Top 5-Star Hotels in Guiyang

Disappointing for a 5-star hotel. Room was clean and comfortable - really spacious bathroom. Fitness center was large with lots of equipment. But service was mediocre. Check-in was slow and everyone just seemed alarmed to have to deal with a westerner (even though I am Chinese-speaking!) Smoking in the public areas and the lobby is huge and dated, few seats. It just doesn’t have the luxurious and welcoming feel of a good hotel! Just spent 3 weeks staying in guesthouse across Yunnan and we got much better welcome and service for a third of the price! Oh and the location is not great for tourists. The only redeeming feature is a huge slick mall a few blocks away.

Thank you to the housekeeper Mia for her warm and considerate service, which made our stay at Anantara feel warm. The lady learned that it was the child's birthday and helped us upgrade the room, decorated the room and sent a small cake. She kept asking about our needs and reminding us of the hotel's activity time. The other staff of the hotel were also very nice, and the service can be regarded as the ceiling of Guiyang Hotel. The hotel is not big, but the indoor and outdoor scenery are very good. It should be more beautiful in spring and summer. The swimming pool is well heated and the water temperature is suitable. Children can also swim in winter. It is a good choice for those who want to take children to play in the water but are worried that the hot spring hotel is easy to get sick due to the large number of people. A small suggestion, the children's playground is relatively small. If the hotel has more children's recreational facilities, it should be more attractive to guests who have weekend tours around, especially parent-child tours, during the non-tourist peak season.

We had one night stay in Kempinski. The hotel lobby was stunning with very nice designs. Our room was spacious and clean, the city views at night from the windows were just magnificent. The business lounge was on level 53 (top floor), which offered guests free afternoon tea, light dinner, and night drinks. Every staff member we met was very polite and friendly. Finally, I wish to say special thanks to the reception staff Kevin, who serviced us very patiently and professionally. We will be back surely and see you again!

One word to describe our stay at Maison Albar is spectacular. We received spectacular service, spectacular food and got upgraded to a spectacular room. Our concierge Alex, greeted us with warm smiles and helped us with everything thing that we needed. He ensured that our stay was comfortable, checked up on us in case we needed anything and was always available if need be. If I had to rate all of my stays in hotels throughout my life, I would definitely say that Maison Albar comes out on top. Their customer service is so phenomenal from the moment you enter to the moment that you leave. If I could live out of any hotel for the rest of my life, I’d choose this one. We stayed here for an occasion - a birthday celebration. We received complimentary drinks, cakes as well as dishes when we went for their exceptional 7-course fine dining experience. Eric, the manager of the restaurant makes sure to tell you what you’re eating, makes sure that you’re comfortable and makes sure that you don’t have any needs because everything is met before asking for anything. The room itself is meticulously clean, spacious they provide you with high end amenities, complimentary stocked up fridge and Maison Margiela products that leaves you with a naturally perfumed scent. I also love the the daily fruit, beverages and afternoons snacks that they leave in your room. If you are still feeling peckish after all this, you can pop into their French bakery on the ground floor, just in case you wanted an extra indulgence. Also, please also try out their delectable breakfast buffet spread. Thank you to the staff at Maison Albar for making us feel welcomed, comfortable and special.

My stay experience this time was quite good. 1. The hotel's location is very convenient, close to the city center and the transportation is very convenient. The hotel's exterior design is generous and exquisite, and it has a private parking space with direct access to the room, which is very convenient. The waiters are all very friendly, especially the personal butler Xiao Wei, who provided excellent and professional service. He really responded to my requests and contacted me in advance to arrange the room and everything. 2. The room is very clean and spacious, with simple and fashionable decoration style. The beds are very comfortable and you can enjoy a good sleep quality. The rooms are well-equipped with free Wi-Fi and large TVs. The bathroom equipment is also very good, providing a variety of toiletries and soft towels. Most importantly, there is a private soaking pool. It also has a public area with 47 soaking pools, so you can truly enjoy a moment of relaxation. Overall, this hotel provided me with a comfortable, convenient and enjoyable stay. I highly recommend this hotel to travelers looking for quality service and comfort. I'm also looking forward to staying at this hotel again.

The location of the hotel is very good, the street at the door is a variety of snacks and convenience stores, eating and shopping are very convenient, the room is also very large, there is a large gym on the first floor to exercise, hot water, hardware are in place, the front desk Xiaohuo service is very good, warm and meticulous, home feeling. I will choose here next time I travel.

During this comfortable holiday, I chose Hilton as my hotel. When I arrived, the butler Frank had already carefully arranged the room for me. The meticulous and thoughtful service was amazing. What surprised me even more was that I received a carefully prepared welcome fruit. Hilton's service is really good.

Although dated .. still rather comfortable .  We were given high tea upon arriving . Great breakfast catering for both oriental  and western . Mr Ting  丁, serves and speaks  English at breakfast room … saving my husband ( 老外) from adding sour cream into his cereal !  One disappointment with the Cantonese restaurant . The roast platter was full of fatty meat . But the manager was very kind , upon complain and us not eating it , he took the price off the bill .  Will still recommend .

The room i booked was amazing, the bed was comfortable and the staff were super friendly. They gave me a welcome fruit bowl . The service was amazing. I sure will be visiting again. You won’t be disappointed I recommend you try this hotel out.
