I recently stayed at your hotel and was pleasantly surprised to find that Waylon, the front desk agent, was from my hometown when I checked in. I'm writing to express my gratitude and commendation. When you're away from home, there's nothing more comforting than meeting someone from your own town. Waylon's familiar accent instantly brought us closer during check-in. Not only did he efficiently and professionally handle the check-in process, but he also enthusiastically chatted with me about updates from our hometown. That sense of familiarity truly warmed my heart. What touched me even more was that after learning it was my first time in this city, he proactively helped me plan my itinerary for the next few days. The restaurants and attractions he recommended were very authentic, the kind of 'insider tips' only a fellow townsman would share. Honestly, when traveling and staying in hotels, the most dreaded thing is cold, standardized service. But Waylon made me feel a different kind of warmth – he wasn't just a professional front desk agent, but more like an old friend supporting you in a foreign land. This kind of genuine sincerity and enthusiasm can't be taught by any training manual.

Facilities: Although a bit old, everything is fully functional. I still prefer hotels like this.
Hygiene: I especially loved the hotel's scent, and it was very clean with no small insects, probably because the air conditioning was consistently set to over 20 degrees Celsius. The duvet was very comfortable, light yet warm.
Environment: Very grand. Across the street is a park, and not far away there's a dim sum restaurant that's absolutely delicious. Of course, the hotel's dim sum is good too, but I still prefer the one near the park across the street, haha.
Service: The staff were incredibly polite. I was exploring the hotel past 9 PM, and a staff member proactively introduced me to the Chinese restaurant, the buffet restaurant, and the swimming pool. They were never cold or awkward, which was great.
The hotel lobby is on the second floor. Dim sum is also on the second floor. Personally, I think the dim sum is better than the regular breakfast. The durian pastry was amazing, both beautiful and delicious.
An old-brand hotel is still an old-brand hotel, just like an old Ferrari is still a Ferrari.
