Such a cute little hotel right by Grindelwald train station! Only thing is that it is up a really steep hill, no joke to climb up while dragging your luggage. Rooms were very roomy and clean. They kindly upgraded one of our rooms to a bigger room, which was really generous. Breakfast was simple but satisfying and delicious. There were cows at the patch of grass next to the hotel, which amused us greatly. Would recommend.

The room was very big, in fact we had both a living room and a bedroom. The view from the terrace of the room was amazing as well!

The room is spacious with a great view. we checked in late at around 10pm, so the host left the instructions and keys at the front desk for us to collect. However upon checked in we found the heaters in the room did not work, so it was very cold for the first night and there was no front desk we can ask about it. The heater was switched on the next day but it was still not as warm as expected. This can be troublesome during winter time.

Very quiet and beautiful hotel. It is very convenient if you drive by yourself, but it may be a bit hard to walk if you drag your luggage by yourself. I like the balcony outside the room the most. As soon as you open the door, you can see the snow-capped mountains opposite. The breakfast is also great and the service is very good.

It's close to the station, which is nice, but it's a bit uphill. The receptionist was very helpful and gave me an upgrade, which I appreciated. The restaurant was nice, the room was clean, and the view was beautiful. Overall, it was great.

It was a truly delightful stay. The room had a fantastic view, with a fantastic view of the hillside and snow-capped mountains in the distance. The First Mountain cable car station was about a 10-minute walk away. The front desk was very friendly, and the room was warm, clean, and tidy. The breakfast was also quite varied, and the bread and cheese were highly recommended! My mom even said the bread was the best we've had at any hotel in Europe. The price was also quite good compared to other similar hotels. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Grindelwald!

The hotel is about a 9-minute walk from the station, but there's a very long uphill climb along the way, which could be tiring if you're carrying luggage. The rooms are spacious and have beautiful views. I stayed one night in a superior room and one night in a standard room. The standard room was more spacious, had a larger bathroom, and a better view; it was good value for money.

While it's close to the station, it requires a long, steep walk to get there. If you're not driving with luggage, we recommend contacting the hotel in advance to arrange a shuttle. Parking is available downstairs. The hotel includes a basic breakfast, which you can enjoy on the balcony while enjoying the beautiful view of the snow-capped mountains. Check-in and check-out are both automated, making it a very cost-effective option.

Beautiful hotel, beautiful environment, the flowers at the door and the snow-capped mountains in front are impressive. Great! I will go there again next time I have the chance

The wooden structure of the hotel is very warm and comfortable. The balcony is full of flowers and faces the Eiger Peak, with a first-class view. The suite I booked has a living room and a bedroom. The room is very spacious. It is the most unforgettable hotel of this trip.

1. Location - Get off at the station and walk up the hill for about 7 minutes (COOP is next to the station). - It's quite a challenge to climb with a suitcase, but they offer pick-up service, so if you have a lot of luggage, request it in advance. - All Grindelwald accommodations are well-signposted, making them easy to find. - The climb is challenging, but the views are truly top-notch. 2. Facilities - The rooms are very spacious and feature balconies. - The view from the balcony is incredible. - The bathrooms have good water flow and showers, making them comfortable. - There's no air conditioning, but it's not too hot outside of the middle of the day, so it's not a major issue. - There's a washer/dryer available for 5 francs per hour (powder detergent is provided). → Washing is done on the express cycle. The dryer isn't very powerful, so I recommend running it on the basic cycle and then air-drying the rest of the time (drying racks are available for rent). 3. Breakfast - A wide variety of cheeses and hams, as well as plenty of fruit. - However, mealtime starts at 7:30 AM, so it's best to leave early during peak season. I didn't eat breakfast very often. 4. Other - The owner and staff were very friendly. - If you hike down from First and head towards the station, you can get right down to the hotel. - The internet was also very good.
