Hotel this time, fulfilling my dream of ”lying down and watching the snow-capped mountains”! The huge floor-to-ceiling windows framed the snow-capped mountains like a painting. In the morning, I didn't have to jostle with crowds at the observation deck; I just opened my eyes and drew the curtains to witness the breathtaking moment of the golden sun illuminating the peaks. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't perfect, but the intermittently visible Meili Snow Mountain still left me speechless. 🛋️ As someone concerned about altitude sickness, the room was equipped with diffused oxygen and underfloor heating throughout, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep without any of the usual discomfort at high altitudes. The smart room control system was also very convenient, and the full set of Bvlgari toiletries showed real thoughtfulness. 🥘 We had dinner directly at the hotel restaurant, and you really *have* to try their stir-fried yak meat!!! The meat was tender, every dish was incredibly generous in portion, and the restaurant also offered direct views of Meili Snow Mountain. 🎇 The hotel's special activities were also full of ritual. There's a fireworks show every night at 7:50 PM, followed by a documentary on Meili at 9:00 PM, offering an immersive understanding of the stories of the sacred mountains of Tibet. In the morning at 9:30 AM, there's a morning Sang offering, where a mixture of cypress branches, barley, tsampa, and other fragrant ingredients are burned, with the pure smoke offered to the deities to convey gratitude, purification, and prayers.

This stay exceeded my expectations, definitely a five-star review! The location is excellent, making it super convenient for sightseeing, and the surroundings are beautiful. It's quiet and peaceful at night, so I slept wonderfully. The room was meticulously cleaned; the floors, tables, and bathroom were spotless. The bedding was dry and tidy, without any dampness or strange odors. All the in-room amenities were perfect, the Wi-Fi was stable, and hot water was available 24/7, making for an incredibly comfortable stay. The owner was warm and welcoming, genuinely friendly, and patiently helped with any requests, providing very attentive service. The overall environment is cozy and elegant, with a great atmosphere, and the price is very reasonable – excellent value for money. It's truly rare to find such a comfortable place to stay during a trip. I highly recommend it to all travelers and will definitely book here again on my next trip.

Just to make it clear that the location of this hotel is not at the Meili Viewing Platform. You need to walk around 10 minutes to reach the platform to watch Meili at sunrise. The mountain that is in the background of the hotel is Baima mountain. Having said that, we loved our stay at this hotel. The cabin was nicely decorated and equipped with all amenities. We loved the bathroom! The heater was working well in the cold weather. The uncle was lovely. It was a bit hard for us to conmunicate what we wanted as we don't speak Chinese but through Wechat translation he was able to arrange a car (shared trip) to Mingyong Glacier and a private transfer back to Shangri La for us. The auntie at the breakfast was also lovely and welcoming, trying to chat with us all the time. One thing to note is that aroud the area there are a lot of construction sites (there is one opposite the hotel), so it can be dusty and noisy at times. Please check with the hotel about the construction if it is still ongoing during the time you want to visit. All in all, I highly recommend this place if you want a lovely cabin experience (with sky window!) away from the busy area. However, you won't see Meili from the hotel's windows.

I genuinely think this is the best value-for-money hotel in Feilai Temple! Absolutely worth it! The room was small but had everything I needed. I booked it last minute after deciding to arrive a day earlier. It was very warm, clean, and the facilities were new. The service was also excellent; both the front desk and the owner were very polite. I would have extended my stay if they weren't fully booked today.

Getting to the hotel requires turning off National Highway 214 onto a village road, which was completely dark at night. At that moment, I regretted booking this place. However, after driving down that small road for about 5 minutes, we finally arrived, and I immediately felt that my choice was actually a good one. Once we entered the room, my worries completely disappeared! The room felt like a 4-star standard and, thankfully, was smoke-free. Even better, each room had a copy of the 'Brief Introduction to Diqing Prefecture,' a very professional, detailed, and comprehensive book that helps you quickly and systematically understand the area. The hotel restaurant's food was good (though a bit salty for us southerners). The prices weren't cheap, around 50 RMB per person, but given the generous portions, I wouldn't say it was expensive. The main benefit was not having to go out to eat, which saved time and effort. The hotel's environment and ambiance were perfect; it truly felt like a manor. I heard it used to be a vineyard that later upgraded to tourism services. Because it's far from the town and main road, it's incredibly quiet, and you can even see the peak of Meili Snow Mountain directly from here.
