"Spent 2 nights at this hotel during our holiday. Small comfortable rooms ours had a gorgeous view over the flowers and onto the mountains. Breakfast plentiful We had a very early departure and staff were up to help with bags and provide us with a packed breakfast for the journey! Restaurant is next door - connected to hotel but separate (you can’t add the meal to your room bill) Just note if staying at full moon no alcohol served. Very convenient location for walk to 9 arch bridge and little Adam’s peak and a 15-20 minute walk down to main part of town"

"Stay away from this hotel! The hotel rooms isn’t what’s pictured on booking sites, the entrance is through a forest on a mountain and through other buildings. The walls is stained, door is leaking, and the room are nasty. The entrance pathway crumbled under me so a nail went through my foot and got several scratches. It is NOT a hotel, not even a bungalow. I would rather sleep with the homeless dogs than stay there one night. We checked out 30 minutes after we checked in. At least the manager was nice enough to give a full refund and drive us to another hotel."

"It’s a very cozy hotel in the heart of the jungle surrounded by trees and a breathtaking scenery. The rooms are kind of small but still worth it. Very friendly and helpful staff they ordered us a tuk tuk and waited for us even after the breakfast time to make us food. For those who aren’t used to mosquitoes, get some bug spray as you might have like 2 or three in the room but nothing dangerous. Special thanks to Dinith and the team."

"This relatively new hotel is only 5 minute drive from Ella town and down a steep slope off the main road (well sign posted). This in turn provides you with silence and tranquility in allowing you to have a great night's sleep, which we had. As you arrive the building is eye catching in it's design as it's fairly open planned and of a high standard build. The staff here were very attentive, interested in you and extremely polite (if somewhat new & some appeared to be recently trained ie nervous). We stayed for two nights and the hotel wasn't busy so it was fairly quiet which to be fair suited us. As it's fairly new, some minor works were still taking place (although not early morning or late evening), however did prevent us from using the pool, but we did understand though that the work was necessary to further enhance the hotel. The breakfast was beside the outdoor pool with amazing views and it's an excellent breakfast with good variety of choices, well presented by their kitchen. The rooms are a very good size, big bathroom, large bed and great balcony with unbelievable views over the countryside and the temple on the mountain above. Our room was extremely clean with all amenities provided (nice touch in staff turning your bed down each evening). I would fully recommend this hotel as it's unique in its style and presentation with attentive staff and luxurious rooms in an amazing location."

"Beautiful location close to the main strip and easy access to all the restaurants. Rooms are nice and tidy. Value for money is good here and has access to a mini bar in your room. Slight road noise but that stops at night. Great atmosphere with western music being played on a speaker. Short walk to 9 arches bridge and mini adams peak. We did the sunrise and took us 45 minutes to reach the peak. Service for breakfast was good with a large buffet selection, Nalaka was our host and was very good."

It was cold at night in the mountains, and there were mosquitoes, but luckily we brought mosquito coils! Overall, it didn't feel like a hotel anymore."

However, due to the surrounding chaotic development, the roads are narrow and steep, so driving there is thrilling ㅜㅜ.. Since it is still under construction, only the first floor and some facilities are open, and ingredients are not yet fully prepared.. The staff try to be friendly, but charging that price in the current state is excessive."

"A couple of rooms in a house located directly across from the Nine Arch Bridge, surrounded by forest. Clean and well-appointed rooms, very good and plentiful breakfast served on the terrace overlooking the bridge and watching the trains clatter by. Very friendly and attentive service. The only downside is that to reach the main road, you have to walk down a very steep path that can only be accessed by Tuk-Tuks; make sure you have a flashlight...or a charged phone for the evening!"

"This place is a little gem! The room is newly decorated and the same goes for the bathroom. Aircon and Wi-Fi are working great. Everything is spotless clean and super comfortable. You wake up in paradise and breakfast is just delicious. But moreover is the courtesy and kindness of the hosts that makes the difference. We have been treated with gloves, we couldn't ask for more. The location is excellent for exploring Ella and the surroundings but in a quiet corner of the town. And they also offer an exceptional car service to move around and/or to your next destination. I cannot recommend more this place, the best stay we had in Sri Lanka!!!"

"A very poor experience. While you wouldn't expect much in a tourist area for 2,000 yuan a night, the soundproofing was extremely poor and the hotel was located right next to the road, making the clatter of cars clear and loud even early in the morning. The windows were the worst kind of striped blinds, with huge gaps between them, effectively blocking out any light. The hot water was alternately hot and cold, making you scream with both cold and heat. The strange, large spider in the room wasn't worth mentioning. The only positive thing was the restaurant, situated on the cliffside, with a beautiful view."

"We arrived tired and out of sorts, but we were greeted so warmly that our spirits immediately improved. The hosts gave us tea, chatted in a homely way - you feel like a welcome guest, not a client. The hotel is on top of a mountain, and each room has an exit to a terrace with a stunning view. You wake up in the morning - and in front of you there are only mountains and silence. The room is clean, cozy, everything is thought out to the smallest detail. Breakfast was prepared especially for our preferences: fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, toast, even smoothies! The staff is not formally polite, but truly kind. If you want to not just spend the night, but feel cared for and relax your soul - this is definitely your place. I want to come back again and recommend it to everyone. Many thanks to the hosts for such an atmosphere!"
