I will start with positive: service is always excellent in this hotel, everyone who works there do their best to help and arrange guest’s needs. We loved the choices of restaurants, food was excellent, cocktails at the bar were delicious, spa area with sauna and swimming pool was great and clean. Garden and green area around beautiful. Negative: in our room the shower was not very clean, large ball or black hair was stuck on the wall of shower. When we got our room service order, ripped off leg of cockroach was laying on the tray next to the plate of food. We asked for an extra bed for our son, they brought a bed that was more a torture device, the wire spirals from the mattress was coming up and digging into the back when laying on this torture bed. My son could not sleep on that bed, no one could. And we ended up sleeping on one bed 3 people, it was not comfortable at all. Another thing, we have noticed that guests at the pool are allowed to spit into the main pool water. One guy rinsed his mouth and gargled and spit that water in the pool where people are swimming. It absolutely disgusting. It need to be forbidden to do in public pools.

I absolutely loved my stay at the Royal Garden Hotel. The hotel is clean and beautiful, the service is great and the staff is helpful, kind and friendly. On my first day I ordered food to my room and because it was busy (May holiday rush) my food took a while to arrive but the duty manager Mr King came to assure me that, that's not the kind of service I should expect from them going forward and to apologize for the delay. Needless to say, I enjoyed my full stay there without any problems. The front desk staff was also helpful whenever I needed help with anything. I'll definitely visit again.

Awesome place to stay, staffs are all very friendly and helpful. Manager Jacky upgraded my room to city view and 3 breakfast for free, thank you Jacky! The girl on night shifts always helped me bring my stuff to my room when I got too much. They even gave me chef handmade cookies every time I went for breakfast. It’s about 5mins walk to the shopping mall. Would definitely stay here again for next visit. :)

I chose to stay at Banyan Tree Songshan Lake Dongguan during the Qingming Festival, and the experience was full! This is all thanks to the housekeeper Mia, who is simply the ”superhero” of my trip! It rained during the Qingming Festival. Before the trip, I was worried that the rain would disrupt my plan, so I contacted Mia to find out about the activities in the hotel. Unexpectedly, this was just the beginning of our communication. The night before, Mia and I chatted until 1 a.m. She patiently and carefully answered every question I had. The feeling of being valued was really great! I thought she was busy all day and would definitely reply later the next day, but I received her message early in the morning. This service efficiency is really amazing! Mia's thoughtfulness goes far beyond this. She seems to be able to see through my thoughts, and I don't need to remind her of many things. Seeing that there were vacant rooms, she took the initiative to help me upgrade the room type and arranged for China Unicom to make our living experience more comfortable. When I returned to the room at night, the warm night bed service was ready, and my fatigue disappeared instantly. What touched me the most was that this trip happened to be my son's birthday month, and Mia quietly prepared two exquisite cakes. When the cake was delivered to my son, his surprised and happy expression, I will never forget it in my life. This attentiveness made this trip full of warmth and memories. Every moment at Banyan Tree Songshan Lake was extremely comfortable and pleasant, and all this was inseparable from Mia's efforts. I sincerely thank her and strongly recommend everyone to come here to experience and feel the amazing service brought by Mia! I booked this hotel because it was a new hotel. The room was big, the service was good and the facilities were new. I really didn't want to leave. The gym was well equipped. There was a big snack street nearby, which was very convenient for late night snacks. The floor-to-ceiling windows were well received and you could see the scenery. They helped with late check-out. I was very satisfied and would come here again next time.

I often stay at this hotel. This time I stayed in the most affordable room. The room was clean and the staff cleaned it very carefully. However, the bath towels are hard to describe (see photos for details)😂 Although the internal competition is serious and we need to reduce costs and increase efficiency, this towel should really be changed.

Songshan Lake is really the best place for leisure, cycling and camping in the Greater Hong Kong, Macao and Guangdong Bay Area. It is also very popular. When the weather is good, there are a lot of people and cars. This hotel is in a prime location and is very close to Songshan Lake. And the hotel is next to Vankeli Shopping Mall, which is very convenient for traveling, eating, drinking and having fun. It is very friendly to families who drive themselves. It shares an underground parking lot with Vankeli, and guests staying in the hotel can park for free🅿. The hotel itself is designed with a sense of technology, simple and fashionable. It is not high-end but clean and neat. The overall environment is very good. Luo Yu at the front desk is very kind and has a very good smile. What is worth exaggerating is that the hotel’s buffet is very good and cost-effective. There is a children’s playground (although it is not big) and a gym. Especially pet-friendly, many people stay with their pets and eat in the restaurant. Vankeli is just outside the hotel, and there is a large lawn and a small canal suitable for children to play. You can camp (you can rent camping equipment on site if you don’t bring your own equipment), there are slides and seesaws, you can fish on the water🎣, and you can also paddle a drop board. Although they are all MINI types, they are very suitable for families with young children and have a lot of fun. You can spend a whole day here without going to Songshan Lake. I will stay here next time.
