First of all, I would like to say about service, the staff (a tiny girl in glasses) is very very helpful and service-mind. The driver sent us at wrong gate, then she came to pick us up and assisted us to hotel and did the same thing when I go back, she tried to find taxi for us. Moreover, one of staffs gave me a gift when we check-out. The place is located close to south gate and popular and crowded. I spent time at balcony for long time, so happy. The room was clean and comfy. I love this place so much.

The room is very good, and the location is just right to overlook the Phoenix Ancient Town scenic area. The view is great when the lights are on, and there is an observation deck outside the room. I thought the house by the river would be very damp or moldy, but there was no such thing when I entered the room. I am very happy to live in such a room

The location of the hotel is nice, it’s close to everything but not quite in the midst of all the loud bars and restaurants. The rooms themselves were fine, although the walls were a bit dirty, and much of the tile could have used more caulking. The entire counter of our sink moved if bumped. Also, there was something not quite right with our shower head. However, the bed was comfortable and you can’t just beat the view from the balcony.
The owner was helpful when I took the initiative to add them on wechat as well. They gave us recommendations for food and advised us on where to do the river boat ride.
Overall, a fine place to stay for a night in Fenghuang.

I arrived late in the local area and checked in at 7:30pm. It was extremely hard to find the place, and it's not very obvious. Upon my arrival, the boss said, ”Because you are from abroad, it was difficult to contact you. We normally go and pick you up. ” The reception/ check-in area stank of cigarettes and felt so uncomfortable being in a confined area. The owner took me to my room, which was the biggest he said. It smelled musky/damp, but the bed was soft and comfortable. Since I was only staying for 2 nights. The second night, the card key didn't work. Texted the owner, and he said it needs to be checked in every day, which he didn't mention. Luckily, I left my window open during the afternoon and managed to open the door from the side. There is a mini fridge, but it makes a lot of noises, so I have to unplug it. The bathtub was really nice. Breakfast is good, a bowl of hot noodle soup, hot fresh soya milk. .

We were very satisfied with the room. We originally planned to stay for two nights, but later extended it for another night. We could also experience Miao clothing for one hour for free. We stayed for three nights. The boss said we could wear three sets of clothing for three hours, but my photographer thought it was too much trouble, so I only wore one set and took pictures for a while. Now I still feel a little regretful.

I took my children out on a holiday, and there were too many people. The car was parked outside the scenic area. A shuttle bus was arranged to take us to the vicinity of the homestay, and then we had to walk 3-5 minutes to the homestay. There were two brothers to help carry the luggage (the luggage was heavy with the children, thank them very much). There were hand-drawn maps and they would help explain the tour route. There were too many people. It would be better to take the children out when it is not a holiday.

The owner is friendly and very helpful, picked us up at the tourist centre and also help with the luggages. The place is very convenient, next to Fenghuang bridge. We can see some might performances from our balcony. There also have a roof top that can see a better view. Thank you, we had a good time in Fenghuang.

I loved this hotel so much!!!!! It's in an amazing location, right in the middle of the Ancient Town. Everything is in a short walking distance, and at night you can see performances happening on the river. The balcony is such an amazing space, I would sit there even though the weather was cold as hell. The staff didn't speak English, but they were still incredibly nice!
One thing to note is that since it's in such a central location, it can get loud. It didn't bother me, usually things went quiet before I went to bed, but you might want to bring some earplugs.

SStuart_KingThe location of the B&B is very convenient, just a few hundred meters away from the Nanhuali Visitor Center.
The room is quite big and the facilities are well maintained.
There is a small balcony where you can read a book, drink tea and listen to the sound of running water.
There is also free dinner provided, and it is quite happy to be able to eat home-cooked meals during the trip.
In the evening, I drank tea on the first floor and ate the jelly made by the housekeeper Long Jie. It was very thoughtful~
It is said that the price is cheaper in the off-season
All in all, the price/performance ratio is very good!

NNsllLOverall, I'm quite satisfied. The room is clean and comfortable. It's obvious that a lot of effort has been put into decorating it. My favorite thing about it is the balcony. It has an unobstructed view of the entire river. The towels are all disposable. This is great. I'm not afraid of hotels. Can't wash it clean or anything. There is also butler service, special car pick-up and drop-off, and the front desk car is very polite and enthusiastic. The only drawback is the breakfast. I hope it can be more diversified. If I have the opportunity to go to the ancient city again, I will come back again! !

A room is not big, but very comfortable for a one person stay. Please keep in mind, that the toilet has half-transparent glass wall, so for traveling couples it might be a leap to a next level of intimacy:)
As it's located immediately at the river bank, where most bars are also located, be prepared for the outside noise (loud music, stops at 11.30 pm), but with closed door to the balcony very tolerable. For me it was fine as the wonderful view on the balcony was more important.
Balcony has a small table and two chairs (one of which is a swing), great for breathing out and chilling after a busy day on you feet after visiting all the scenic areas.
The place is quite clean, no smell of tobacco of whatsoever.
Would definitely recommend for short stay.

Our accommodation is Fenghuang Tuojiangdian, or its full name, Fenghuang Tuojiangdian, or its full name, Fenghuang Tuojiangdian, located on the banks of the Tuojiang River. The highlight of this place is not only its convenience, but also its quiet atmosphere, which is hard to find in a tourist area like this.

This place gives a very peaceful and relaxing feeling, as it is located on the banks of the Tuojiang River, the main river in the ancient town. This allows you to fully enjoy the river view without the loud music from nearby restaurants. The owner of the hotel took great care of us and was friendly from the beginning. He came out to pick us up at the bus stop and helped carry our large bags to our room. This reflects the attention to detail here.

The room is exquisitely decorated in an ancient Chinese style that perfectly matches the atmosphere of Fenghuang City. The bed is comfortable. CChangtuijiejiekaqiusuoFenghuang Ancient City is a B&B with high-altitude views. It is within 10 minutes away from Hongqiao. There is Fengqiao downstairs, which is very convenient. You can take a taxi on the road opposite Fengqiao.
The biggest feature of the room is that the view is great, the river view and the city view are great, and there is also a room with a bathtub, which is no less than a star hotel in Changsha.
I took a lot of photos on the terrace of his home, with the Tuojiang River and Diaojiaolou in the background. The atmosphere was so strong.

They can sit in the courtyard in the morning. The owner is also very enthusiastic and kind, just like a friend, and will introduce us which restaurant has delicious food. It is also very convenient to stay in Dengli Courtyard when visiting scenic spots, so that you can go back to the inn to rest when you are tired.

We didn’t add the owner’s contact information and didn’t know the name of the store. So we asked the boss to help us find the owner who took the photo and refund the deposit. The room was tastefully decorated, spacious and comfortable.The hotel hosts were very friendly and accommodating from start to finish and I will definitely stay here again when I return. While I speak very limited Mandarin, they were happy to chat with a translation app and help me during my stay. I truly appreciated their kindness and I wish I had stayed longer as this cute little town has lots to enjoy as part of a relaxing vacation.

GGuest User1. The location is very good, in the century-old hanging foot building by the Li River. At night, you can watch Cuicui dance on the balcony, you don’t have to follow the head of the people. 🥳
2. The room facilities are very good, the hygiene is also very clean, although the sparrow is small and complete, because it is Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day, the beautiful boss prepared a large plate of fruit and local moon cakes for us, very warm.
3. The beautiful proprietress is very enthusiastic and loves to laugh. The little brother at the front desk picked us up because there were more luggage with the children. When we checked out, the little brother at the front desk also sent us to the shuttle bus.
Although this trip is a double festival, everything is going well. I stayed for a day. There were too many people to take pictures. I will travel on a staggered peak next time and stay a few more days. ㊗️ The boss's business is booming!

MMeryll EcitaGot the non-window room, however what I chose this for is the rooftop view which had some chairs and table you can hang out. It has a squatting toilet, which I was thankful I had yoga squatting practice. Staff has 0 english but helpful. The hotel's first floor is a costume/makeup shop. Top location. Once upstairs, you don't hear any of the noise outside. Highly recommended if you want proximity, a great rooftop for taking photos and the basics, tho I realized a hotel outside the center would've been more peaceful and has friendlier locals but would take some walking. The peak crowded hours can get really hectic and cause a lot of stress. Be sure to wake up early in the morning, the most beautiful part without people yet.
