The hotel is very close to Nanhua Gate and is convenient for visiting Fenghuang Ancient City. The front desk staff were enthusiastic, patient and attentive, leaving a deep impression. Parking is available in the courtyard. The breakfast was so-so. It was said to be from 8 to 10 o'clock, but the porridge was gone before 9 o'clock. I called the waiter and still didn't have it. The room seemed cramped, and the downstairs was close to the street. Even with the double-glazed windows closed, there was still quite a bit of noise.

When I was looking for other hotels, I passed by this one and went in to see the room. I thought it was ok, so I stayed there. I was very satisfied with the whole process. The night shift receptionist was very handsome and helped with the luggage. The room was also very clean, with a smart toilet and smart speakers. It was a really good experience. The price was really worth it. Today I stayed at Zhangjiajie Hotel. There was no elevator on the second floor, so I carried my own suitcases. I recently stayed at this hotel. The good news is that the place was pretty clean, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. However, the bad news is that the whole hotel reeked of smoke, thanks to the chain-smoking neighbors. The lobby, hallways, canteen, and even my room were all filled with that nasty smell.

Really nicely decorated hotel. Id say one of the best hotels in this region. Given only four stars as our room was quite strong with cigarette smell. We informed the staff about it and they said they would send someone to fix it. I think what they did was just opening the window which made it worse as the cigarette smell was stronger when we came back possibly because we were on the second floor and someone was smoking outside. We didnt bother to tell them again as it was late and we just wanted to sleep. There was also some sticky stain on the floor that we asked them to clean it but it was still there when we came back.
Staff very friendly. A tea set is also provided.

The homestay is next to the square in the scenic area, close to the Nanhuali Visitor Center. Parking is very convenient. When I arrived, the parking lot was full. The boss personally went to the parking lot to help find the location. He was very enthusiastic. After settling in the hotel, the proprietress specially sent a map and introduced the route of the ancient city in detail. The recommended place to eat is also very good, distinctive and cost-effective.

GGuest UserThis hotel in Fenghuang was excellent! We were both American tourists that speak minimal Mandarin, and the owners were very patient in communicating with us. The owners were overall extremely kind, and they even upgraded our room for free. They also even walked us to the bus station when we left. The room was very clean and it was a great deal at its price. It was a perfect stay, and I would recommend anyone to stay here as well.

GGuest UserGreat location just off the nanmen bridge with views of the surrounding. Difficult part is getting from raileay station to guesthouse. Do not be fooled by the people telling you there are no taxis at the train station. Get out the dtation, walk a little and there is a taxi stand. The owner was very helpful to.meet us and help withbour luggage down a slope to the guesthouse. Room was comfortable with a balcony that overlooks the river front. Easy to explore yhe ancient city from the guesthouse and the owner was helpful explaining what to do and where to visit. A little old but happy with location. Just a warning that the noise from the establishment around goes on till 11:30pm. It can be very noisy.

The room was very spacious for 3 people.

They have proper amenities available.
The toilet was very big.
The location of the hotel was very convenient and it is walking distance to all the main attractions. It was a plus point as we were travelling with elderly people.
The hotel staffs were very helpful and approachable, they provided us the digital map and gave us guidance on how to walk around the ancient town. They also offered better ticket pricings for the different attractions that was available.
They came to fetch us when we arrived at the Nan Hua Men. They also arranged transport for us to the railway station as we were a group of 6.
Only downside was the noise from the vehicles in the eating street in front of the hotel, and some tour groups start their tour as early as 7am in the morning, as they walk by along the TuoJiang river. However, that was not an issue for us. We woke up early to sit at the balcony and have our morning coffee while watching people passing by.

Hostel location on the map is wrong. The hostel is on the left side of Snow Bridge if you are facing Tuo Jiang River. Hostel location is not beside Feng Huang 1st Bridge.
When reach carpark, our car cannot enter due to carpark full. The owner came to the main road to help us carry our luggage to the hostel. Same thing when we go back time, the owner helps us to bring the language to the carpark. Free transport provided to and from high-speed rail station.
Our balcony is facing the Tuo Jiang River with a view of the ancient city and the scenery at night is very beautiful with the Snow Bridge fully light up. A good, beautiful view of the Snow Bridge and surrounding area.
We book Family Suite - 2-Room, River-View (Balcony), a clean and very spacious room and with a great view. The location is convenient, and the housekeeping is good.
There are many music bars below the hostel and along the river, but all music stops at 11 pm, is a good initiative.
Hostel location is near to popular attractions, such as Hongqiao, Tuo Jiang Rock Jumping, Travel Photography Shop just below the hostel.
I am fully satisfied with my stay in the hostel.

BBiuBiumamaThe location of the hotel is good, right next to the scenic spot. However, there is still a big discrepancy between what the store said about getting off the airport bus and walking 800m. The roads in the small town were full of potholes, and it was difficult to walk after picking up the luggage. I followed the navigation all the way to the hotel, which took about twenty minutes. The store arranged for us to be on the 4th floor of the annex building, saying that the view was the best. At first I wanted to refuse, but the store made arrangements and let it go. How should I put it, I chose this company after seeing the good reviews from netizens about its service. But after paying so much premium during holidays, there is still no service at all. After asking the boss for the welcome fruit, the boss gave me two apples and three oranges.
One-day tour of Miao Village or self-driving tour of Miao Village with guide (choose one of two): I chose this hotel because I was going to Zhangjiajie the next afternoon. I couldn’t choose the one-day tour of Miao Village because it only started at 10 a.m. and in the afternoon. just came back. So I wanted to choose a self-driving tour in Miao Village, but the boss said that I have to prepare my own car. If I want to use the hotel's car, it will cost 200. If I want to have fun the next day and then take it to the high-speed rail station, it will cost 300. Hahaha, you are very angry, okay? Because tourists who want to choose a hotel can avoid lightning. I had to go to the station the next day, so I didn’t ask for it to be taken to the high-speed rail station. It could just be taken to the bus pick-up point in the town. At first, the staff refused, saying that there was no such service. Later, we said we didn’t want to go on a day trip, and why don’t we just send our luggage? We finally agreed. As a result, when we were about to leave, the staff said that the car had gone to take other guests off, and there were only two battery cars. In the end, there was only one battery car left. We had three suitcases, one big and one small. In the end, the battery car took away one of the biggest suitcases and one adult, and the rest had to walk by. Here we would like to thank the handsome guy who rode a battery car to send us off. Finally, I once again affirmed the location of this B&B. It was my first time staying in a B&B and it felt very average. I still liked the supporting services of the hotel. Location wise everything is walkable and nearby. Front desk was very nice & most of the staff. Restaurant is downstairs as well and open for lunch & dinner. There is also convenient store , spa, and lots more. Cleanliness 👍, spacious 👍 If you wanna have a great stay in Phoenix town. I highly recommend this hotel. 🫶

AAlejandro Ch.This boutique hotel is run by really nice and helpful people. We arrived around 9:00pm to the high speed railway station and there were no taxis or Didi available. We took the direct bus from the station to Qifeng Square which was a 7min walk from Hongqiao bridge and they went to pick us up to Qifeng square to help with our luggage (by foot of course, it’s basically a pedestrian area) ☺️. They were also kind enough to drop us off again to Qifeng square and helped with the bus tickets. Awesome customer service.
The location of the hotel was in the middle of everything, the balcony was a highlight. Maybe cleanliness could be improved, and some things like the bathroom carpet should be replaced. But that’s it.
Oh, there’s also this thing: while Fenghuang town is beautiful at night, it’s basically a party town when the sun sets. There’s a bar opposite to the hotel as other comments point out, but that’s not the only bar in the area. Wherever you walk along the river you will find a bar blasting music. Such a beautiful town ruined at night by bad local government regulations. If you like to sleep before 11:30pm (when music stops), maybe stay somewhere far away from the river. If sleeping late is okay for you, then this hotel works perfectly for the night.

GGuest UserThe owner and I are now good friends. The hotel is very clean and the owner and his grandmother are super nice. The grandmother is definitely a plus in my experience, she is incredibly sweet.
The owner took me to visit local places and meet other people and we became good friends. He looked after me very well and I ended up staying two extra nights.
The room is big and the beds are comfortable, the bathroom is clean. The location is very very central in the ancient city, might have a little trouble finding it at first but once you find it it’s perfect. (It is in one of the side alleys)
I am very grateful for the hostel owner and his friends for making me feel very welcomed and having a fun time!
