Good location out of the city. We had a car so easy to come and go. Starbucks next door. Just a little noisy as you’re near the bypass and our room was above the car park.

It was a good place to stay. But we had trouble with the heater, it was quite cold. The reception gave us a portable heater and we were alright. A bit far from the city.

Room was clean, but one of the towel smells like fish oil, shower gel was finished and no one refill it, no bathroom mat, Next door room was very noisy until midnight, couldn't sleep well because of it. Overall wasn't very pleasant experience, but ok.

We stayed one night out of two. Hotel too far from the center and the airport. Lodge one of the worst hotel chains! In 2023 paid wifi!!?? Room with cobwebs, no hairdryer! Small bathroom set, with large stained towel. Unknown breakfast, only a box or a snack machine, luckily there is Starbucks outside for those who want. Positive notes about the room: size and shower. Positive note about the reception staff.

The location is perfect, the bus stop is 5 minutes away. You take line 27 which runs every 10 minutes or so and in 30 minutes you are in the center. It's the best thing about the hotel. The rest is acceptable within the prices there... It doesn't have breakfast or anything, but right next door there is a Starbucks, a gas station and a Morrisons supermarket near the bus stop.

The hotel is located near an avenue in the suburbs. It is very cold at night. Fortunately, the hotel provides heating. The room was clean and the bed was neat. There is a Starbucks and a small supermarket nearby, so there are few things to eat. The hotel service staff has a good attitude and is very friendly.

There are basic facilities. There is no lift, so guests need to carry suitcases upstairs. The bed is clean but not comfortable. The bathroom is poorly maintained. The soap dispenser had water mixed with soap... I mean, seriously??? For £100 a night, guest deserves a comfy mattress to sleep on and proper soap to wash their hands with.

Ridiculous that Starbucks Dreghorn charge £1:00 more for a flat white coffee just because this particular place is a Franchise and not a main branch. Would recommend avoiding and going to a main Starbucks outlet !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Messy Bathroom - The previous guest used towel was left in the bathroom. The hand soap dispenser was broken and leaked all over bathroom. Even though the receptionist had fixed this personally the leak continued.

Great for those who don't want to drive in central Edinburgh. Nice and quiet with regular bus service into Central Edinburgh, albeit with a 10 minute walk to the bus stop. Starbucks next door.

I am disabled and had an early morning appointment at Shawfair Hospital 5 miles or 11 minutes away via the usually congested ring road. I therefore booked into Dreghorn to avoid the peak traffic over the Queensway Crossing from Fife, navigating the notorious A720 and the queues at Hermitage Gate. The lodge is just off that road along side a big Shell garage, It proved to be a find. I parked my car in the blue badge space next friendly reception and was checked in promptly, with assistance offered to take my ky and bag to my disabled bedroom which was clean and well fitted, with working kettle for tea/coffee and working wall tv. It only offers a cold boxed continental breakfast which was adequate for my needs. This is not a glamourous establishment but satisfies basic needs with a well equipped walk-in shower and toilet which adds confidence to a disabled client walking with a stick. The bed was comfortable and the sheets spotless. There is a security key scan between reception and sleeping accommodation. I was not affected by noise as some others have been. Checkout was painless. The only downside was the poor lighting and signage around the entrance to the Shell/Travellodge complex and at the lodge entrance. But allow 20 minutes @ 0730 to reach Shawfair on time and when driving into the strong winter morning sunlight -that ring road is really dire! In essence,Dreghorn is good value for money for a one nighter.
