The hotel is antique and the service is warm and thoughtful. The location is between Lover's Bridge and Snow Bridge. After Lover's Bridge is the north gate of the ancient city, which is very convenient for eating and playing. The hotel also upgraded us to a river view room. When we opened the balcony door, we could sit on the small swing and enjoy the river view at night. It was so comfortable! It took 3-5 minutes to walk to the Liwan parking lot. The housekeeper Xiaotian and his brother came to the parking lot to pick us up and dropped us off at the parking lot when we left. You can choose your own breakfast the day before, and it will be delivered to the room at the agreed time the next morning. The special steamed rice, rice noodles, milk, eggs, cakes and fruits are all very good! I also gave a local specialty ginger candy as a gift when I left the store, thank you!

Travel with the elderly and children, and meet a good proprietress in a good inn. When I arrived at Phoenix, the proprietress personally greeted me at the gate of the ancient town, and because I was taking the elderly and children with me, I couldn't be too tired, so the proprietress also helped plan a reasonable and non-tiring itinerary. The room is clean and tidy, and the scenery is invincible. Sitting in the room, you can enjoy the beauty of Phoenix leisurely. A pleasant trip.

This little hotel on the banks of the river couldn't have tried harder to please, from the first moment I arrived till I left, the staff worked tirelessly to ensure I was happy and looked after. The hotel is a 10 minute walk along the banks of the river to reach the centre of the ancient town, something I think I preferred as the noise in the evenings from karaoke bars in the centre goes on till late. I was upgrade to one of the loft rooms, the bed was lovely and comfy with good linen and the walkin shower was excellent. The TV was massive and there was a lovely view of the river from the seating area. The entrance was a bit tricky to identify and hence why I have included a better photo.

I loved this hotel so much!!!!! It's in an amazing location, right in the middle of the Ancient Town. Everything is in a short walking distance, and at night you can see performances happening on the river. The balcony is such an amazing space, I would sit there even though the weather was cold as hell. The staff didn't speak English, but they were still incredibly nice! One thing to note is that since it's in such a central location, it can get loud. It didn't bother me, usually things went quiet before I went to bed, but you might want to bring some earplugs.

Smart Travel Advice: One of the standout moments was the boss's strategic travel advice regarding our journey to Xian. He wisely suggested an alternative route, advising us to take a train to Changsha and then a flight to Xian, saving us from the potentially high costs of high-speed train tickets. We appreciated the boss's insight, and it turned out to be a wise decision. Generous Gesture: As we were occupied with purchasing train and air tickets near the reception counter, the staff surprised us with a heartwarming gesture. They offered a complimentary lunch for our families, showcasing their hospitality and making us feel truly valued. This unexpected act of kindness added a special touch to our stay. We highly recommend this establishment to fellow travelers seeking not just accommodation but a memorable and personalized experience.

The accommodation experience is great, and the two cats in the B&B are also very cute! The room was also very clean and the location was good. And the boss is super nice! ! ! We caught the 8:30 high-speed train this morning and asked the boss how to take the special bus to Fenghuang Ancient City High-speed Railway Station. After the boss told us, he said if you don’t know the way, I will take you there. Then he took us there at around 7 o'clock. When buying the tickets, he asked the sister to hurry up. We were worried that we might not be able to catch the bus in time. I’m really touched. Thank you boss! !

After comparing many options, I finally chose this one, and it turned out to be the right choice. The room environment is good, and the balcony is also very suitable for viewing the river view, which is great for taking pictures. The hygiene is okay. The service attitude of the store is really outstanding. They are very enthusiastic when picking up and dropping off. They also help us carry our luggage and recommend delicious restaurants... The boss’s service attitude is very good. The boss came to pick me up when I lost my way twice. He even adjusted the TV for me. The TV can be cast to watch movies. The room is facing the river and decorated with wooden antiques. The scenery is good and you can take pictures. There are door curtains to prevent mosquitoes, coffee tables and tea making equipment, but I didn't use them. The air conditioner has a good cooling effect, and it won't be hot when the air conditioner is turned off at night. The location of the room is very close to Hongmen, separated from the ancient city wall. The fly in the ointment is that the toilet is squatting, and there is a photo spot outside the window. There will be photographers from makeup shops taking pictures here. It would be better to close the doors and windows. There was a small episode when I checked out the next day, but the boss quickly resolved it with a very good attitude. The price can be said to be very cost-effective during the peak season. I recommend staying here

The hotel has parking outside, but it is only short term. They want you to park in a parking lot 1.5 km away, which is not that convenient. The hotel is just up the hill from the main area where the singer and light show is on the river, which is handy. You can also truly get a room with a view. The room was basic, with a hard bed and ok bathroom. Not a lot for the money, but Fenghuang is not a place to find good value. The wall was very thin, and all the TV noise from next door came through, which was annoying. The common areas and lift were very dirty, and overall, it did not feel like a high class of hotel.
