Fukuoka Hana Hostel

Overall it was a nice place to return to after playing late at Ikebukuro because if the availability of LUUP escooters. There was a parking point right outside the home itself that parks up to 2 units so i got to ride back or ride out to the surrounding stations with ease. It is a 10min walk to the nearest station Senkawa which is 2 stops away from Ikebukuro itself. But despite having 2 big luggages, because of the relatively smooth paths, it wasn't too hard to get to the home. I thankfully foresaw my heavy luggages and booked a room on the first floor, otherwise it may have been too troublesome to lug them up the narrow stairwell. At first navigation could be a bit troubling because the Apple maps would direct you on the opposite side of the home entrance, so it'd be best to follow the clear instructions provided by Akira after reaching Senkawa. The room was pretty spacious, i got to open up both my luggages. There was even a mini fridge and a table. Towels and a washer-dryer are provided, although the dryer does not do much drying... There wasnt a balcony to hang the clothes out so only indoor drying. My only pain point was the auto sensor light going out at 1minute, so i either have to constantly move on the toilet or sit in darkness... Otherwise it was a place worth the cost!

Best at this price. Hostel condition and management procedures are up to expectation. Shared dormitory is not easy for big luggage users if allocated upper deck. Location is perfect for shopping, dining or moving around to say trip or next destination, almost all reachable like a few hundred metres. Enjoyed the corner gyoza sho, juicy gyoza with draft beer very much, small and cosy yet not pricy

The location is super but the cleanliness need to be improved. The bathroom has mouldy smell. No amenities except towels.

Good place to stay, will make a reservation again for the next visit
