The room was small (think inside cabin on cruise ship), but the hotel is well located and not loud at all at night. Breakfast was included and had many options. Front desk staff was always very friendly. AC worked well, which was good as the afternoons got warm.

Évitez cet hôtel si vous cherchez un vrai 4 étoiles. Tout d’abord. à notre arrivée. nous recevons une chambre minuscule et exiguë, type économique, alors que nous avions réservé une chambre familiale via Booking. Le réceptionniste nous explique que c’est en raison d’un accord entre Booking et Hotelbeds. Nous avons été victimes de la situation et avons reçu cette chambre dont la porte d’entrée et d’accès à la salle de bains sont plus petites que moi. Pas de place pour les valises non plus. Heureusement nous avons reçu une autre chambre le lendemain. Le 2ème jour, comme nous partions très tôt en excursion, nous avions commandé un petit déjeuner à emporter et le matin, rien n’était préparé, même pas une bouteille d’eau. Le soir, en rentrant vers 20h, mauvaise surprise : pas d’eau chaude dans la chambre et après 3 demandes de plus en plus insistantes, le pauvre réceptionniste a trouvé une solution après 1h30 d’attente. Merci à lui! Mais lorsque nous nous sommes plaints pour l’eau froide, la réponse a été « nous ne sommes pas des magiciens »Globalement, cet hôtel très bien situé ne correspond pas aux normes d’un hôtel 4 étoiles. Certains endroits sont défraîchis, même pas très propres. Il y a des saletés dans les coins de la chambre. Nous avons même vu un cafard, heureusement sans vie, près de la salle du petit déjeuner. Une odeur d’égouts plane dans la salle-de-bain, peut-être à cause du broyeur sanitaire qui est.. apparent. C’est décevant surtout pour le prix. Nous regrettons de devoir déconseiller cet hôtel, d’autant plus que , depuis que nous avons demandé à parler à quelqu’un de la direction… nous attendons toujours. E. Hamesse & M. Alvin

The hotel is in a great location. For our first two nights, they put us a very small room — 15 sq m — with a small bed and it wasn’t comfortable for a couple. For our third and final night, they gave us a decent room. Breakfast is not included. Pool and hot tub were closed. There is a wine cellar that is interesting, but they say the dusty bottles are from the 1700s/1800s, while one could see that they’re from the 1960s/70s. That tells me something.

Il personale dell'Hotel è stato gentilissimo. La camera era spaziosa e confortevole. Pulizia perfetta. Letto molto comodo. Colazione standard. Posizione dell'Hotel eccezionale. Si raggiunge il Duomo a piedi in meno di 5 minuti. Rapporto qualità prezzo molto buono.

We had a wonderful stay here for my wife's 60th birthday. All the rooms are different in furnishings & very niche. The breakfast was so much more than we expected, with a selection of hot & cold foods. The pancake maker machine was a winner & every hotel should have one!!!! One morning we had to leave early for a trip & the hotel had laid on a selection of breakfast foods to take with us on our trip. The hotel is perfectly situated for all the main attractions, most being just a short walk away. I would certainly use this hotel again & would recommend it to anyone else

Bel albergo al centro di Firenze, stanze grandi e ben arredate.. e ottima accoglienza. L'unico neo la colazione. Comunque da ripetere come esperienza nel futuro.. da consigliare per un week end romantico nella Firenze del centro.. per avere tutto a pochi passi

They gave us a room at the back of the dining room and the window overlooks the patio where the breakfast tables are. When we were settling in, a disgusting cockroach came out... since they didn't have any more rooms, they sent us to a residence and the next day Next they gave us a room, (we paid for a 4* hotel room not a residence) the truth is a disappointment with the hope that you are going to visit Florence we saw three rooms and none of them correspond to the ones that appear on the website lousy hotel to be a 4* needs renovation, the stairs to the rooms are too steep

We arrived at this hotel around lunchtime and our room was not ready, when we returned mid-evening, our room was number 10, which is adjacent to where we were serves lunch. This room is sinister, dark, the window faces the dining room and not the outside, it was impossible to accept this room which looked like a horror film. There was no wardrobe the kettle was on the floor. The bathroom door was moldy raw wood. The smell of the room was terrible.

Well located hotel well connected to various attractions of the city, weekend given to my partner on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of their engagement, very friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast, the only exception was the very poor cleanliness in the room.

Hotel very well located, 3 blocks from the Duomo. Breakfast was included and was American style, very complete. The only thing to criticize is that they placed us in a room on the ground floor, with a window that overlooked the breakfast room and could not be opened (it did not ventilate to the outside). I recommend clarifying this when checking in.

I stayed with my brother's family, nephew, and daughter. It's near the central market. I had a very comfortable time

Small room but equipped with everything. The bathroom is located in a sort of mezzanine, tiny and without a window: consequently, in no time at all, it becomes nothing short of "sweltering". Stairs to access the rooms are dizzying and steep but fascinating. Satisfactory and promoted international breakfast. The hotel's location is obviously crazy, a stone's throw from the Duomo. Competent staff.

State LONTANI! ho soggiornato all’Hotel Ginori al Duomo il giorno del mio compleanno 2 dicembre , sperando in un’esperienza memorabile a Firenze. Invece, mi sono ritrovato in un incubo caratterizzato da grave negligenza e scarsa manutenzione. Il disastro è iniziato con un’attesa prolungata di due ore per il check-in, un segno premonitore della disattenzione generale dell’hotel verso i propri ospiti. Tuttavia, il vero orrore si è rivelato nella camera “superior” dove sono stato trasferito dopo essermi lamentato delle condizioni inaccettabili della prima stanza (allego foto). Pagando un supplemento di 25 euro a notte, mi aspettavo un netto miglioramento, ma invece mi sono trovato di fronte a pareti coperte di muffa(allego foto), un serio problema di salute e igiene che non può essere ignorato. Questo problema della muffa non è un caso isolato, come confermato da altre recensioni che ho letto. È evidente che l’hotel non prende sul serio la manutenzione e la pulizia delle sue strutture, ignorando così le esigenze fondamentali dei propri ospiti. La mancanza di un asciugacapelli funzionante in camera e l’assenza di un phon di riserva in una fredda serata di dicembre hanno ulteriormente accentuato questa trascuratezza soprattutto per la mia compagna con i capelli lunghi. Anche quando ho cercato assistenza tramite American Express e *******, con cui avevo prenotato, il direttore dell’hotel ha mostrato una chiara riluttanza a collaborare. Questa mancanza di attenzione al cliente e il rifiuto di risolvere i problemi segnalati evidenziano una gestione scadente e un servizio clienti non all’altezza. Inoltre, la promessa di una bottiglia di vino inclusa nella camera superior si è rivelata una mera illusione, poiché non è stata mai consegnata. L’assenza di un ascensore, un dettaglio non specificato in anticipo, è stata solo un altro inconveniente in un soggiorno già pieno di delusioni. In conclusione, sconsiglio fortemente l’Hotel Ginori al Duomo a chiunque cerchi un soggiorno confortevole e rispettoso a Firenze. La presenza di muffa, la mancanza di attenzione al cliente e la disattenzione generale alle esigenze degli ospiti rendono questo hotel una scelta altamente sconsigliabile, in particolare per occasioni speciali come un compleanno.
