"We initially booked a suite because the room description listed one double bed and one single bed. I have a 3-year-old child, and double beds in Europe are generally small, so we chose a suite. The pictures also showed that. However, upon arrival, they gave me a double room, saying it was because I hadn't informed them of having a child. They said we would count as two people. Fortunately, they eventually upgraded us to a larger suite. It was a fairly standard budget business hotel, right next to the train station and very close to the cruise terminal. Very convenient."

"Small hotel located at the fifth floor of a historic palace, in the centre of Genova. Absolutely strategic as location. Single room with private bathroom (not all rooms are provided). The hotel's compact structure (5 rooms) does not allow you to have a breakfast room but the central is located near the pedestrian area of Via Cesarea, where there are no rooms and bars. The single was clean, furnished in a creative and contemporary way, silent. The only point of improvement was the shower, multi-screen, with temperature not easily adjustable. The receptionist also owns a receptionist for a few hours of the day, a friendly, friendly person and available for any logistics advice. In short, excellent stay and recommended structure, both for work and for tourism."

This private parking is accessible on private roads, it is not easy to park outside the area. Recommended for light stays."

"Francesca is a wonderful host! She made us feel very welcome and comfortable in the B and B. The breakfast was simply exquisite! She made her own bread and focaccia! It was delicious! B and B Albaro is in a lovely neighborhood close to Boccadasse beach. It was nice to explore the neighborhood as well as the little beach area. We also explored the old part of town. We felt B and B Albaro gave us a nice balance, quiet at night and close to the city!"

The walls were scratched, unsightly, and definitely old. The only redeeming feature was the location, nothing else."

"The room was modern and comfortable. Location was the biggest drawback as it was placed in an undesirable part of town and felt dirty and unsafe to exit the hotel . Breakfast was in a lovely room but due to lack of kitchen staff , we had to forgo a cooked breakfast one morning as it was over an hours wait … there was one lovely conceige staff and one at breakfast. We would not choose this hotel in future due mainly to location"

"Genoa is a very beautiful city. The hotel we booked on short notice was generally satisfactory. The room was clean, tidy and spacious. The breakfast was also quite rich. The hotel swimming pool requires reservations. It is charged."

"The hotel is near Brignole Station, but I wouldn't recommend walking outside after dark. The hotel itself is in a creepy building, and you must take the elevator (very small and very creepy) to the reception. The room was nothing like the pictures. It was nice and smelled bad (not sure of what, I didn't want to find out). I was only there for 6 hours, as I was travelling further for the weekend and then back to Genoa. I didn't/wouldn't go back to that hotel."
