Jjesslyne khongwe arrived late and exhausted. the staff was very well welcoming, pleasant and caring. they contract us a day before for all the arrangement and even a lovely gesture of a strawberry cake for our anniversary. the bar was wonderful with comfort atmosphere. we woke up early (the hotel will provide a forecast too) for the sunrise view at the bar, and there is even a thoughtful staff there to prepare us warm teas for the cooling morning. we went back to rest as not well after the viewing, missed our bfast but got the staff to help us on checkout. it was pleasant staying there but unfortunately we didnt get to see the beautiful sunrise due to the heavy frost.

GGuest UserA very satisfying stay. I wanted to go hiking in Nidin, so I searched for this newly opened hotel. The surroundings were quiet, with a gurgling stream, and the hotel environment was very tasteful and clean. I arrived in the evening and originally wanted to go to a nearby village for dinner because I was afraid the food in the hotel would not be good, but it turned out to be completely unnecessary! I ordered butter chicken, which was very filling. Although there was a lot of butter, it was not greasy at all. The store manager taught me to pour ghee on the rice and sprinkle some salt on it. It tastes so delicious! The rice noodles for breakfast were so delicious that I ate them for two mornings in a row. In the evening, goodnight milk was delivered to the room, which was a great experience. In the morning, there was a blessing ceremony of burning incense sticks by villagers nearby, and I was fortunate enough to join in. All in all, a highly recommended one!

GGuest UserThis was the best place we stayed at on our trip, both in terms of decor and service.
**Decor:** Both the hard furnishings and soft furnishings were top-notch. Hansgrohe shower, Duravit sink and toilet, Dyson hairdryer – it made for a very comfortable stay.
**Room:** The hotel wasn't full, so they upgraded my room! It faced Meili Snow Mountain directly. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great, so I didn't get to see the 'golden sun on the mountain' phenomenon, but the view was still absolutely stunning. Snacks and drinks were complimentary, and the room even had two oxygen panels.
**Service:** The staff were incredibly warm and friendly. The ******* people were so kind and open, often chatting with us and introducing us to their culture and local travel routes. The experience was truly fantastic!
**Food:** We had dinner at the hotel. Although there was a minor hiccup, it was resolved wonderfully. Late at night, we even received a yogurt and fruit bowl, packed with tons of blueberries, strawberries, and more! Delicious! It was like a dream come true for a sweet tooth like me.
What truly sets this place apart are the various ******* activities offered, such as:
* Morning Sang burning (for blessings)
* Handmade ******* incense making
* Prayer flag rubbing
These activities made the trip more than just sightseeing and sleeping; they allowed me to understand the local culture much better. Highly recommended!

HHuoxiniI planned a trip specifically because I had this hotel, designed by Wu Bin, saved in my favorites. The moment I saw the snow-capped mountains, it was all worth it – the combination of Meili Bo Duo and the 'golden mountain bathed in sunlight' is just perfect!
Even the most basic courtyard rooms offer a glimpse of the snowy peaks, and there are plenty of spots in the public areas with even more breathtaking views and fewer crowds.
The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the thoughtful evening dessert was a lovely surprise – the butler quietly brought it to my room when I was out, which was both unexpected and heartwarming.
Moreover, the hotel offers many activities. I participated in Thangka painting and making ******* incense bags, which were excellent. Upon check-out, the butler even gave me a gift of soap and a prayer wheel.
All in all, to find a hotel like this at an altitude of 3500 meters where you can simply relax and gaze at the snow-capped mountains, I personally feel it was well worth the price.

PparaworldThe room was spotless, and the 1.2-meter single bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful with a wide variety of options. The hotel staff were all warm and professional. The staff on the 4th-floor viewing platform, in particular, were outstanding; they taught us how to capture beautiful photos of the scenery. The butler service group was incredibly responsive. The hotel is located near the Wunongding viewing platform, so you don't have to brave the early morning cold to see Meili Snow Mountain; you can see it directly from the 4th floor. We were so lucky this time, from January 25th to 27th, we saw the breathtaking 'Sunrise over Golden Mountain' (Rizhao Jinshan) of Meili Snow Mountain for two days, as well as the 'Sunset over Silver Mountain' on the first day. The two documentaries shown at night, ”Kawa Karpo” and ”The Salt Road,” were fascinating. The small gift we received upon check-out was lovely.
However, the dinner selection was uninspiring, and the portions were small. For instance, the stir-fried Pipa pork with matsutake had very little meat and mushrooms, but a lot of green onions. I hope they can improve this aspect!

GGuest UserThe location is absolutely superb, with the hotel directly facing the main peak of Meili Snow Mountain, Kawagebo, offering an unobstructed view. Drawing back the curtains in the early morning, when the first rays of sunlight hit the mountain peak, the awe-inspiring sight of the 'golden mountains in the sun' is truly indescribable. It felt incredibly healing, like I hit the jackpot!

AAhranThis is the very hostel that I would highly recommend to anyone who goes to Yubeng. Clean and comfy bed, quality amenities, kind and informative staff (* Jasmin, you are amazing!), wonderful common area where you would surely want to sit down and stay for a while over a cup of coffee or tea. They serve breakfast, the best Mixian with fried egg, which cost you only $30.
The upper Yubeng is reachable in about 30-45 minutes, so in case you plan to explore both lower and upper Yubeng as most people do, I would recommend that you stay at this hostel for 2 nights instead of finding another one in the upper Yubeng. It is that good.

GGuest UserI had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful hotel. The location is perfect—just about 20 minutes from the busy town center, which makes it wonderfully quiet and peaceful. Every morning, I woke up to an amazing mountain view that instantly set the tone for a relaxing day.
The property itself is stunning, especially the vineyard, which adds so much charm. I loved the free wine tasting sessions, and the hosts were incredibly kind, caring, and always eager to make sure we had everything we needed. Their warm hospitality truly made the experience feel personal.
The food was excellent, with every meal prepared thoughtfully and bursting with flavor. For those who love a bit of adventure, the ATV facilities are a fantastic addition. We also enjoyed grape plucking right in the vineyard—such a unique and fun activity!
Overall, this place is a perfect blend of tranquility, great service, and memorable experiences. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature with a touch of adventure.
One small issue I had was that the air-conditioner was blowing warm air, but after I informed the team, they fixed it within a short time. Great service and quick response — really appreciated it!

GGuest UserShangyubeng is a beautiful B&B. Enjoy breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains and meadows from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The service was exceptionally warm and attentive. Because the village was undergoing road construction, we had to hike in. Mr. Hua called ahead to let us know, which prepared us well and saved us a lot of trouble.
The owner's cooking is impeccable. After a week of Yunnan cuisine, we were treated to authentic Cantonese barbecued pork and scallion chicken, which my two children raved about. He even thoughtfully prepared sandwiches for us to snack on on the hike back. May Mr. Hua's business flourish and may his fortunes flow.

The place itself is spotless, and the common areas have a relaxed and comfortable vibe. The beds are clean and odor-free, and the washing facilities are comprehensive. The owner is incredibly warm and friendly, and the service is excellent. This place offers amazing value for money. It's my top choice for accommodation when traveling, and I'll definitely be back!
