Jova Hotel Boutique

A beautiful little hotel and very comfortable. But the WiFi was totally useless! Bathroom of room 105 smelled of cat pee and there was a flashing green light all night in the rooms passage. Most disconcerting! Breakfast disappointing. Huge queues for coffee machine ( need 2) and toaster was also useless!!

The staff were all pleasant and professional and very helpful. The hotel is lovely, very clean. The bed was firm and the pillows soft. The breakfast was very nice and the food in the restaurant is high quality. It is literally (and I only use that word correctly) across the road from a great beach, and is on a long promenade with loads of good quality restaurants.

my wife and I spent seven days and found our stay fantastic. Our room was great and had a wonderful view. Buffet breakfast was excellent and the staff could not do enough for us. The Jazz night was superb .

I already had reservations about this hotel after a week long stay for myself and extended family was cancelled because the 'hotel was closing for august' to the find that the rooms were quickly available again at a much more inflated price. I booked elsewhere but had one night I needed accommodation for my self and my two children so had little choice but to book. Upon arrival I was told the room I had booked was not suitable for two children, after showing the emails confirming I could book this room they let me check in. Not a great start. I went to the room and it was immaculate with a lovely bathroom but the lock on the door was broken. I went to reception and they came up to check and agreed it was broken. I was told that it was a 'maintenance issue' and unfortunately they 'don't work Sundays'. I wasn't uncomfortable staying alone with two young children when the door wouldn't lock. I said I needed another room and was told it wouldn't be possible as the hotel was full. I felt like the lady was very unsympathetic telling me the hotel was very safe. Just to be clear: you can walk off the main ***** or through the back entrance, neither of which have security and enter the lift without any form of key card. In other worlds anyone can come in off the street or from the restaurant/bar and enter the lift taking them to all floors. Next we went for dinner in the restaurant and I didn't feel particularly welcome with my two children compared to the other places I had dined in el campello, the food was ok but overpriced. I then informed the staff I would pop up to the room to drop off some bits and would be coming to meet my sister for a drink. I checked that was ok and they said yes. I then get a call from my sister saying the staff were extremely rude telling her she couldn't have a drink without food despite there being empty tables. I had just spent nearly €100 on dinner. This meant I had to leave the hotel at 10pm alone with my two children to find my sister and have a drink. The hotel is the definition of style over substance, they have undertaken a grand renovation but the service needs renovating too. El Campello is a lovely, authentic welcoming place and you will find much better than this hotel.

Have had a lovely stay. Came for a long weekend. Weather perfect. Room comfortable and snug. Great views. Decor is very nice. Staff lovely. Ate several times in restaurant and food was really nice. Great breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

Room was beautiful. Had the sea room overlooking the ocean. Absolutely stunning every night and every morning. Breakfast was very good in the mornings and I dont know if more than 3 or 4 people actually had breakfasts in the morning other than us. Breakfast staff were kind and attentive even though we didnt speak much Spanish. Literally on the beach. Walking distance to everything. 10 minute walk to the El Campello tram stop. 30 minute ride into Alicante. Grocery store 5 minute walk away. Only downside is the restaraunt staff seemed to only wait on those over 50 or who seemed to be shelling out cash. We travel light and dont like to make a show but we definitely seemed to be passed over as we perhaps were not the usual clientele. Would probably go again but eat elsewhere on the shore.

We stayed two nights in May 22 in a Jova room current price (232 euros per night ) room has had a lot of money spent on it not particularly to our tast. The music from the restaurant was far too loud but once I commented it was trned down. great stay was it worth the money ? The bed an pillows were fantastic

If God created a place called heaven on earth, It would be named the unmistakable JOVA HOTEL BOUTIQUE in EL- Campello Spain. What a lovely clean and welcoming boutique hotel, My wife and I travelled from South Wales UK to see what Spain had to offer, other than Benidorm full of UK ex-pats.. The JOVA HOTEL BOUTIQUE not only provides a taste of true Spanish culture, Ideally placed over looking the seafront with beautiful sea views and impeccably clean beaches , You could actually role up your swimwear and throw them onto the beach front from your balcony suite it’s that close, But I wouldn’t recommend doing this.. The beach is raked clean every morning and the sea front walkways are also jet washed, no smoking or dogs allowed on the beach, these are patrolled daily, that’s how proud they are of there beach front in EL- Campello making there holiday resort first class, 5 star rated in anybody’s book. We found all the staff working at the JOVA HOTEL BOUTIQUE extremely courteous to all there guests, and conducted themselves very professionally in the way they all carried out there duties. We also found the staff very obliging and eager to assist to make you have a comfortable and memorable stay whilst staying in the JOVA HOTEL BOUTIQUE, We must pay compliments and our sincere thanks to all the staff members, especially Miryam, & Javier, who’s organisational skills being exceptional making guests very welcome during there stay. Our sea view room suite number 205 where we stayed, we found very clean and comfortable, The double bed was facing the patio balcony doors that were over looking the sea views allowing you to keep your privacy. Absolutely exceptional and romantic. The balcony comes with one table and two chairs with plenty of room to move around and chill away the hours, or watch the people walk along the sea front enjoying themselves on the beach, It’s all here waiting for you. The JOVA HOTEL BOUTIQUE provided a good selection of breakfast food, and meals served throughout the day, if you choose not to sit within your luxury surroundings down stairs, you could have your meals brought to your room. The massive bar area looks very impressive and well stocked. Obviously money having been poured into the JOVA HOTEL BOUTIQUE I gave this a 5 star rating, worth any money spent just to stay here in luxurious surroundings, with beach and sea view just outside. There are plenty of shops and variety of restaurants along the sea front walkway, you are spoiled for choice. We travelled by tram to Alicante for the day to see the 5 day long yearly town & street festival full of music, colour, and characters dressed up in beautiful colourful costumes, it was like Disneyland Florida on steroids.. They really know how to party 🎉 here, We didn’t want to leave. Keep the girls away from the shopping here, they will spend a fortune, you will find yourselves ending up with excess baggage to go home with, so travel light when coming here, it’s hot

Nice hotel clean overlooking the beach. Buffet breakfast which was very nice . Staff English speaking and very nice. The only 1 small little thing was the shower was very hard to regulate it was hot then cold then roasting, so you had to be careful. We will be back again.
