"The room is spacious with high ceilings, much higher than average hotels. The facilities are also excellent. It really lives up to its location in the Foshan furniture market. The service is great, very proactive and attentive; anything I asked for was delivered immediately. The breakfast, especially, was outstanding. Everything seemed to be freshly prepared, better than any good hotel I've stayed in for years. My kid even insisted on going back for breakfast again instead of joining me for dim sum outside. The noodle bar's alkaline noodles were the authentic, springy kind you find in proper wonton noodles. My only regret was the strong, overpowering perfume smell on the lobby floor – I really couldn't stand it. It would be great if the room windows could open just a crack for some fresh air! Surely, with current technology, they could manage ventilation while still ensuring safety. The hotel is conveniently located right above the Louvre Furniture Mall, and on the 7th floor, there's the famous 'Zhuroupo' Shunde cuisine restaurant – it's a complete one-stop experience."

"I often eat at this hotel's buffet lunch, and it's delicious. So, this time, when traveling with friends and kids, we chose to stay here. Since it was a vacation, we mostly stayed at the hotel, so after an overall assessment, we picked this place. First, the hotel's environment is genuinely good. It's right next to Lingnan Tiandi, and the Ancestral Temple is right in front of you. The location is truly excellent, and the subway is also nearby. Second, the hotel facilities are decent and not old. We spent an hour in the gym, and there were quite a few pieces of equipment. Third, the hotel breakfast is very rich, though it gets crowded, so you have to look for a table. Otherwise, it's good. Also, the hotel rooms are fairly clean, but there's no separate shower; you have to stand in the bathtub, which is a bit inconvenient. Everything else was fine. The fan was quite noisy at night and affected my sleep. Finally, what I'm most unhappy about is the service. I arrived at the hotel at 2:30 PM. There were only a few people, and three desks were handling check-ins. I waited for a full half-hour, only to be told my room wasn't ready. Are you kidding me? Check-in is at 2 PM. My friend arrived at 2 PM and had already checked in, and she told them we were together. I also informed Ctrip in advance that we were together and requested rooms as close as possible. Then, an hour later, they told me the room hadn't been cleaned yet and asked me to wait. I was very unhappy and asked the front desk attendant to call her manager. The attendant went in and came out, then said they could arrange a room for me, but it wouldn't be on the same floor. This made me even angrier, so I insisted on speaking to the manager. The manager finally arrived late and told me that because it was the weekend, they were busy, and that's why the room wasn't ready. Hearing this made me even more annoyed. What's the point of telling me that? I want a solution. Then, after seeing Ctrip call me, she said she had arranged a room on the same floor, just a bit further away. I then asked if it was an upgrade because when I booked, it said upgrades were possible if rooms were available. My friend, who had the same room type, was upgraded to a king-size bed, while I had twin beds. The manager said there were no upgrade options for twin rooms and that to upgrade, I'd have to switch to a king bed. If there's no upgrade for twin rooms, then why do you state that upgrades are possible? But I really didn't have the energy to argue with her. I'm here to enjoy myself, not to get angry, so I just let it go. I had almost forgotten about all of this until just now, after checking out and sitting in the car home. My friend messaged me saying the hotel felt very apologetic for not upgrading me and had given her a small gift for me. I suddenly found it quite funny. You didn't give it to me when I checked out, but after I left, you gave it to my friend to pass on? What's the meaning of that? My friend and I rarely see each other once a year; do we have to meet up again specially for this? If you're truly apologetic, why didn't you bring it to me directly when I stayed for so long? I'm genuinely speechless with your hotel's service and arrangements. I'm not after your small gift; I'm just speechless at how you handled it. You did the work, you showed your intent, but you failed to make the guest feel it."

"This time, I was in Foshan for a business trip and stayed at this hotel several times. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations. The hotel's location is excellent, close to Qiandeng Lake, where I could take a leisurely stroll and enjoy the breeze. It was also very convenient to take a taxi to shopping areas for meals, which was a great convenience for business travelers. The check-in process was smooth. The front desk staff, Shirley, Lucas, and May, were very courteous and didn't just mechanically go through the motions. Their communication was gentle and efficient. On several occasions, when I had small last-minute requests, their response was prompt, and they genuinely helped coordinate and resolve issues. I could feel that their service came from the heart, not just superficial pleasantries. The guest rooms were spacious and airy with excellent natural light. The room was well-maintained and clean, with the desk and bathroom corners meticulously tidied. The bedding was soft and comfortable, providing a great way to relieve fatigue after a busy day. The bathroom had ample and stable water pressure, making for a good daily experience. The hotel's public areas were grand and elegant, and the lobby and corridors were kept very clean. It was comfortable to relax in the lobby during downtime. The breakfast selection was rich, offering both Cantonese dim sum and Western light meals, with hot food replenished promptly, catering to various tastes. The gym and swimming pool were well-equipped, making it convenient to squeeze in a workout between business engagements. Of course, it wasn't absolutely perfect, and there's a little room for improvement in a few minor details, but overall, the minor flaws don't overshadow its excellence. Whether for business or a short leisure trip, this hotel is a great choice. My entire stay was reassuring and relaxing, and the dedication of the service team was genuinely felt. When I return to Foshan in the future, I will still prioritize staying here and would gladly recommend it to friends who are traveling."

"Loved my stay here! The lake-view room offered stunning views of Yayee Park and a distant glimpse of Foshan TV Tower. The room was spacious and bright, with smart controls that were easy to use. It was impeccably clean and tidy, and the hot water was plentiful and consistent. Plus, the minibar drinks were complimentary! The hotel is very thoughtful; on the 13th floor, next to the laundry room, there's a scenic corridor where you can relax and enjoy the view while waiting for your clothes. Breakfast was also high-quality, a great blend of Western and Chinese options. They even had local Foshan specialties like Chen Cun noodles and Lun Jiao cakes, alongside toast and salad. I didn't have time to try the gym or the infinity pool this time, but I'll definitely make sure to next visit. The front desk staff and the manager in black were incredibly genuine and attentive, patiently answering my questions with a smile. They even recommended Qixiangji, a local chicken restaurant, which turned out to be fantastic!"

"This time, I traveled with friends, and we communicated in advance hoping to get rooms on the same floor. Andy was incredibly helpful and managed to arrange everything beforehand. We were assigned to the same floor directly upon check-in, which was very convenient for socializing. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the overall environment was excellent, and the executive lounge experience was great. The staff were friendly, service responses were prompt, and attention to detail was excellent. In our free time, we could also explore the gym and children's play area; the facilities are comprehensive. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and will definitely choose this place again next time!"

"Staying at the Marriott Foshan, right in the heart of Qiandeng Lake, is truly a top-tier luxury experience! The front desk staff upgraded my room to one with a balcony. The location, view, and service are all exceptional. I fell in love with it after just one stay. Opening the door, I was immediately amazed by the floor-to-ceiling windows and the balcony overlooking Qiandeng Lake. During the day, the lake view is stunning, and in the evening, when the lights come on, the night view is breathtaking. The warm lighting creates a wonderful ambiance, and the bedding is so soft, like sinking into clouds – I fell asleep as soon as I hit the bed. The marble bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, a huge bathtub, and high-end amenities. All the facilities at this five-star hotel are comprehensive, so no need to pack a ton of luggage for business trips. Don't miss the panoramic glass dome pool on the 5th floor, and the fully equipped gym + yoga room!"

"The room was huge and there were 2 toilets. There was also a welcome fruits plate for us. The hotel breakfast had a very good view because it was on the highest floor. The staff service was pretty good too because they lent us a China number to book tickets online. Our door was faulty and they got it fixed while we were having breakfast. Halfway through breakfast they came to return us our keys and report to us that they had fixed the issue."

"The hotel was very clean and the soundproofing was excellent. I was a bit worried when I found out we were on the 3rd floor facing the street, especially with two kids, fearing they'd be woken up in the middle of the night. But it turned out to be a pleasant surprise! The service was fantastic, really on point. I might have missed the call for our takeout delivery, so after calling the front desk, they immediately brought it up to our room. Before I even had a chance to ask for two extra toothbrushes and slippers, they thoughtfully sent them up, along with milk for the kids. Plus, the room included a buffet breakfast and dinner, which were delicious. The shrimp, in particular, were very fresh. Sometimes at buffets, the shrimp are frozen, but here they were great. I'll definitely choose this hotel again if I'm in the area."

"Facilities: Although a bit old, everything is fully functional. I still prefer hotels like this. Hygiene: I especially loved the hotel's scent, and it was very clean with no small insects, probably because the air conditioning was consistently set to over 20 degrees Celsius. The duvet was very comfortable, light yet warm. Environment: Very grand. Across the street is a park, and not far away there's a dim sum restaurant that's absolutely delicious. Of course, the hotel's dim sum is good too, but I still prefer the one near the park across the street, haha. Service: The staff were incredibly polite. I was exploring the hotel past 9 PM, and a staff member proactively introduced me to the Chinese restaurant, the buffet restaurant, and the swimming pool. They were never cold or awkward, which was great. The hotel lobby is on the second floor. Dim sum is also on the second floor. Personally, I think the dim sum is better than the regular breakfast. The durian pastry was amazing, both beautiful and delicious. An old-brand hotel is still an old-brand hotel, just like an old Ferrari is still a Ferrari."
