Fantastic, fabulous, and fascinating! This homestay in Benzilan is pure magic! The location is serene, the accommodation spotless, and the people—simply outstanding. The hosts treat you like family, always smiling and going the extra mile to make your stay unforgettable. Honestly, leaving this place is the hardest part! It’s hands down my best stay in Yunnan. If you’re heading to Deqin for Meili Snow Mountain, this is a must-stay. Highly recommended!

I visited this place ten years ago, and it's just as good as I remember. The location is superb, directly facing the viewing platform. You can sit on the terrace and enjoy a clear view of the snowy mountains. The owner's cooking is fantastic; both dinner and the Western breakfast were delicious. The room details are very well thought out. Definitely worth staying here.

Cleanliness: Still very neat and clean. Environment: The guesthouse is located at the very top of the eastern side of Upper Yubeng. If you don't want to commute by pickup truck or climb the 'Despair Slope', I recommend taking the shortcut directly to Upper Yubeng after the second supply point. The scenery is excellent. The guesthouse has a fantastic view, offering panoramic vistas of three snow-capped mountains. The decor is ******* style, leaning towards minimalist. Service: The ladies working here were incredibly responsive to all our requests. Upon check-in, we received custom medals and a supply kit. In the evenings, there was ginger tea, fruit, and late-night snacks. After three days of exhausting hikes, returning to the guesthouse, sitting by the fire, drinking ginger tea, and petting the cats brought immense happiness. I highly recommend their milk tea and coffee; their beauty is the least impressive thing about them – they're just that delicious. Facilities: The hot water temperature was a bit tricky to adjust. As someone sensitive to heat, the water felt too hot after a while. Lastly, the guesthouse also provides disposable towels and bath towels, so my quick-dry towel went completely unused. Guests might consider this to lighten their backpacks.

The unobstructed, wide-open view makes this one of the best guesthouses in Yubeng Village for scenic appreciation. 2. **Exquisite and Comfortable Accommodation** Newly renovated, the guesthouse perfectly blends wooden elements with minimalist design. The twin room is spacious, and the bedding is soft and comfortable. The underfloor heating system provides thoughtful warmth, ensuring the high-altitude nights are no longer cold. The en-suite bathroom is well-equipped with ample hot water. 3. **Warm and Attentive Service** Breakfast includes authentic minced pork rice noodles. **🏞️ Environment & Location** **Location:** Situated in Yubeng Upper Village, it's the starting point for the Ice Lake hiking trail. **Surroundings:** A quiet and peaceful ******* village, far from the hustle and bustle. **Transportation:** Approximately a 10-minute walk from the entrance of Yubeng Village, offering convenient access in and out of the village.

The best decision I made on this trip to Meili was choosing this guesthouse! As soon as I opened the door, I was stunned by the panoramic floor-to-ceiling window – Kavagarbo Peak was right there, completely unobstructed. The snow-capped mountains and glaciers felt so close, as if I could reach out and touch the sacred summit. In the morning, I didn't even have to brave the cold to go outside; I could just lie in bed and wait for the miracle of the 'sunlit golden mountain'. When the first rays of dawn painted the snow peaks golden-red, the awe I felt was something I'll remember for a lifetime.

Had a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly polite and helpful. The front desk even upgraded our room and included breakfast. The owner personally brought an oxygen tube to our room. We had a great view of the snow-capped mountains, and there's a restaurant and shops conveniently located downstairs.

The staff were warm and friendly! There's also a cafe and an observation deck on the top floor where you can see Baima Snow Mountain and Feilai Temple. The afternoon sun was perfect for photos, and the scenery was absolutely stunning! The hotel's location isn't far from the Meili Snow Mountain observation deck, so transportation is very convenient. There's a snack street near the Feilai Temple observation deck, and watching the snow-capped mountains in the evening is beautiful—highly recommended! The hotel's restaurant is on the first floor, which is super convenient if you don't feel like going out in the cold.

A truly satisfying stay with warm service throughout. Upon check-in, we were thoughtfully brought hot milk and a basket of snacks, which was a lovely touch. The location is superb; our 180-degree view room offered stunning views of Meili Snow Mountain as soon as we opened the curtains. The butler was incredibly responsive, answering all our questions and providing a satisfactory solution even when we just casually mentioned a minor dining issue. I hope the hotel continues to thrive. (However, I'd still recommend avoiding having full meals at the hotel. The chef seems to enjoy being creative, and our menu—sweet and sour chicken, sesame oil, ginger, tomato, and egg soup, zucchini with sliced pork, and garlic oil lettuce—was so much that five of us couldn't finish it.)

Overall, this place is a perfect blend of tranquility, great service, and memorable experiences. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature with a touch of adventure. One small issue I had was that the air-conditioner was blowing warm air, but after I informed the team, they fixed it within a short time. Great service and quick response — really appreciated it!

We arrived in the evening and had dinner in the guesthouse's restaurant. The owner treated us to a delicious local wine. Our room offered a direct view of the snow-capped mountains, unlike the view at Feilai Temple, where the peaks were much closer. The next day, at sunrise, we could watch the sun set over the Golden Mountain from our room. There's also a viewing platform on the first floor, offering unobstructed views of the stars and the snow-capped mountains. The owner warmly invited us to dinner at her sister's home. The cooking was excellent and delicious! It also allowed us to experience ******* culture. The owner's daughter was adorable, not shy at all, and constantly entertained us. It snowed heavily the day we left, but thanks to the owner's guidance on a safe route, we arrived safely in Shangri-La. If I ever visit Meili Snow Mountain again, I'll definitely stay at this hotel.
