Oh, and it's super close to Lingnan Tiandi, there are lots of great food options nearby, and ordering takeout is really convenient. The location is excellent. Plus, there's a smart speaker that can play music and screen mirror! So comfortable!"

Even worse, after specifically requesting extra towels at the reception, they were never delivered. Disappointing Breakfast Selection: The breakfast buffet lacked variety, serving the exact same items every single day. Compared to other hotels in China at a lower price point, the food and overall value fell significantly short. Verdict: Given the service lapses, repetitive dining options, and out-of-the-way location, the value for money simply isn't there. I would not recommend staying here, especially for business travelers who value efficiency and reliable service."

"I've been coming to Chencun frequently for business lately, and after comparing several hotels in the area, I always end up staying at the New Grand Hyatt. For a business traveler, the value for money here is truly unbeatable. The transportation is super convenient; it's only a 10-15 minute taxi ride to Guangzhou South Station, so I never have to wake up early to catch my high-speed train. Plus, there's a subway station nearby, making it easy to get around even without a car. As a long-term business traveler, the laundry room is key for me. The washers and dryers here are available 24/7, so I don't have to lug a pile of dirty clothes home. When I have some downtime, I can also pop down to the gym for a quick workout, which helps relieve the fatigue from sitting all day. The Wi-Fi in the room is stable, so online meetings run smoothly without any lag, and there's plenty of desk space for my laptop and documents. The housekeeping is excellent; the cleaning staff is thorough every day, and the 24-hour hot water is reliable, so showering late at night is never an issue. The front desk staff is efficient; checking in, extending my stay, or storing luggage never takes long. Once, I left my data cable behind, and the staff kindly kept it safe for me. The breakfast is simple but complete, with porridge, pastries, and hot dishes – just enough to fuel up before heading out for the day. The hotel's soundproofing is decent; hallway noise isn't an issue, so I can get a good night's sleep. There are no hidden fees or unexpected charges, which is a huge plus. I'll definitely be making this my go-to hotel for future business trips."

The 'featured activities' booked through Ctrip were not explained at all by the front desk. I have no idea what the 'double movie viewing' was, and I didn't get to experience it. The 15-minute spa massage experience – I'm not sure if that was just referring to the massage device in the room. The worst part was the staff member at the breakfast restaurant entrance checking tickets; their attitude was awful. If you're going to set height limits for children, you should at least put up a height chart instead of just eyeballing it. Facilities: It's a new hotel, the rooms are spacious enough, and the facilities are quite new. Hygiene: Very clean, no issues there. Environment: It's located around a scenic area, so there's not much to explore or eat nearby. Restaurants are quite a distance away, so if you want to try local specialties, you'll need to take a taxi to the city center."
