Family Friendly Hotels in Central Jakarta

Della the reception desk was wonderful. Such a pleasant person for customer relations. She went an extra mile to assist me. The reception is on the first floor, not the ground level where you enter. The hotel is comfortable, offers sufficient breakfast. However, I recommend to purchase coffee separately for 25k. It is much better than the one included. The hotel has sauna, steambath, warm pool and a small gym on 3rd floor. The bed is comfortable, the towels are clean and new.

The hotel's exterior is incredibly luxurious, exuding a low-key elegance upon entering the lobby. The staff greet guests warmly and warmly. The rooms exude a warm atmosphere, the mattresses are comfortably comfortable, and the bathtubs are clean. The staff handle various inquiries exceptionally well. The hotel's dining options were also excellent, adding a lot of color to my trip.

Stayed here during a business trip and had a very good experience. The hotel is clean, quiet, and well-managed. My room was comfortable and the Wi-Fi worked reliably throughout my stay, which was perfect for getting work done. The staff were professional and friendly. Breakfast had a decent variety and the location was convenient for meetings and getting around the city. I’d definitely stay here again for future business visits.

The city view is so wonderful. You have to try stay in this hotel at least two nights for enjoying the view. Also, the food is delicious and very various. Even you are muslim and want to enjoy meals, you can request for Sahoor meal. You have to try the pool there. It is very interesting because it has city view. Overall, it is memorable to stay here.

Ascott Jakarta is in a prime location, offering convenient access to nearby attractions. A few minutes walk to Thamrin City, Grand Indonesia, Plaza Indonesia. The hotel features an old English-style interior, which gives it a classic vibe. I stayed in a two-bedroom suite with a fully equipped kitchen, including a fridge and cooking essentials—perfect for longer stays. Toileteries, towels, slippers are also available in the rooms. This hotel is a pet-friendly, as I saw someone with a puppy during my visit. I hope Ascott did separating rooms specifically for guests with pets. The lobby is on the smaller side, but it’s acceptable since it's not overly crowded. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, which made the experience even better. Overall, a comfortable and practical choice for both short and extended stays.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel while celebrating my wedding anniversary. The hotel made the occasion extra special with beautiful decorations and a complimentary cake. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. What stood out the most was the exceptional hospitality—all the staff were friendly and polite, always greeting us with a smile. Even the restaurant manager took the time to walk around during breakfast to greet guests and have a chat, which made our stay even more memorable. I truly appreciate the warm and welcoming atmosphere and would definitely return to this hotel!

Hotel building and lobby looked nice enough. Checking in was a breeze. Room hallway looks old and gloomy, reminded me of my dormitory days but with better colours. Bedroom didn't have much space, but was still tolerable. The wallpapers had yellowing/dried leak marks. Washroom was tiny and all the drains (sink & shower) are very slow at draining. And no lock for the washroom. The worst was the lighting, i turned off the lights while sleeping, woken up to a room fully lit with tv on maybe a couple hours later. I thought i might have accidentally pressed a button while sleeping. Turned everything off and went to sleep again, then same thing happened again. In total this happened 3 or 4 times, too tired and sleepy to care. I didn't bother complaining because it happened between the middle of the night to dawn. Even if I did complain the possible solutions would be to send a technician or switch me to a better room, and neither is desirable. I was on a one night business trip with full schedule both days. Breakfast was nice, plenty of options, but the service wasn't so good. When i was showed to my table, the host asked if i wanted coffee or tea, I picked coffee. Went around to take my breakfast, came back to table and coffee wasn't there. Then not long after i started eating, a waiter came by and asked if i wanted coffee or tea, said coffee. 5 minutes later another waiter came by if I wanted coffee or tea..again. Finally got my coffee a good 15mins later, I should've just gotten a cup myself. Asked for sunny side ups, eggs came after i finished my plate, about the same waiting time with coffee and the egg station was empty when I ordered. I'm sorry but I don't think this was a 5-star hotel, and the price wasn't worth it. I believe the problem with light was caused by the room card slot right to turn on the power. Must've gone wrong and failed to detect a card in the slot and shut everything off, then suddenly detected the card again, hence all power and light kept turning back on. Won't be staying there again Hallway picture doesn't look that bad in picture, because my phone decided to make it look nicer by auto-adjusting the light level, much darker in reality

We took the family king room which is to accomodate 3 adults. Check in time was 3pm, we arrived at 3.45pm but was told the room was not ready. However the staff at the check in counter gave us a temporary room (king deluxe room)to rest while we wait for our room to be ready. At 5pm they call saying the room was ready and we will be transfered to the our room. After we moved, we went out for dinner. At 10pm we went back to our room and realized that the sofabed was not ready and no pillow or blanket for the third adult to sleep. I call the guest service, and they came to set up. But i dont know what happened, they said the sofabed was broken so it cannot be set up. They will bring in an extra bed instead. The extra bed made the room less space to move around. I booked the room with sofabed is because i prefer to close it in day time so i have much space to roam around the room. That night also, i called the engineering team to repair the shower head holder. Because it seems not to hold the shower head properly which makes it difficult to use. They came an fixed it. But the next day, it became broken loose again. I gave up and just let it be. I dont expect this kind of room facilities from grand hyatt a five star hotel in Jakarta. Please maintain your rooms better. The staffs are all very helpful and friendly. I appreciate and extremely happy for that.

Requested & given a room at level 20 with view of Central Jakarta and Monas square which is the most famous monument of Jakarta. Big clean comfortable room with comfortable firm mattress. Big bath room with separate shower cubicle which is small inside. Strong hot water. The breakfast buffet is amazing - over 200 variety of food (Indonesian, Chinese, Jaoanese, Western, desserts, salad etc) spread over several counter and live cooking stations. The fresh fruits station is stingy and always cut the fruits slowly and gave me birds portion. I always asked for more... Old gym but has reasonable equipment and free weights, next to the pool area - 25m lap coveted pool and 1 outdoor pool packed with kids. There is a Chibese restaurant at ground floor which serves dim sim buffet on weekends Overall nice stay
